We are quite new customers to the Dolce Vita restaurant but it is already our new favourite restaurant in Poole. Open & airy, with good food, wines, staff and ambience. We are now taking our friends there and they are impressed too 😊 I am happy to recommend Dolce Vita to anyone who loves Italian food.

The restaurant has a bar and dining area. The bar area was quite noisy. The main problem was the speed of service - just too fast! We ordered two cocktails which came at the same time as our starters, no soon as we'd finished them the main course came. The glass of wine I ordered with dinner never arrived, and no waitress around when I needed to ask where it was. We were in and out in a hour! We would have liked time between each course - drinks to sip on and the waitress to ask if we would like the starters to be served after 15/20mins later, followed by the main course after a short break. I would go back again to try it, and would hope the feedback had been taken into consideration. When you go to a restaurant like Dolce Vita you are not looking for fast food when you're dining.

Great food, couldn't fault it. The pasta dish 'Crazy Alfredo' was gorgeous and the cocktails were well made and speedy!

A great birthday lunch. All aspects were very professional .We took a cake which was bought to the table with candles and staff joined in with singing happy birthday. Birthday person very impressed. Small niggle though- are prices a bit high for the area

Just a very uninspiring visit. The prices reflect a deluxe and high end restaurant, when all it is a cafe. You have to order drinks and food at the bar. The decor is pretty unexciting and there was just a sad feeling about the place. We didn't even stay for our food in the end...it definitely wouldn't have been of good value,

When you get too the restaurant it is very pleasant, but going through the wooden shack outside is not good as this is where the smokers sit. We went on a Thursday which apparently is live singing in the bar next door, which when the door from the restaurant to the bar was left open you could not have a conversation. We will not be going again on a Thursday! Food was good but had a very limited range of vegetables.Surely they could keep in the freezer peas or beans! My brother whom has lived in Poole for 37 years did not even know about the restaurant due not realising that a restaurant was behind the rather shabby looking shack in front of the restaurant!

One of my guests has Parkinson’s disease, and is physically disabled with difficult speech. Your staff treated her with such patience and kindness, giving us a lovely evening with great food at reasonable prices. Especially recommend the gnocchi with lamb, amazing flavour!

Ambience and service are good. Food is good but not exceptional. Value for money is extremely poor. In fact it’s a rip off.
