With locations across London in Kensington, Carnaby, Shoreditch and Soho, and now Oxford, each house showcases creative comfort food dishes with a twist – think Chicken & Waffles, Cheeseburger Dumplings and Beef Short Rib – alongside playful cocktails and a cure-all boozy brunch menu on weekends.
Echoing the retro-chic look of NYC’s most urban and artistic boroughs, each Dirty Bones features unique, NYC apartment-inspired design details, a relaxed atmosphere of good vibes and the best old-school beats this side of Brooklyn.
The young waiter was superb. He had a really calm pleasant and personable manner and was very engaging.
Although there is a time limit on the table we were not rushed and we had such a lovely Sunday afternoon together having not seen each other for a year. I’m really pleased I took a chance on Dirty Bones. We were not disappointed.
Really lovely food. Only gripe plates for burgers could have been a bit bigger.
Nice place and lovely service but the food was disappointing and not very good value.
Nice location despite being in a shopping centre. Food too synthetic for us. Would not go back, but fine for some.
Pleasantly surprised as it was our first visit. We ordered from the lunch time menu and we didn't have to wait long and the plates were generous. The food was delicious.
Perfect! Fab staff great service ! Lovely food
Always a great experience at Dirty Bones! The manager was a bit quick to take us to a table for 2, without checking with us first if we had booked a table and if there were others joining us...we had pre booked on Open Table for a table of 4! A bit embarrassing for him when we were shown to a tiny table for 2! Otherwise we love Dirty Bones, it’s one of our favorite restaurants when we visit Oxford.
We had a great time and will definitely go back
Went for daughter’s 25th birthday, nice ambient eatery. Food came out quickly but was slightly overdone but still edible. Overall very nice, 12.5 percent service charge a bit steep for a table of four though.
Overall very good. But was in an out very quickly. That said not very busy on a late Sunday afternoon. Would suit groups a bit more. Buzzy atmosphere and slick team on front of house.
Great service and food, just what was needed for a birthday meal.
Everything was sticky, the doors, the table absolutely everything, very odd because it's a brand new place. The decor was good and the location, but the service was appalling and we ordered one hot dog (no sides) it wasn't that big but it was like eating pure SALT, almost inedible and it was £14 for a hot dog....we are NOT in London - it's a chain, why on earth are they charging that for a really salty sausage in a hard bun, covered in more salt?
I won't be going back.
