Nice ambiance and the food was great. The unlimited mimosas where exactly that.
Their selection of food is fantastic! Will keep coming back for more! Great for Vegans and Vegetarians.
I’ve been to Dirty Habit in the past many times and I’ve always enjoyed myself. However, this time while taking someone on a date we were placed outside (upon our request) to dine and saw two huge rats run across our feet while eating there. We immediately moved away from the table not finishing our meals and I informed the staff. The only thing they would suggest is asking if we wanted to get the check. There was no trying to compensate and smooth it over with anything else. It was embarrassing and frustrating. Yet I didnt show it. I just finished the evening by going to get another drink at their outdoor bar n leaving.
Not sure if it’s been a rat problem at this Dc location in the past but after paying $200 I would have expected something better than rats running around outside within their dining premises.
Our waiter Trevor was outstanding! He offered some wonderful recommendations off of the menu, was very knowledgeable and attentive! Will visit again!
Shawn was great. Terrific watermelon tartare and then cauliflower soup.
We were very pleased with our experience at Dirty Habits! They remembered our anniversary by beginning the evening with two glasses of champagne and finished the meal with a molten lava cake.
The young lady who waited on us was delightful and very informative.
Both of our dishes were more than we expected (in flavor and portion). Can't wait to revisit Dirty Habits again.
I went for dinner here to celebrate my partner’s birthday. It was a Monday night, and a number of restaurants we had considered were closed on Mondays, so I chose Dirty Habit due to its unique and diverse menu of cuisines from all over. Let me tell you: it did not disappoint. We shared the wagyu tartare and paper tuna noodles to start, which were delightful. We followed them with the lamb ragu and miso glazed barramundi, both of them were also remarkable. My partner had the DH old fashioned to drink and I had two of the signature drink, Rice and Roses, which I highly recommend to anyone who loves sweet drinks. You couldn’t taste the alcohol as much but after two glasses, I realized that it really packs a punch. Our server, Trevor, kindly noted that it was my partner’s birthday and added the Golden Habit, which was the molten lava cake and a side of blender sorbet, with a candle as dessert at the end. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go to Dirty Habit and would highly recommend it for a special occasion.
Great experience I loved it all the food was so good
The food was amazing. My gf and I shared truffle fries, beets 4 ways, burrito, and wagyu tartare. All perfect! I'm signing up to host a private bday here.
Food was delish. Service was amazing! Ambiance was awesome. Must go again
I took my friend here for her birthday and everyone was sooooo nice! They brought out a dessert for my friends birthday (which was amazing), but she can’t have dairy so they brought out a mimosa as well. So kind and the food was great😁
The restaurant is attractive and the service we received was good. The food was also of high quality although choice was a little limited.
It is not easy to hold a conversation here owing to the noise and there was a cooking smell from the grill which was unfortunate.
However overall, very good
The service was terrible and the waiter was not attentive. We waited a half an hour for 1 drink.
Errors made on the orders, and table of 3, 20% tip added without server mentioning. Familiar with this for larger parties, and support tipping, but when no mention of this, and the various errors, it was unearned.
Service was great and the ambiance was beautiful
We had an amazing time. Good and drinks was great. We had one lady that came over and asked “Are y’all done?” Lol. She could have asked a little nicer. Felt rushed after that.
Restaurant separated into two areas - the bar and an quieter area best described as the walkway to the bar. Food menu is limited, but the quality is generally good. Some drinks from the bar, like a martini, carry an extra $3 service charge, Service in the bar area is spotty, with wait personnel concentrating on larger parties. Once the food is served, forget about any additional attention from the staff. Why are the servers fixated on large groups? Your bill explains it all. They add up your food and drinks and then add 20%. The tax is calculated after the mandatory tip is added. One giant ripoff at a mediocre joint!
We had 6 people and the waiter was so accommodating to our requests. In these days of short staffed restaurants we all have to be patient but this was one of the best experiences we have had done pre Covid. Good was very good - both the Truffle Chicken and the bouillabaisse was on point.
This is the first restaurant I have visited since the pandemic that has been able to deliver pre-covid world class service. Staff was incredibly accommodating. Drinks and food were outstanding, and they worked with us to make everyone young and old enjoy themselves.
