The food was disappointing & service wasn’t great. 20 minutes before we got drinks, main courses brought out while the starter plates were still sitting, the table not cleared/wiped before desserts arrived. Lobster Mac & Cheese at £30 wasn’t rich and cheesy; the sauce was actually thin and wasn’t particularly tasty or seasoned well. The batter on the fish and chips was too thick, therefore there was a soggy underside. The staff were generally very pleasant but it seemed to be understaffed which was causing issues with service.

Robbie did an incredible job! I had the Reuben sandwich for lunch a day earlier and nearly cancelled prior reservation. Reuben does not have corned beef or thousand island dressing . I thought it was a mistake but apparently not. I do rec the shrimp cocktail also unique but very good.

View of course was nice. It was very loud and the service very average. My club sandwich was good but my companions burger was overdone and not very good. For the price point I wouldn’t pick this again.

Burger arrived well done rather than as ordered (medium rare). I choked on a large piece of fat on the Steak in the steak sandwich. Took 45 minutes for food to arrive. Thought we may miss our tee time. Underwhelming.

We had a lovely relaxed time for our 25th wedding anniversary meal. Staff were lovely. Very friendly and attentive. Steaks were cooked to perfection.. Delicious meal. Loved the extra touch of the happy anniversary desert. View of the lighthouse and golf course stunning with a lovely sunset. Really made our 25th anniversary special.Will be back.

Superb lunch in a beautiful setting. Waiting staff were great in particular Robbie. Lunch was for a birthday so the little fruit plate with happy birthday was appreciated.
