Drunch Regent’s Park is a restaurant-style eatery and bar situated close to the heart of St John’s Wood, which serves brunch from 11am - 16:30pm and a la carte from 16:30pm - 22:30pm. Formerly The Star public house the building been transformed with sleek interiors, stylish fittings and a few quirky touches that our guests have come to expect when they enjoy good times at Drunch.

We have created four zones in the building – a relaxed lounge complete with sofas and a fireplace; a secluded restaurant; a casual bar; and a private wisteria-draped garden where guests can enjoy al fresco dining & drinks .

We have a selection of board games for our guests to enjoy including backgammon, cards, monopoly, and chess. While Bobby the Bear (our ever popular mascot and one of Instagram’s favourite bears) is on hand for a photo or just to ensure you’re never alone at Drunch.

You cannot book a Shisha table from this webpage as we operate on walk in.
Dogs are allowed don our terrace only.

    I’d been hoping to visit Drunch for a while and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely decor with a log fire and such a laid-back atmosphere. The picante chilli cocktail was the best we’d ever tried! I would highly recommend Drunch.

    Whilst we were seated on time for our reservation, service was pretty slow. It took around an hour for 3 dishes to arrive, and the server got our order wrong so we had to wait logner for the rest of the table to recieve their food. The food was also unnecessarily pricey (and isn't reflected in the actual quality of the food)

    We had a wonderful brunch here on a Saturday. The food and service were wonderful. The fire was lit and the decor was cosy but modern. The only downside was that we only had the table for 2 hours, which we weren't told until our bill was brought to ask without us asking for it! Also, a menu would have been nice, instead of having to look on our phones.

    A disappointing experience as it looked good online. I booked a table in advance to sit inside but were made to wait an hour outside. The staff were unhelpful. Food was fine although coffee not great. Would not return.

    Im a bit confused. I thought I was going to be bowled over with excellence. Prawn tacos £11 for 2 tasty nothing spectacular. Then had to wait over 30 mins for mains and it wasn’t even busy. Entrecôte steak and chips. Lovely steak. What is the famous sauce. Tastes like a jar sauce I wasn’t exactly sure about this. Would have preferred a bernaise sauce. Overall presentation was average. A little side salad or greenery or vine tomatoes to perk it up would be good. Lamb shank now this was gooood. Pink dreams mocktail yummy.

    We had my daughters birthday last night with 17 girls and the food , setting and service was fabulous . They were able to have a separate section at the back of the restaurant curtained off and to themselves . The staff were very attentive and I would not hesitate to go back again . The food was very tasty too

    Was there for my birthday. I made a booking weeks in advance and still we had to wait 45min for a table - then were seated in an empty room from a previous party. One waitress tried her best but the rest of the staff delivered poor service. No apology or explanation - we had our food while 3 people rearranged the room. Clearly not a pleasant birthday brunch. The food was decent & waiting time was around 20mins for brunch food.

    Food was good but I think staff needs to be more friendly and polite some staff are new and they don’t even know to answer some queries or act upon to it. I ordered fish and it was disappointed as it didn’t taste fresh I didn’t finish fully because it was tasting old oil flavour But the peas were good along with chips I booked the table as Terrence request from the website somehow it didn’t show them either. It will be worth to check their websites if it’s up to date

    We booked dinner at Drunch before heading to Regents Park Open Air Theatre which is a walk away. The staff were very pleasant and it was a very comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious. I would definitely eat there again.

    Food was delicious and great service, I have been to many of the drunch locations and SJW continues to be my favourite ! The Drunch beef burger and Dirtea oat latte were particularly outstanding, I will definitely be visiting again

    Booked a table for inside but when we arrived no table was offered - only outside which was not under cover. As it was spitting with rain this wasn’t really an option. The worst of it was that nobody seemed to care one bit. This was for a 1230 lunch sitting so how was my table not available? Poor.

    I would recommend to go with friends for special occasions. Its really cute but they did not have a item I wanted in stock which I was looking forward to. So the price of the food I paid for was not worth it.

    We had an initial booking for 10pm. We changed this to 9pm and lucky we did, the kitchen closes at 10:10! Not only would they have completely rushed our order, they did not inform us of this until we had to get up and ask for dessert at 10:30. This was a birthday celebration - as specified when I had booked - with no birthday celebration due to the kitchen closing early! Completely unacceptable. We waited far too long for the food, especially since the kitchen was closing soon, and for the reputation of the restaurant, this was totally unexpected. There was no chance we would have got desserts. The outside table was far too small to accommodate four people - (which was also in the booking) The server was good, albeit he thought the booking was for two people? And he tried to do a small birthday mention when we were leaving, but didn’t seem to understand we needed to leave as soon as possible as they had taken to long to take our orders, bring our food, bring the bill and we had the last train to catch. Overall, the food tasted good but am unlikely to come back.

    Sadly a lack of flavour across the board. Turkish eggs were more yoghurt than anything else. Berry pancakes muted by overzealous application of ricotta. Service was decent and front of house did well to accomodate us sitting outside. Well covered outdoors in case of rain. Sadly wouldnt come back.

    We specifically booked for outside, once we arrived we were sat inside, not in a nice area. When asked about this, their excuse was “ it’s the apps fault not ours.” Our issue wasn’t that we had to sit inside, it was that we were not told prior to our arrival & we were put in an uncomfortable seat. I work as a receptionist & we can see who sits where hours before they arrive so we expected that to be done for us too. In addition, after we had finished our meal & were waiting for deserts, they had the cheek to ask if we want to sit outside as if they were trying to mock the situation because why are you asking us to sit outdoors once we are practically almost done in the restaurant. Other than this, we had an amazing time, there was one eritrean server and she was incredibly sweet & attentive to our table. The food & drinks were average for the price, nothing too special.

    Food was really good, except the sausages. They were the organic ones but I personally don’t like them so I can’t blame Drunch for it. Everything else tasted amazing, including the drinks! The server did keep rushing us but was polite I guess, hence why no 5 stars overall.
