Diwali Indian Restaurant
Diwali main focus is to bring diners as much of the flavours and exotic spices to their menu from different parts of India as possible. Diwali is a relaxed Dublin restaurant bringing together a mixed management of talented and experienced staff from other successful Indian restaurants.
Love the place, the gave my daughter a free cake when they realized it was her birthday, and gave the other 2 girls a free ice cream so they would not feel left out.
Food is always good. Love the butterfly prawn starters.
Lovely busy buzzy restaurant with delicious food and kind and attentive staff! Great value for money.
Food excellent, service excellent, ambience could be better..too brightly lit and a bit cramped but overall would definitely go back for the food.
I've been to this restaurant many times food always good It's a bit cramped and noisy but the food and staff make up for it
Excellent Indian restaurant. Will come again. Thanks for a great evening.
Super good the restaurant! The food was good, super hot and tasty. The only thing I notice is the prices of the menu they are showing in this app, are way to low comparing with the Menu they give you over there ( difference between 7 to 10 euro)
Amazing food. Very busy so not the most relaxing but the food is fantastic!
As in other reviews, was quite a bit of pressure to order immediately once we had sat down. Also appeared to be little knowledge of booking but was seated straight away in fairness.
Food was good. Service not bad although a bit scrappy. This was because it was so busy, so full, due to it being the day of Diwali. Overall it was a good experience.
Loved the food, highly recommend the Traditional Himalayan Curry.
Great to be back in a buzzing restaurant. Staff very relaxed and polite despite under pressure running a busy, busy restaurant. Food and wine outstanding.
Booking wasn’t honoured
Always consistently really tasty food with friendly attentive service at reasonable enough prices!
I am sorry to say that we did not eat here! There was a group of very loud diners and we felt we would not have been able to enjoy our meal. We were also not greeted with any enthusiasm but seated at our table with a very curt ‘you only have the table for an hour and a half’. There was no attempt at friendliness, no warmth, no attempt to get us to stay. Very disappointing.
Have been to Diwali many times.
Friendly service, fabulous food and a 15euro voucher off for our next visit.
We had a lovely time at Diwali. The staff were very welcoming and in particular were very kind to our children and made them feel welcome and special. The food was, as always, delicious. Thanks for a great afternoon out!
Have been here multiple times and will be back again. The food is superb but the service is even better.
So good! Great for gluten free options
Lovely! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional.
Service was immense, very friendly and funny. Food came out quick and was delicious. Decent value for money and they even gave me a free pint for moving table. A great bunch of lads and very attentive. Will go again.
Excellent service and food. Such friendly staff
Probably harsh with my rating because they are doing what they can given the restrictions on indoor dining. Great food and I will definitely return, once we can sit inside.
Really great food and the staff are great, friendly and helpful. The seating is the best they can do given the restaurant is right on George's street. I will be back soon 😊
Such a lovely experience. Food was top notch. Had great early bird deals available
Best onion Bhaji’s on South George’s street
We had a gorgeous meal the week before Christmas. The food was amazing, possibly the best Indian food We’ve ever had. I had a glass of wine with my meal which was a large size. Fantastic price range too. We had a complementary drink at the end of our meal. Which was a nice touch. Cant wait to go back again.
Staff are so good, really make you feel like your custom is important. Very nice touch, complimentary baileys at the end, gift of voucher for next visit, ice cream for kids ... all complimentary ... food very good ... overall I really enjoyed and will certainly return
Excellent service and delicious food =perfect combination! felt really comfortable and safe during this uncertain time and we thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas night out! A complimentary drink at the end of the meal was the cherry on top of a perfect evening!
Lovely food and a great atmosphere. Staff were great and lovely to see everyone.
Great Food, Friendly Staff and Great Value for money. Will definitely return!
We had a lovely time. The food was delicious as always and everyone made us, especially the children, feel welcome.
Good food, friendly service, good hygiene, we will be back to visit this restaurant again.
Great Indian / Nepalese food in location that’s so near Grafton St. Great value, gorgeous wine & great service. Thanks to our waiter Rana. All staff very nice. Spotlessly clean.
Food was absolutely fabulous, would highly recommend the onion bhaji.
The tv was a bit loud, didn’t bother me but it did my Mam.
We had a lovely meal very friendly staff and excellent food and service
Excellent meal, very nice ambience
We had a wonderful dining experience in Diwali. The staff are so helpful and friendly they gave our group complimentary drinks and starters!
It was an ideal dining experience
lovely food, nice ambience, staff were very helpful, and we were offered a gift voucher and a free side dish as an apology for not having one of the dishes we ordered. Will come back soon!
Early bird great value for money
