    Lovely birthday lunch for my mums 80th, everyone loved their food. Staff were very attentive and took great care of us. They were happy for us to bring balloons and own cake and were in fine voice when delivering cake. Thank you

    Great food . Service was attentive . Good choice of menu. Lack of toilets at the food area . Did not like the big screen in the Dorma bar

    The hotel is lovely since its refurb however the food was a bit of a let down. We suspected the food was frozen then on the way out we saw the bags of frozen goujons etc being carried in. I got the seafood chowder and it came out with a skin on it because it had obviously been put in the microwave. I would expect a much higher quality of food from a 4* hotel. I also noticed one of the kitchen staff wiping his nose then yawning then putting out salad with his hands 🤢

    Lovely meal, I had the bang bang chicken and couldn’t fault it, my friend had the open prawn sandwich and said it was delicious. Service was excellent.

    Really enjoyed our visit. The staff were very helpful, they were happy to organise another table to suit my elderly father better, and couldn't do enough for us. The menu had something for everyone and reasonable priced. The food was delicious and clean plates left by all. Only downside was dessert menu was basic.

    This was our 3rd visit in recent months and cannot fault any aspect would definitely recommend ,value for money good choice and excellent service.We have arrived on occasions without a booking and have always been accommodated.

    A return visit to The Dormy. As ever the service and food was great. A little disappointed that my request for a specific seating area was not available, yet requested at time of booking. The staff are always professional, engaging and very pleasant. They did not disappoint on this occasion. The food service was prompt and the food served piping hot. Quality and presentation again consistent with good portion size, erring on the generous. A little noisier than usual, but there were a few larger parties at the sitting, but not unpleasantly noisy. Looking forward to a return soon.
