Was expecting nice interior design. Food was tasty and generous size, but cold side vegetables. Very polite and friendly staff.

Food portions were very generous and really tasty (carrot pancakes are delicious). Staff were friendly and attentive without being too intrusive. Nice feeling to the place for a Sunday lunchtime - relaxed with a really good playlist (we sung as much as we ate!)

Delicious chicken cooked to perfection. The Dirty fries were fantastic as they're both hot and creamy from the buffalo and ranch. The Buffalo burger was so fresh and it was a welcome meal after a hard day's work. The beer selection on tap was unique and fantastic if you're a fan of pale ales. Staff were amicable and warm. It's a bit too spacious for my liking is the only downside, especially the back area feels like an abandoned club. I would just close off the back and add some orange lighting to warm up the place a little more and make it feel more cosy.

Really enjoyed visiting as we had been meaning to for a while. The food was lovely, though it would be great to develop a few more gluten free options. It was quiet for a Saturday afternoon and the decor could do with a fix up. But the staff were amazing. Dealing with a variety of requests with no issue, and even to the chef coming to check on how the meal was. Looking forward to going back in the future.

Very disappointed. A thumping soundtrack, too many unavailables on the menu (especially when you have a specialised/ limited menu). Fries soaked in vinegar .

Had high hopes, not met. Maybe I’m too old for this venue?

Great food and service, and nice to have it so locally. Burgers were really nice, and the veggie option was very impressive, too! Unfortunately the beer selection was not as advertised, with far less choice. It was pretty quiet, so the atmosphere was a little flat, but hopefully this will improve as people get to hear about it.

My fiancé and I pass this pub regularly and decided to go here for a quick bite to eat on Saturday evening and found the Dirty South to be a great pub, the food was delicious especially the fries, the atmosphere really good, children allowed in the bar until about 8pm.

Staff really friendly and a great service, definitely recommend.

Great food, excellent fried chicken with proper buffalo sauce, wonderful! The dirty fries are a real treat!

Really friendly staff and running well, you wouldn’t know it had only been open for a few weeks. Definitely worth a visit.

Genuinely the best fried chicken I’ve had outside of the US, the food was out of this world. The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful and everything was incredibly good value. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Really enjoyed our visit to The Dirty South. Food was really nice but what made the visit was the excellent service we received. Staff were really friendly and chatty but also very helpful. Food and drink were both excellent and overall good value for money. Will definitely be visiting here again.

Lewisham/Lee is up and coming! We were kind of hoping that this would remain a hidden gem for the locals but can't see that happening. Don't know what it was like before but so far this newly reopened pub is great! Large space with lots of interesting drink options, delicious chicken burgers from Other Side Fried (so good we ordered twice!). Restaurant service from a very friendly and knowledgeable waitress left us feeling extremely satisfied and proud of our area. Long live Lewisham and Sarf London!
