D.O.C. Wine Bar
We had a delicious bottle of Montepulciano with lamb chops and scallops. A burrata and tomato to start. Very homey feel to the restaurant. Nice menu options and well located in the neighborhood.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
Always , always a great experience.. with excellent food, service and atmosphere
Our go to place
Great experience. One of the people in our party had severe allergies. The manager and our server were extremely careful with her meal.
Top-rate experience from the moment we walked in until the end of the evening. Even the restroom was special!
I've been to D.O.C. many times now and always enjoy it. The food is delicious, the management and wait staff are friendly, and it's a very cosy spot to be with friends!
My wife & I have been coming here for years, it's one of our favorites places in the neighborhood.
Wine list is reasonably deep, maybe a little expensive but good. Food has ups and downs but the downs are still good -- just not great, which some of the dishes are. The pasta is fresh and they usually have appealing specials.
Most important though is the atmosphere -- I don't know how authentic it is to Sardinian restaurant culture but after traveling through Sicily, Corsica and central Italy it at least *feels* like it's in the right world but unique in it's own positive way. Always fun, eccentric, good energy (especially for groups) and we hope to keep eating here for many more years. Highly recommended.
Love this place! Always delicious, attentive, and perfect for an evening out.
Date and great food
Very authentic and amazing
Great little find. Food was wonderful and service was just as good! Hand made pasta that was simply delicious. Will definitely re-visit next time we are in town.
Really cute vibe - local restaurant- good food, service and wine.
AMAZING - favorite Italian in Williamsburg. The Trofie Ubriacona is to die for... do not leave there without ordering this :)
Wonderful restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Couldn’t recommend a restaurant higher.
Good service and great tasting food. Heads up it's cash only
Food and service was fabulous. The burrata mozzarella was delicious. I ordered chicken with a side salad. I enjoyed everything. My boyfriend ordered fish and also enjoyed his meal. Everything was prepared perfectly. Very nice ambiance. Would definitely dine here again.
Experience was really good, food and service were excellent. I was somewhat surprised by the music selection, seemed more “wedding dance music” than classic Italian. But overall, great environment and had an amazing time with great food. Would definitely come back.
Great vibe to the place and friendly staff but service was (very) slow for a mid-week evening. The food was very tasty but the portion size of pasta dish I ordered was on the small side - I could easily have eaten another half of the same portion again.
We went there on Saturday. The place was super busy but the blonde Italian gentleman (the owner I guess?) was incredibly welcoming and made sure we got seated right away. Great food and outstanding service. Will be back.
Lovely service, lovely food, really nice house wine - thanks for a great evening
Was a great meal!
This is a charming place. The atmosphere. People. Food. Wine. all working in harmony with each other. Their tends to be a smile on everybodys face including the staff. The food is very good. Not quite the experience I have had in Rome but this is a place I would like to frequent.
We loved the ambiance of this place! It was so cool. The food was also delicious.
We had a nice birthday dinner sharing many dishes, all were delicious!
D.O.C. is the best Italian restaurant I've tried so far in New York. The food is authentic Italian, very tasty and well cooked, with good quality ingredients. Waiters are super nice. It's a bit pricy, but it's worth it!
Enjoy their wines with good food to match. Limited menu but just fine if you are wine oriented.
Such a unique and magical restaurant!
Excellent and authentic Sardinian food. Some original takes on traditional dishes as well, like trofie all'ubriaca -- with goat cheese, thyme and caramelized onions. The waitress was very knowledgeable on the wines. Relaxed but intimate ambiance. I was there on a date, while a family of four sat at the table next to us. Neither we nor they felt out of place. The pasta dishes are a bit pricey, but the quality is such that they are more than worth it. I will return.
Everything about this place is perfect. The atmosphere upfront is like being in cozy wine bar in Italy and the back room while still cozy, has a more modern feel. The service, even on a very busy night, is always friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely outstanding. We always have a great time at DOC.
The service the vibe the decor the food the wine! All great! Would recommend
Amazing food and wine! The ambience was perfect for a Friday night, nicely dimly lit and cozy. The service was wonderful, very friendly staff. Definitely recommend! (Great vegetarian options!)
Great dinner spot before concert at Brooklyn Bowl. Pasta, appetizers and wine a hit with our group.
Cute and cozy with authentic, great food. My only complaint is that space is a bit cramped/tight for tall people, but to some this would add to the ambiance!
Great food, great service. Has a nice cozy neighborhood feel.
Great service. Amazing uncommon dishes. Very authentic and rustic decor/enviro!
Enjoyed the Sardinian menu and wine list. Food was outstanding.
The food is delicious. There is one thing people must be aware: they only accept Amex or Cash.
Great place and ambiance. Food was fresh and delicious, very accommodating service.
Should have been told that they only accept cash or Amex. Fortunately we had cash but could have been a problem since most accept visa and not Amex! A bit of a surprise.
I chose it on a whim in large part due to its proximity to Rough Trade as I was seeing a show, but the meal was delicious. Great food, great wine. Friendly and knowledgable staff. A real gem, I highly recommend.