Overall things were great, but it was a bumpy start. At first they seated us at the worst table in the restaurant even though there were other options. It was in a dark and dingy-ish corner, and it shared a back to back bench seat with a very rowdy table of 4 men who were making it feel like we were sitting on a roller coaster ride. I was actually concerned that I was going to be elbowed in the head. After pleading our case, they did move us to much nicer table. Still scratching our heads on why they would put anyone at this 1st table... It was all uphill from there.
Overall just okay in my opinion. The servers were friendly, but service was a little slow, even on a Sunday night when there were only about half a dozen tables. Atmosphere is nice. One cocktail was a little watered down, but the others were good. I ordered the steak frites, and was a little disappointed that the frites were just frozen french fries—especially at the price point. We definitely had a good time, and there were lots of positives to be found here. But overall I would probably rather dine at a different spot next time I am in D.C.
Kitchen closed early. Food over priced.
I’ve been here before for my birthday. My birthday was may 14 of this year. So I figured I take a date here because I loved the atmosphere and food. The date was a disaster … not because of the date but because of the food. On my birthday I had traditional pancakes , scrambled eggs, and strips of bacon. I was told traditional pancakes are no longer on the menu. I was highly disappointed. So I saw the menu I thought I try the chix waffles. Essentially it’s chicken and waffles. The waffles were hard and dry, the chicken breast looked as if they put in the microwave and placed it on the plate. Utterly disgusting , so the waitress I got another dish which was I believe French toast and it came with some cream white butter in it. That was so bad in taste. I’m over brunch with this place and will not come again. My date had ordered some type of pancake which wasn’t a traditional pancake. He was displeased with his plate. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive.
Food was good.
What a breath of fresh air! The food was amazing, service was above and beyond and the ambiance was breathtaking. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Amazing service from the time that I booked the reservations over the phone and until we left.
Food was cold. Disrespectful manager. Been going for 5 years, this will be my last time
My experience was A-mazing. The staff were all around great from the host to my server to the random managers walking around. The visit to the bathroom was an amazing experience as it is connected to the hotel. The seating had so much variety from high top tables, bar seating, and tables with comfy chairs and optional couch seating. My server “Victory” provided 5 star service that made me want to come back every Saturday for brunch. The food was great as well as the drinks. I will definitely be going back!
Great date night spot for dessert and cocktails. We had a great time trying DH's variety of cocktails and the wait staff was delightful. Will come back in the future!
The food was very mediocre. we ordered 4 diff dishes and the best one was the short rib. The sauce on the Brussels tasted processed and the mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a box. 4/10. Would NOT recommend. If you want a pretty bar then this place can give you that. Other than the drinks, the food is not worth it at all.
We arrived about 5 minutes earlier than our reservation but were not waited on until 15 minutes later. The waiter then comped our unlimited Mimosa brunch to apologize for the wait, but within the 2 hour time frame, we only received 4 mimosas. I'm not a big drinker, but I've been to unlimited brunches all over the country and this was the worst Ive been to so far. The fastest thing to come out was the food, and this was because we were told the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes after someone finally came to check on us. The food was made well but extremely bland. When we asked for salt & pepper, we received it after 75% of the food was finished. I honestly didnt even want to pay for my meal because the service was that terrible.
The service was lacking. There seems to be some confusion and miscommunication. Our waiter came once at the beginning and to bring or check and for the remainder of the visit we had to flag down various staff members to get anything, which always took forever. I love the space and ambience and I hope that this is rectified in the near future.
Very good food!
Best drag show brunch I’ve ever attended!! The food was outstanding- tough when serving a large crowd all at once. The drinks flowed freely. And the entertainment was FLAWLESS!! Can’t wait to come back and bring more friends!!
Overall, Dirty Habit was an amazing restaurant. The food was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was excellent. It had began to become a little busy which caused our waitress’ service to go down a bit. We waited at least 25 minutes for drinks and I was celebrating a birthday which I received complimentary cake for but never had any forks. I think that the restaurant had become overwhelmed with the amount of people there.
Jacob (our server) was outstanding! The staff and management is well attentive and consistent. The service was impeccable, we will definitely return for refreshing drinks and appetizing food. We were very impressed with this establishment and the friendly and fun staff. Thank you for a grand experience.
