My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The service was great, the food was excellent, beautiful surroundings and we got to see awesome cars. We are already planning our next visit !
We came to Drago for dinner. What we have are Calamari, Ravioli di Carne, and Parma Pizza. And Tiramisu for dessert. Food was good, and the live music playing Jazz. Very nice experience. 👍🏻
Fantastic great location great way to combine the museum and great food
Service was terrible, my entree never arrived and they didn’t make it up. I had to share my wife’s meal.
Great food - authentic Italian. Attentive and friendly service. It fits in well with the atmosphere of the Petersen Automotive Museum. Highly recommended!
Very pleasant except for excessively loud music from a live band.
Wonderful service, great patio, delicious food! A bit overpriced.
We eat here every time we go to the museum and are very satisfied every time. There is something for every dietary need and the food is always above and beyond. Service is a bit slow but very friendly. Would definitely eat here more if we lived nearby. Kids always ask to come back and it's the highlight of the museum trip
Pretty fantastic food!
It’s a new place and there were very few diners. The food was very good and they even made something for me I requested not on the menu
This visit was a disappointment, unlike prior visits which were quite satisfying. The spaghetti polpette was OK but not exceptional. The ravioli with short rib filling was good but also not exceptional. We both initially ordered the lasagna, which I've had before and loved, but were told a few minutes later that the lasagna wasn't ready (we had reserved a table at 11:00 am, right when they opened) so we had to pick alternate dishes. Is this a properly managed restaurant? Also, when paying I left my parking ticket with my credit card for validation, but the server didn't bring back the parking ticket with the credit card and payment slips, so I had to flag him down to get it back. I was then told that the validations are obtained from the receptionist. The server should have taken care of this, rather than my having to wait and flag him down and then be informed where to get the validation. I do recall on prior visits that the server provided the validation ticket upon request.
Convenient location directly across the street from LACMA. Worked out very well with our Thursday evening tickets to a LACMA members lecture, since all LACMA food facilities close early on Thursdays.
The Petersen Museum parking charge of $16 was partly offset by a $6- Drago validation. Service was fast, food tasty, and we ate among a few vintage cars in the lobby. Too bad that the signage is so poor that most people don't know it's there!
We had been in town to visit my daughter and found this restaurant because it was close. Food and service were great. Not crowded at night because of their association with the Peterson car museum.
The food was an unexpected surprise. Terrific food on the patio. It was wonderful. Our waiter seemed a bit uninterested in his job. Instead of recommendations, he just kept agreeing that everything was good. Only came back once to touch the table. During the reservation process you ask if there are any notes. I noted we were celebrating our anniversary. Thought that was a nice touch to recognize a customer's special event, yet your staff never mentioned it upon arrival, at the table or while we were leaving. I didn't mention it to my husband. I thought it would have been a nice touch for him to be surprised of a mention, but no luck. If you're going to ask the question, maybe you should do something with that information. Personalized "happy anniversary" welcome would have gone a long way at no cost to your business. Missed opportunity.
The restaurant is very good, excellent food and service is also very good. Finally a restaurant where you can talk to the person in front of you without to much noise around! Go there and you will be happy!
Great spot for any occasion! Great Caesar salad, calamari, short ribs, pasta, & panna cota!!!
The place is pretty but the food is not as good as it used to be. I have been there twice recently and found it expensive and not worth it. Also parking at the Petersen is pricey and they only give a discount not validation. I won’t go again unless my dining partner insists
Ate lunch here after a tour of “The Vault” at the Petersen museum. Attractive restaurant off of the museum lobby. Delicious pastas and a good tiramisu.
Great service, huge portions and lovely ambiance. The fried calamari and the eggplant Parmesan appetizer were both standouts.
Our waiter was a delight. Great sense of humor and constantly checking on our comfort.
We shall return and try out the lunch menu.
Our dinner at Drago was our final evening in California with friends. Service was prompt and courteous, food was delicious, and location in the automobile museum a total bonus!
Excellent dining experience!
Delicious food with varied menu, attentive service and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Fabulous Caesar Salad, Calamari, Pizza & Pasta! Wonderful service in a lovely setting! So grateful they’re now open for dinner at the Peterson location!!!
Outstanding food, many choices, and excellent service. Wine choices were well rounded
Everything about Drago is excellent. The wait staff was particularly accommodating for our large crowd.
I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to friends and family. We had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch. It was our family's first time there and everyone loved the setting, food and ambiance. We were really impressed and will definitely make this our go-to spot.
Disappointing. Expectations were high based on reviews. Food was mediocre. Celestino is much better.
The service was excellent. Food was delicious. A very limited menu and not a good selection for children.
The Beverly Hills Drago in the Petersen Museum is not consistent with the Drago brand, as reflected by the Downtown LA Drago.
Delicious great service
Conveniently located in Petersen Auto Museum. Would try other menu items than what I ordered (spinach not great. Partner enjoyed his short-ribs ravioli. Service adequate; nothing special but the server was very nice. Though they validated for partial parking fees, the machine didn't recognize or credit us with the discount. Disappointing since parking wasn't cheap.
A pretty space in the Peterson Museum.
It should be busier.
The location is nice, I like sitting facing the gallery. The inside of the restaurant unfortunately is noisy. The food is good, even if the portion are on the smaller size. The service is slow.
Overall it was a good lunch.
It was convenient because we just ended a tour at the Petersen museum, and there is nothing else decent within walking distance from the museum. The entrees and dessert were very good, but food was a little long to come out and a long time to get our check considering there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant being served. The whole experience took 2 1/2 hours which was excessive. I would not come here again, except we were already parked at the museum.
This was a very underwhelming meal. The pasta tasted like it was out of a box even though the price would indicate it was hand-made. My husband's lasagna was not much better than a frozen Lasagna. The pasta Figouli soup was so bland it was like eating nothing and it was pretty pricey. I would suggest finding other places in the area to eat or have something small to tide you over until you can find good food.
After enjoying a tour of the Petersen Automotive Museum, It was the perfect experience to partake in a delicious lunch at Drago. My husband had the pasta e fagioli and I took the truffle mushroom pizza. The service was outstanding and the ambience was sleek and minimalist in design. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting the museum. In fact, it looks like many locals come by for lunch. Don’t blame them a bit!
Long time fans of Celestino Drago and our second time to this of his restaurants. We love it.
Hardly the kind of place you wouldn’t expect to find in a museum. Great service and great food. The menu isn’t huge, but based on our meal, everything they do is excellent.
When visiting the Petersen Automotive Museum, Drago is such an excellent place to "catch your breath". With a comfortable setting, welcoming staff, creative menu, and satisfying faire, my guest and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the restaurant and at the museum. I recommend this eatery as a nice place to dine and a pleasant space to "visit" in.
Enjoy sitting at the bar. Seems a little more roomy than the tables they offer, plus the bartender, Marvin, makes the experience very pleasurable. The burrata was delicious as well as the pasta which is cooked to perfection, Italian style, al dente! Opted to have the Sicilian sparkling rosé which paired very well with the food. It’s a nice and conveniently located restaurant, particularly if you are visiting the museum.
Food was good; however too expensive for lunch. Lasagna was small and several people thought salads were included with their entrees.
