Our meals were delicious and our server Alice was delightful and professional. We will be back again!

Great night out to grab a bite to eat while in the Albany area. The hostess was accommodating, the waitress was friendly, and the wine and food deserve a special high five.

Many choices , delicious food. The pretzel rolls are a great accompaniment. We had the duck, chicken Gabriel, Indonesian noodles, a burger, oysters, dumpling of the day, potato chips and creme brulee. Each was excellent. The waitress was attentive, funny and friendly.

Food was fabulous; kitchen was a little slow; great wine list and cocktail list; we always enjoy DP’s.

Food was very well executed and super tasty! We had, daily dumplings, cheese board, octopus and veal osso bucco, everything was well seasoned, great flavors and plated beautifully!

Another fabulous dinner at DP's. Two specials grabbed our eyes and our palates. Lamb bolognese and Indonesian fried chicken. Oh my. Delicious. Good portions. Great wine to accompany. Let's support our local restaurants!!

The service was so so. The waitress seemed more like she was filling in than a regular waitress. Her greeting as she gave us the menu was what would you like, not would you like a beverage or are you ready to order or something more pleasant. It appeared she was responsible for all tables. A lady next to us seemed to wait quite a while before someone approached her. The food was wonderful as usual. By the end, the waitress seemed to be in a better mood.

Food was excellent Short ribs, Cod cheeks(special) and Pear Salad were our entrees. We all received out food at the same time, it was visually pleasing and thoroughly enjoyable. we would recommend these entrees.

Not worth the price by any means. The food was decent but there are much better alternatives.

Fantastic time from food to service to atmosphere. All tables nicely distanced and hostess and all servers were great! Chef came out to speak to us which was lovely and the food was awesome. Desserts also spectacular too! Will definitely return!

Outstanding food and service! As someone in the hospitality industry I really admired the service we received from our server Brett, he was top notch! His hospitality and attention to detail were much appreciated! He made great recommendations and was so personable and attentive all night! The dumplings were delicious but the stir fried noodles were somehow even better, I can’t wait to go back for more! I highly recommend dining here for a high quality dinner at a very cost friendly price.

The service and food was great. The only issue was the noise level, but I'm nitpicking here.

This place is great. You can also order from the Yono’s menu. Ordered items from both menus and the food was outstanding. The place was comfortable and relaxing. I am not from the Albany area and took a chance and was happy I did. Will be making a return next time I am in the Albany area.

Delicious drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts. It's no surprise that Yono and Dominic are leaders in adapting to COVID rules and their devastating effects on dining out. The quality of the food at dp's has never been better. Social distancing and all the new protocols were followed and we felt completely comfortable and safe at all times. Give yourself a little taste of normalcy and enjoy an excellent meal at dp's or Yono's, or even some cocktails and appetizers, you won't regret it ! It was the best meal we've had in months. We're going back next week.

This was not my favorite dining experience that I have had at this restaurant. It was overwhelmingly loud and the waiters only paid slight attention to our table. I was also shocked at how many people they had in the restaurant and the lack of distancing that was taking place.

DP's never disappoints. We had a great salad with salmon and the short ribs with rice. Great wine list, staff is terrific. We need to support our local restaurants during the pandemic. We'll be back soon.

Our server was very nice but needed some training. Came back to our table each time we ordered having forgotten something we had requested. The shrimp cocktail special was neither jumbo or impressive for the price tag. Some of our apps came out and some where forgotten. Our drink orders were forgotten. Our dinner entrees where over seasoned and a bit heavy. They needed some freshness or brightness. The 10pm closure of restaurants was not on our mind because we have not been out at all. I would have appreciated being reminded when asked if we wanted desert rather then ordering, being told we needed to take it to go and that we had to make other choices. It was a strange experience and not what I have received on previous occasions at this restaurant. It seems like it’s time for a refresh of the menu and better training for staff.

The food, service and ambiance was amazing. They were very accommodating due to unforeseen circumstances and us being unable to arrive at our original reservation time. Our server was very personable and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was amazing.

Truly felt like family when I went here for my anniversary dinner. The entire staff was thoughtful and accommodating the entire time. To say the food was amazing would be an understatement. 10/10.

The food was okay. I had expected more. Service was fantastic. Ambiance was also just okay.

We went there as our special Christmas dinner, and it lived up to the occasion. Our server was fantastic. The wine recommendations from the sommelier were dead on. The food was very good! In the world of COVID, this restaurant continues to deliver. They offer a safe environment while still bringing a quality experience. Highly recommend.

Lovely and nice

Josh, the wine sommelier, always recommends a great bottle for us. On this occasion, he recalled the wine we had gotten last time. Doug, the bartender, mixes up some clever cocktails that are seasonal and delicious. We had lovely conversations with the Dominick and Donna too.

We always love DP's, even during a pandemic. We all need to support our local restaurants and restauranteurs during this difficult time. DP's handles the cleaning and sanitation well with fewer tables, great cleaning, and masks.

As for food, the salmon was to die for and their hamburgers and fries are delicious. We had a great dinner and will be back again to support them.

As always the Pernomo family does a great job! This time however the server was poor and that is very rare for this wonderful restaurant!

We felt very comfortable in this environment....tables well spaced. The menu had enough variety to satisfy and service was excellent.

Had a brownish blond hair in our food.. Waitress made a comment that,”no one is back there with that hair color”. Didnt really apologize. No manager came over to speak with us (granted it was late)..She did take it off our check. Fiancé was disgusted because it was in his mouth - yuck

Always a good choice for an informal dining experience. The food and service were very well done. A pleasant atmosphere in downtown Albany. The menu has a nice choice of selections. Highly recommended.

The staff is wonderful. Our server was fantastic. 2 hours before dinner, my bridesmaid messaged the owner on FB and let him know we were celebrating that evening. They were kind enough to print a special menu with my name and congratulatory note. The suckling pig dumplings were out of this world. I was expecting 1 single dumpling and it came with 4. The brussels sprouts were a hit with the whole table. One order was a great start for 5 people. Cocktails were great. Some people may consider them a little pricey on that front, but as a NYC transplant (from Colonie) it's worth it for the quality. Our meals were delicious. Most of us ordered the bucatini with shrimp. The pasta was a tiny bit al dente for my taste but that's a personal preference so I won't take points away for that! Finally, after we decided no dessert, our server brought us a dish of single bite sweets with "Best Wishes' written in chocolate. I will definitely be back next time I am in town!

Arrived and seated immediately, outdoors. Staff was excellent, food was perfect. Fish tacos were crunchy on the outside and cooked perfectly. Bucatini was al dente and the shrimp were outstanding. Finally felt “normal”while dining! Thanks all!

Enjoy the 36 mussels that was sever to me but an excellent waiter, and will be likely to return again.

Josh picked out a great bottle of wine for us and Doug continues to make fun cocktails. Our meals were delicious and had a spicy kick, which we like. My pasta special was huge and made for good leftovers.
