The duck confit was crispy, tender and juicy. Would highly recommend the duck & waffle! The brownies were also very fudgy!!
Manager was awesome! My son steak was over cooked and he didn't seem send it out. He apologized, had it recooked ant then offered us all free dessert. The food was very tasted and presented in a pleasing manner. Staff was friendly.
It's pretty bad.
They've used the Duck and Waffle brand from the City, and ruined it.
The service was really poor. Totally forgotten about and had to consistently get the server's attention - for water, for wine, to order, to get the dessert menu, to pay.
There were 6 other diners in there.
The menu is so confused. They've gone totally overboard on duck. Just because the place is called Duck and Waffle doesn't mean every other dish needs to be duck-based. The grown up sister restaurant isn't that way - so why do it here?
I tell you why. They probably think it's hilarious for the tourists which I totally didn't bank on being the entire clientele. Which is my fault for not thinking about where this is located. A hop from Piccadilly Circus and Planet Hollywood is their neighbour. Enough said.
The food is bland, deep fried and uninventive.
I'm amazed that Duck and Waffle allow this place to still be open.
We visited Duck and Waffle Local on Saturday evening. There were 8 people in our booking. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The scotch egg starter and the Pork Bao were by far the favourites to start. I had the duck burger and oh my goodness it was amazing!! I opted for the extra crispy duck breast and duck egg!! I was so full but made sure I finished it as it was just delicious :) I would go here again or try their main restaurant.
The duck is tasty. Will come back again.
Rude and disorganised staff
Food arrived at different times
Had a lunch time sitting, it was pretty empty and quiet and lacked atmosphere. The service to take our order was really slow service, the food was really nothing special, then had to ask for the bill several times. at that price point there are better places.
Not as good as the parent restaurant as there’s less choice but the food we had was excellent. Service could have been better organised- we had three waiters ask if we wanted drinks within five minutes after ordering them. Great location and would definitely go again
Yummy food and friendly waitress. Not too busy on a Saturday morning
Having been to the original Duck and Waffle, I had high hopes for when visiting this one for brunch. I would say it was distinctly average. Food was tasty but not big portions for the price. Service was ok. Everything was just generally ok. Was expecting a tiny bit more if I’m honest. The sweet stuff on the brunch menu all looks jaw-achingly sweet. Would have been nice to have something in between sweet and savoury, like many brunches offer.
Trying the famous Duck and Waffle was a london must-do, and the Duck and Waffle Local store provides a much more bookable and affordable (though still expensive) option to do so! The food is great, but don't be surprised by small portions
Lovely place, duck and waffle dish superb, reminded me of France where I live.
Restaurant was okay duck was too salty . Duck and waffle in Bishopsgate is wayyy better
Great location for a pre-theatre dinner. Happy hour 4-7pm includes bubbles and wine by the glass. Love the food - chose Duck & Waffle and Duck Schnitzel and Duck pate brulee as a shared starter. Really super service with a thoughtful little birthday dessert for my daughter to end the meal. Thank you
Food is good so as the service
Delicious and hip spot for brunch or lunch. If booking via Open Table there are TWO different Duck & Waffle restaurants. The main one, located in The City atop the 40th floor, and the local one located in Picadilly Circus. We are at Picadilly Circus and it was delicious. I had the English Breakfast and it was very good.
Food was good and the place was nice but didn't live up to the 5 star ratings. Wine and food we're both overpriced. So many other good places in London.
The staffs are super friendly and the duck was worth a visit
Duck & waffle portion is small. Only 1 duck egg and half a waffle. Service was slow even if not busy on a Thursday evening.
First visit! Really enjoyed the food and service was great!
all food we ordered was good. def did not regret choosing this restaurant
The signature dish "duck and waffle" was amazing, the duck leg was a surprise. Great service. Definitely worth trying
Greasy and nothing special
Not worth what you pay
Lost its charm
An average fast food
need balsamic vinegar/oil with garlic bread! great service and atmosphere
看板メニューのDuch and Waffleを頂きました。７日間ロンドンにいて、一番おいしかったと思います。
Brought my parents and child there to dine. Food was fair and arrived promptly after placing our order. Service average. Stars removed because when asked if my child and elderly parents could use the accessible toilet at ground floor the staff told us to walk downstairs as it wasn’t available?
Really nice lunchtime spot, would recomend if you're in the neighbourhood.
It was pretty good & the service was amazing
Not as good as Duck & Waffle at Bishopsgate. Service nowhere near as good. ‘The Full Elvis’ just as good!
Need to sort out sink/water issue in Ladies toilets.
Fast food joint trying to cash in on a new theme
Food tasted terrible and was overpriced for the quality
Food was fine and innovative but quality of staff was dissapointing.
I like the place, and the outside seating is nice also
Our food , service and experience was perfect. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice brunch
I had the signature dish "Duck and Waffle". The food was good but there was absolutely nothing special about it. The portion was really small and looked very lost on the plate. I was actually disappointed and still quite hungry afterwards. The location looked nice, the service was friendly but noting outstanding.
Great atmosphere, delicious food & fantastic service. Highly recommended and perfect for pre-dinner theatre.
Had duck&waffle for breakfast. No other customers when visited at 8 am in the morning on weekday.
The food was much much better than initially expected. Loved the duck. The waffle was a bit cold. If the waffle is warmer and a bit more crispy, that would be better, too. Want to visit again.
Lovely food, amazingly friendly and fun staff. It is a bit overpriced for what it is as others have commented but as are most places! I would definitely come back.
The duck is really tasty and other food is quiet normal, you can go to a better place if you only want benedict
