Staff lovely but We took my husband’s parents for his mums birthday food was limited and reason we went was for paella which wasn’t available but still advertised on the menu.Staff were friendly but no pace to the service. Took 10 minutes to order initially 15 minutes for drinks and after main course we had steak pork & the linguini which were all lovely. Chips were cold and portions were very small except the linguini. Tables were sticky when we sat down and I asked them to wipe for me which I realized was the problem no sanitised tables as they were using windolene to clean the wooden tables with Covid it’s not good enough.Wasn’t asked if we wanted desserts and had to ask for menus and again waited 10 minutes to order and a good while for them to arrive the sticky toffee pudding was dry & the hot apple pie was still frozen so had to ask for it be heated we brought candles and when the dessert arrived they used some worn down candle they found in the back despite me handing it do them 5 mins before we wouldn’t do dinner here again ok for a coffee but leaves a fair bit to be up to standard. It’s a challenging climate but there was no manager on duty and with 10 tables and 4 staff it isn’t good enough in my opinion. Would do breakfast if walking around but wouldn’t return for dinner unfortunately.
Lovely staff, great grub !
Excellent food with a good variety to suit everyone's tastes. Lovely venue with great ambience and vibe. Highly recommended.
Delicious, cozy and friendly staff. One of my favourite places in Bray. The only comment is that it is slightly on the pricey side, especially alcoholic drinks.
Staff are all fantantic. This can only be achived by have a great mgm team. Things have been difficult but ill continue to support them.
really friendly staff, great food and good value for money!
Food was delightful. I had the special which was a prawn linguine. I think it was the nicest dish I’ve ever had. The blend of flavours was sublime, big juicy prawns, plenty of them and rich sauce to coat the linguine. My friend had the ribeye steak which he said was divine, perfectly medium/well, coupled with the pepper sauce. The crispy onion rings, mash and stuffed mushrooms were a tasty accompaniment, the mushrooms in particular. The Bailey’s cheese cake and chocolate brownie rounded off a lovely evening with very good coffee. Seats are limited here so book early to avoid disappointment. It’s a limited menu, probably leaning towards seafood dishes, but I cannot wait to go back. Very good value for money. Gem of a restaurant, and staff as always were friendly and professional.
The staff at dockyard were so accommodating, the food was fantastic. 5 stars all around
Lovely dinner and great service as usual at Dockyard. First time back in quite a while and the same high standards as before. One of my favourites.
Excellent food, efficient service and good ambiance
Perfect spot. Lovely food. Casual dining. Staff so friendly.
Loved it. There were two tables of lads across from us which were very loud.
Staff were lovely and polite, food was seriously tasty! A lovely meal out with friends
Good place for indoor outdoor dining. Would recommend
From the minute we walked in the door we were made feel very special. There was no problem when we asked to move tables. Excellent food- the best breakfast I’ve ever had !! My son loved the French toast. A lovely way to celebrate Christmas with my family.
Consistently great food, warm friendly staff, we love dockyard
The service was amazing, accompanied by the first class menu and food!!!
We had a wonderful meal at dockyard no 8. Starters (scalops, and warm goats cheese salad) were perfectly judged and presented.
Mains, (steaks and barbery duck) likewise cooked to perfection, with lovely accompanying sauces and veg.
This was a real 'find' of a restaurant in Bray.
Deserts not as high a standard.
Great service, food & ambience. Seafood excellent. However nobody came to ask us did we want dessert or tea/coffee at the end. Other than that, everything was great.
The food was good as usual. Although, we thought the brunch menu is more interesting than the one offered for dinner. The two ladies serving were super friendly, one of them (forgot to ask her name) even had a chat with us in Spanish, she was very nice. Dockyards is still one of my top places to eat in Ireland.
