Birthday dinner. Excellent service and attentiveness. House made bday cake was beautiful. Fun and accommodating staff.
Nice place, food was good. Kept it simple 32 oz. steak and lamb chops. Few appetizers and Beers.
Prime rib is always delicious. Was a tad salty this time but amazing flavor. The scalloos were superb. The sides are big enough to split. Service is excellent and I love the ambiance. Great dinner again!
Lobster tower was excellent as was the Porterhouse, Veal Chop a little spicy but very good while specials and sides very good.
Service was great! Good coffee. Good breakfast except for the bread. They did not have ciabatta bread as advertised.
Terry made our visit very enjoyable. Excellent friendly service. The Veal chop, although a good size, was not flavorful. The Salmon was good but needed a nice sauce. Their 14 layer chocolate cake was delicious.
We had a wonderful Anniversary dinner at Dukes. Server was attentive and friendly! Food was great! Would definitely be back again.
My Daughter and I have had Brunch at Dukes before but this was our first Dinner.
I was totally awesome. Our steaks we super tender and done to perfection. We tried the brussed sprouts with bacon, garlic, onion, fried in butter. Superb.
The 14 layer chocolate cake is hard to top.
Our waitress Nadia and Shift Mngr. Jordan
were the perfect complement to the meal.
They we super friendly and caring. We definitely wii be back soon. RON D.
A great brunch and a very nice waiter! It was a good experience and we will be back.
We have been to Dukes brunch numerous times and have been very impressed by the food quality and service. Unfortunately on our most recent visit on Sunday september 20th that was mot the case. All of our meals were very disappointing...eggs undercooked, frittata tasteless and the worst was the pancakes bland, not browned and was mor like an undercooked cake than a pancake. On top if that the restaurant manager came to our table and began questioning our feedback of the poor meals. She was quite disrespectful and sad to say not customer friendly.
Our waiter was great but that is all I can say about this place. My husbands steak was cooked very well but my salmon was slimy with too much hollandaise sauce on it. Also it took the kitchen a very long time to get our food to come out. Waited about 45 minutes for it to come out. Probably won’t be back.
We were greeted right away and ordered cocktails. The food was very tasty. Our server was extremely pleasant and provided excellent service. Overall, a very nice experience.
Good service & efficient.
Drinks delivered quickly, pacing was good for appetizer & main course.
The location inside the Casino makes it a bit noisier then most restaurants, but you can request a table or booth deeper in the seating area. Food was excellent. Appetizers and salads were presented beautifully and tasted great. Steaks and seafood entrees were also done to perfection! Will be back.
Party of 6, love the prime rib but much smaller than it used to be . All 6 of us thought the same . Had reservations but they still had no room so had to sit in the front , piano was to loud for conversation .
Besides the fact that the food is WAY to over priced for the taste, it was upsetting to see that the basis on what you wear is what determines where you sit (inside the restaurant or outside near the casino). We made reservations 2 weeks in advance and wore jeans and a dressy shirt and because of the jeans we were sat outside near the casino. It seems as though anybody with jeans sat outside and everybody with dress pants got to sit inside. Our waiter was nice but did not try to sell us on anything and didn't check on us very often.
The ambience was great. We were seated efficiently. The waiter took a long time to approach us and to bring drinks. I ordered a medium rare filet and it was slightly pink. The wine was very good although expensive. Overall, it is a very lovely place. We have been there several times and this visit was not up to the usual high standards.
We went to Duke’s at 5pm midweek for my birthday. Bill was our server and was great - he was friendly, knowledgeable, and was there when we needed him. We ordered the queen cut prime rib, lobster Mac and cheese, a chop salad to share, and a bowl of past fagiole soup. The prime rib was tender and cooked just right and the lobster Mac and cheese was excellent with large chunks of lobster. The sides were also very good. We’ve dined here many times and I would highly recommend Duke’s for lunch or dinner - excellent food and service, NEVER a bad meal!
I wouldn't recommend it because I didn't enjoy my food. I may recommend it in the future if I happen to go again and enjoy the food.
Quality steakhouse! Everything was wonderful from start to finish.
Great meal, nice atmosphere
Anniversary celebration and Ickes the date bc of the pianist.
Wonderful service!!! We were trying to get to play Hamilton at Proctor's and told our waiter and he made sure he was right on with our service! Food was excellent and even though we were in a hurry we did not ever feel rushed!
We go to Dukes every time we find ourselves in the area. (We live on LI) The food is always perfect! I have food allergies and they always cook for me...no lies...no mistakes...
Their dry aged steaks are to die for!
Great atmosphere...always great music...and great service.
Never received our dinner after waiting almost 2 hours. Disgusted
Lobster Mac and cheese was excellent. Service was good but there were some accidents and drops. I enjoyed the live music.
usually we find duke's enjoyable but the last 2 out of 3 times has not been good. 3 visits ago our food order was not correctly cooked and not garnished properly. someone did come around asking how was everything and i let her know and got a simple yes i heard your dinner was not cooked right from her. me and my guest chalked it up to a one time event and made no fuss. this time we were seated and waiter got our order for drinks and was brought fairly quickly. but, after 20-25 minutes i had to ask another waiter to get our waiter to bring us bread. then our waiter basically had an attitude till near the end. he did get better towards the end. i never seen him before so he may be new and learning. i am getting to the point where dukes will be less and less visited.
Food was excellent. Ambiance was tremendous: we sat outside. The server was very polite and professional but also very slow in bringing requested items, example, a pot of coffee, jelly for the bread. Nevertheless, he was very amiable.
Excellent experience! The food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The service was friendly and knowledegable. We will be back!
The anbience was fantastic. The food was better than we ever dreamed of. Or server was strictly first class. Lots of help repeately asking if everything was okay.
I cant wait to go again.
High end steak house inside the casino. Service was good. Food was good.
Duke's for Sunday brunch is a great way to wind down the weekend. The food is just the way you want it, the atmosphere is classy without being stuffy, and the servers are friendly and efficient.
We ordered the seafood tower and a salad; it was plenty and delicious for the two of us for dinner. The waiter was very professional and attentive. We sat in the inner dining room, which I'd recommend ...
We were seated as requested when making reservations. Our Server Nami was quite pleasant and very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive . We ordered different dishes than we normally do and were pleased with the recommended choices. The Chiopini was excellent. Some of our previous servers stopped at our table to great us as well.
Dukes has a great atmosphere and incredible service, the food was bit much yet very delicious and cooked perfect and don’t usually pay over 100 but it was me and my wife’s anniversry
Never a bad meal.
Excellent food and service as always. Some of the best steak in the capital region. Awesome desserts as well.
They need to have more servers on Mondays (not sure what other days are like) . Our waitress was very good but very busy.
Love dining at Dukes when we come to Rivers! We had the Lobster Mac n Cheese, it was the best I ever had!! The service was first class and our sinner was served promptly and was piping hot.
Brunch with my husband, the bloody Mary’s were amazing!
