Dirty Bones Soho
With locations across London in Kensington, Carnaby, Shoreditch and Soho, each house showcases creative comfort food dishes with a twist – think Chicken & Waffles, Cheeseburger Dumplings and Beef Short Rib – alongside playful cocktails and a cure-all boozy brunch menu on weekends.
Echoing the retro-chic look of NYC’s most urban and artistic boroughs, each Dirty Bones features unique, NYC apartment-inspired design details, a relaxed atmosphere of good vibes and the best old-school beats this side of Brooklyn.
What a great find! Great cocktails and really yummy food. I had food envy looking at my son's burger until I tasted my pork belly ribs which were so tasty. Staff were really friendly too. Definitely coming back on my next trip to London.
Noisy groups, crammed in, slow service. Short rib and cheeseburger dumplings were delicious. Summer salad, classic burger and fries not very tasty. Felt overpriced for what was served up, apart from the short rib which was a lot of food.
A very friendly atmosphere, with good service and good food. My family enjoyed the burgers and commented on good flavour. The pork Belly ribs were a bit dry inside, but very tasty. Service was friendly and worked well. Sitting in the front with the large windows open was great to watch the world go by.
Yummy food and cocktails, friendly service, reasonable price and good music playing!
Had an outstanding late night Sunday dinner at Dirty Bones Soho. We've been to a couple of Dirty Bones in London -- this location has provided us with the best service and overall experience. The food was outstanding -- the over the top burger with mac and cheese, and the pork belly ribs were both incredible (and we cleaned our plates). Our server was on top of everything, and even though we were the last ones in the restaurant that night, never made us feel rushed so that they could close. Have been to this restaurant twice in the last 10 days (of a family holiday in London). And I'm back in the states now missing the restaurant. . .
The cocktails were the best but about their meal, cracking cocktails, then the starters next best also very good. Wasn’t impressed by the main course, chicken thighs were just a bunch of chicken thighs on a plate, no garnish or anything. Tasted nice though but not great value for money.
This place is awesome. The food is amazing. The staff are super polite and attentive. I love going there. This time I took my mate from Canada and he loved it! To say we were full and very happy bunnies after we’d finished is an understatement. We had the table next to the street and with the window open if felt like we were dining outside just what we needed after the hottest day so far this year! 😊👍👍👍👍👍
First of all the food in this restaurant was lovely. I would recommend the fried chicken thighs. Simple but delicious. Secondly the service was excellent. The waitress was charming and knowledgable. The food arrived very quickly and was hot and fresh. The reason we ranked it lower was because on the hottest day of the year so far they opened their windows and didn’t appear to have any air conditioning. We were sat at the back of the restaurant and literally baked which spoilt our enjoyment of the meal. However I would probably give them another chance.
Really, really good
Food was fantastic, particularly the short rib and the chicken and waffles. Service was even better, much more attentive than what we'd expect in this part of London
Great find in Soho, music at the right level.. can have a conversation without having to raise your voice
food was really good. Staff friendly and attentive.
If I could give this place six stars I would everything was brilliant and can’t wait to go back. The atmosphere and service were first class lovely staff, cocktails were sooooo good and the food!! Best burger I’ve ever had cannot wait to try the cheeseburger gyozas.
Food and drinks were amazing and well priced!
I tried the chicken and waffles with a side of skinny chips. The chicken was juicy and tender, waffles perfectly cooked, and chips were good. My friends tried the cheesy truffle chips (unfortunately didn't enjoy this one), fried chicken, mac and cheese, and spicy chicken burger. They said these were good. Overall an enjoyable meal. We didn't have alcohol (juice and soft drinks). Meal cost us £21 each. We were quite full so we skipped desserts.
Great service and Amazing value for money
Place was really good, and had a great vibe.
This was my second visit to a venue in the Dirty Bones Chain. As before, the food, the service, the ambience was first class. Highly recommended.
The food wasn’t that great, but over all the place was chill
Was a bit dead when we visited on boxing day (understandable) - but the food more than made up for it! The chicken and waffles were the star dish. Reasonably priced. Definitely recommended.
Good was great and the music was amazing. As visiting New Yorkers, it did feel a little like home! The Cherry Bake was insanely good.
Just great, fabulous female manager was kind and attentive and took a genuine interest in us. She took the time to find out the reason for our visit and then when she found out gave us complimentary champagne. She made a gorgeous meal a memorable meal for my daughter and us.
The food was tasty and it was quite playful menu! Cheeseburger gyoza!! The staff were great too!
Met with old friends and was looking for something which was simple and central to town. Dirty Bones fit the bill. Had far too much to drink, which was reflected in the bill but what the hell! Service friendly and attentive- what more could you want!
Fabulous - great food and my guests really enjoyed the atmosphere
Five of us were tremendously well looked after on a busy Saturday night. Attention from our servers was terrific, just the right amount of checking to make it feel really relaxed but attentive.
Food was amazing, beers always well chilled and pace of order to table amazing.
Going back tomorrow night with wife and kids - can’t fault it.
Delicious. Will have to go back to explore the menu and this time remember to leave room for dessert. Great service too, friendly and very accommodating to my chilli detesting friend!
Waffle and chicken is the best! Always great music.
I can't get enough of this place. The atmosphere and service is very good. Its a great brunch place and the food is delicious.
Very nice and cosy place offering a small but varied food menu. The service was friendly and food came out quickly, so was no need to chase up the waiter. Good value fr money.
We loved it would definitely go back cool chilled atmosphere with great friendly staff
Great happy hour cocktails, Mac daddy burger was intense and is a bold choice when combined with cheesy truffle fries!
A lovely evening . We dined at the Soho branch . Our server was a lovely young man called Alessandro . He went out of his way to make our dining experience extra special
Enjoyed our visit overall happy with the dinner, service and setting.
We dined at the Soho restaurant early evening on a Friday and the place was already very busy, which was great as it created a lively atmosphere, also an added bonus that they had a happy hour running! Food we great, we shared a few dishes for Starters and then 4 main courses which were great, especially the breaded chicken and waffles with maple syrup. We did feel like we were rushed even though they were turning people away at the door and the service was very good overall.
Great place fab food friendly staff.. busy bit noisy..
Buzzy small restaurant, great music, reasonable prices, nice staff. Will go back.
Great food, good value close to shows best to book
Went with my brother on Friday evening and we ordered half pile chicken, mac n cheese balls, cheeseburger dumplings and sprouts to share. Portions were very good sized and this was enough to leave two greedy and hungry people very full! The chicken and sprouts were particularly yummy and there was a vibrant lively atmosphere - but it was particularly nice as wasn’t so loud or noisy that you couldn’t chat.
We had a good meal and it was worth the price we paid overall
Although the overall experience was Good, the service we received was fair. Firstly they were keen on taking our order as soon as our last guest joined the table, secondly half way through the meal they came to collect an empty plate, prompting another staff to clear the rest of our plates when we hadn't finished our meal. Then came dessert, they took the plate without checking if we had finished, making us feel we had to vacate the table quickly even though the restaurant was quiet with free tables.
Second visit- still excellent. Great restaurant for friends and family.
