A great experience for a special birfhday
Great food, especially the Peking duck and the dim sum. Scallop rice was also amazing. The room is spectacular, but the service is still a bit hit and miss.
Really bad, had lobster noodle which lobster was undercooked, also the Foie Gras toast I cannot see or taste any Foie Gras inside it. Bad service, when told the waiter about it, he did not know what to do! Get some training done boy! Not recommend
Food was good. But service was horrible considering there were only 5 tables at the 14:30 sitting. We asked for the menu several times, our order was forgotten and the manager was very very rude in his language when closing out the orders
It was supposed to be a birthday brunch, too
Kitchen close to early, I ordered a plate and after 15 minutes they said me that it was to complicate to prepare...and that I can’t order nothing more because the kitchen is close!
Food was delicious. Service was tragic. There’s my review.
Food was exceptional but the attentiveness of service was what made it special. This was my second visit and my last was over a year ago - everything was faultless on both occasions.
Great service and great quality of food.
Lobster noodle is fantastic
The Peking duck is always brilliant and the setting there incredible
Amazing, beautifully restored room where we enjoyed exquisite dim sum escaping today’s heat and noise. What a treat! Thank you 🙏
Though the food and environment is perfect, we encountered an unfortunate incident. We were put at a table by the bar and the bartender accidentally spilled a drink on my friend...
Excellent venue with super service and delicious food. Ideal for a working lunch or even better with the a la carte; all in all a great dining experience with attentive staff and tasty choices
La atención del personal excelente.Comida exquisita pero ración corta.Pedimos media de pato cantones, muy bueno pero ración muy corta para las 45£ que costaba.Postre buenisimo
Great quality of food, really enjoyed it
Wonderful service, the food is fabulous food.
Service was impeccable and the food was some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. We will definitely be going there again.
Great pecking duck! Lovely venue! Will be coming back!
It’s certainly one of the best Chinese food I have ever had and service is great. The venue is also amazing. Highly recommend.
Beautiful interior and decor, really cool style and amazing food. A hidden gem for sure
The food taste good. However found a bug in the tofu mushroom dish and no apology.
Amazing location, top quality food, too pricey (for me)
The 2nd floor can use some more touch in terms of design.
An amazing dining experience. I had read other reviews that say the restaurant's not cheap, and I agree. But you really do get what you pay for in this case. The food is outstanding and the service we experienced was the best I've ever had at a restaurant - all of the staff were so friendly and really keen to ensure that we were happy. I highly recommend the duck as well as the caramelised banana pudding (it's not what you expect). Overall, this is the restaurant to choose if you like Chinese food and you're looking for somewhere very special to dine out.
It was my Birthday so we were looking forward to dine at duddells. The waiters were friendly and very kind actually. The time was Short until we got our food. 2 of the maincourses were absolutely cold But they supposed to be hot. When they served it again they just put it in the microwave... that was very sad. But my dessert with a candle on top was free so Overall it was a very good evening !
It was just super loud. Food is heavy if you go for the duck. But amazing and delicious.
Very well executed and tasty Chinese food in an unusual but charming setting.
I do love this place food is great, but it’s the staff that always make a a restaurant for me and Antonio is great! Will be back - again!
Amazing food, service great as well if it wasn't for a fact that our waiter spilled a drink all over the table and my husband.
The duck is an out of this world experience so would recommend!
Really good food - excellent take on chinese food but tasted clean and fresh. Great wine list.
Service was a little slow - ended up getting starters before our drinks but that would be my only complaint.
Excellent and knowledgeable service however the food was not exceptional and it was too pricey for the quality. We had a table on the ground floor; the ground floor area is nice however the first floor seems too cold and with no character. I am not sure if I would go back or recommend it to a friend.
Enjoyable meal and the duck in particular was excellent. I was surprised that the asparagus main didn’t include any spears (where did they put them if not in our dish?) and the chairs are singularly the most uncomfortable I’ve ever sat in.
Absolutely recommend - gorgeous black cod great service!
Disappointing experience having had high expectations. The two of us were directed upstairs ("we have a lovely table for you") to the balcony overlooking the ground floor dining area. The table was ridiculously small and no amount of regular fussing from the waiters to remove just finished plates could hide this. The much-vaunted Peking duck was unexceptional and no better than any half decent Chinese in central London and at the price (£45 for half) should have been. The peppered spicy black cod and Martell black pepper beef on the other hand were very good. The restaurant was reasonably busy for a Tuesday but lacked atmosphere. All in all disappointing and no way worth the expense.
Superb food. Great setting. My favourite Chinese restaurant in London by far. Beats the one at The Shard hands down!
Nice space near Borough Market, Shard and London Bridge. Had the set lunch. Good food but slightly mean main portion size and missing a noodle option. Somewhat disappointing.
Delocious chinese restaurant. The duck Is a must!
Great restaurant, food was lovely (if slightly overpriced) although I would say the service was maybe too attentive - we sometimes felt slightly harassed as there was always someone there, doing something. It may have been due to it not being that busy however
It was a fabulous dining experience. I could not fault the service, everyone was so attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and so were the cocktails. Fantastic venue and decor, great ambience. Rather expensive but we knew that before dining there, however, would certainly recommend if you want a quirky place to celebrate an occasion.
One of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to. Food was absolutely delicious. Loved the dimsum symphony, pecking duck and truffle black cod.
