Lovely neighbourhood Chinese restaurant that has lots of local support. We went on Chinese new year and had the set menu for two. It represented good value for money. Great bar list including spirits and beers. The venue is clean and modern inside. Not too noisy either.
The place was very busy for a Sunday night, almost packed. The food was good and at decent prices. Unfortunately the service was slow for us than previous times, waiting almost 30 minutes between starters and main courses, and seeing tables that came after us finishing before us.
Birthday for our son. Good food and service
good ambience , great food. we really had a good time.
The best Cantonese food I had by far in London. Highly recommended.
Excellent Chinese restaurant. Great vegetarian options both vegetable based and fake "meat". Had the vegetarian crispy "duck" and it was really good. Huge menu with a great range of dishes. Good serivce and really great food.
4 of us went on a Saturday Night; service seemed a bit slow.
We ordered Soups Starters Duck and "Main Dishes"
It came very slowly - especially Sizzling Chicken + PakChoi (& asstd Veg - misunderstanding!)
+ Rice + Noodles = much too late!!
We took a lot home for Sunday Lunches.
We happened to be in St. John’s wood and want to experience something new. Duck duck goose seems to have very good reviews and is worth a try. It is a Hong Kong style Chinese restaurant. The food is good for average restaurant standard but we would not rave about it.
Decent local Chinese but fairly expensive for what it is.
We had been to this restaurant many times before under its previous owners and were very impressive with its new reincarnation. The occasion was a friends' birthday and the staff couldn't have been more attentive, including bringing a dessert with a candle and singing Happy Birthday and offering a free round of drinks.
We opted for a set menu which was tasty and very good value for money.
The decor is very tasteful and the toilets were extremely clean and smart - not always the case in Chinese restaurants unfortunately.
We noticed that there were many Chinese families dining in the restaurant, which we took as a good sign. The only downside of this was that one family group was very large and noisy which drowned out our own conversation at times.
But all in all it was a very pleasant occasion and we will definitely be back.
Nice food, attentive staff but over priced for what it is
The taste of the food is great, including staffs and restaurant atmosphere are welcome. Therefore, it’s a good place for friends gathering and the price is also friendly for students.
Delicious dimsum and good cheerful service. Love it.
Good food, good service and good value. We'll visit again.
Food was beautiful. Best chow mein I've ever eaten!
TASTY GOOD FOOD OFFERING VALUE FOR MONEY AS THE PORTIONS ARE VERY BIG
I'm Chinese-Australian and I thought this was very good quality Chinese food and glad to have found it in the area!
Great Chinese food experience. Peking Duck was really good and the Clay Pot Beef.
A very warm welcome ,piping hot food, nice wine and fair seevice
Food not exceptional and the noodles were burnt. Service too in a hurry. Paper napkins.
Probably the best Dim-sum I've had in London - loved it! Well worth travelling for!
Would recommend to anyone to buoy Authentic Good Chinese food without having to travel into Chinatown
