Dukes Chophouse is the Capital Region’s newest must-try restaurant. Enjoy a superior dining experience in a fun, comfortable atmosphere just steps from the gaming floor. An outdoor patio with sweeping river views adds to the ambiance of this casual chophouse which features a selection of USDA Prime cuts, fresh seafood and more. A la carte Brunch offered from 10am-2pm Sundays with $4 Mimosa Specials.

A private dining room for intimate events and a lounge directly connected to the High Limit area makes Dukes the place to be seen at Rivers.

Named for Schenectady icon Tony “The Duke” DeLorenzo, Dukes is the collaborative creation of the Rivers Family and the Mallozzi Family.

Everything was cooked to perfection. Loved the asparagus and mashed potatoes. My glass of wine was Huge! Loved it. It takes a lot to impress my husband and he was very impressed!

The food was great. The casino ambiance, not so much. The restaurant is in line (price wise) with other higher end restaurants, so I was surprised to see how casual the restaurant attendee atmosphere was. Casual would be the nicest way to put it. It's also very small. If you are looking to spend money on a nice dinner and outing, I would suggest going elsewhere.

Everything was nice and ok...food was good but nothing amazing. Service was great and everyone was friendly. We were there for my boyfriend's birthday and they gave him a complimentary slice of cake.

We went during restaurant week so it was busy! The salad was just okay, maybe because it was prepped early? Dessert was just okay. Service was a little slow. Meal was excellent!!

Very limited menu for restaurant week, no fish entree. Chopped salad was rusty and soggy, steak and chicken entree were swimming in a thick commercially tasting sauce. Drinks were great. Very loud could hardly hear.

Went on a Restaurant Week weeknight so there was a "special menu" available with a complete 3-4 course meal with fixed price. Service was very good but the food on thjis particular evening was just slightly above average.

Went there to try the steak as they are known as a steak house. It was filled with grizzle. Sides were okay but nothing memorAble. Did enjoy the various bread and dessert.

Had to send filet back twice. Ordered medium rare, came out purple the first two times. They offered a free dessert, we declined and they gave us $20 towards our bill. Otherwise, food was good.

Very disappointed. After being seated in a room that seemed like an afterthought with a large screen TV, not the ambiance fir a high priced restaurant. Drinks were very well made but were very slow in coming. A $15.00 wedge salad was 2 big pieces of iceberg lettuce just thrown on a plate covered with dressing, not one bit of finesse in plating. The first NY Strip ordered medium-rare cane out almost well done, the replacement was very rare. If you are a chophouse you need to get the steak done right. All in all, not a place I would go back to.

My wife and I have enjoyed going to Duke's in the past and thought it would be nice to experience their Valentine special but was a bit disappointed in their preparation. Both the filet and Salmon were dry as though they were rushed and hadn't the time to properly attend to their preparation. We would still go back giving them this one as a woops.

First of all, the service was horrific. Our server seemed like she did not want to be there at all. It may have been just a bad day for her, but looking around we observed that all of the servers looked less than thrilled to be there, so it must be a management issue. Ambiance was ok. Many restaurants in the area have a nicer setting, especially for the price. The food was so-so. The steak was mediocre. My dining partner had the 8 oz. filet and it was tough. I had the chilean sea bass special and it was delicious. The salad we split to start was underwhelming. Our drinks were horrible. We ordered a dirty martini (Ketel One) and a Cosmo (Ketel One). There was no way they used Ketel One. The Dirty showed up as a gin and tonic and then they argued that they presented their dirty's in a gin and tonic glass with a lime. The problem is it wasn't even vodka??? We will not return. The piano entertainment was good.

As my wife said, the food was good, but not worth the high price.
We regularly buy our meats from Gabriels's Market, as they say good quality meats.
We've had as good if not better meals at places like Turf Tavern, for half the price.

What gives charging $14 for a dinner side of asparagus?

I made a reservation through OpenTable and indicated it was for a Birthday. The wait staff was exceptional. My wife was wished "Happy Birthday" by 5 different staff members as we were leaving. The food was excellent and I loved the decor. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our experience. The hostess was pleasant and accommodating. The bar staff was very nice. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We all agreed that we would go back.

The rolls were not baked, or not enough, all I could taste was yeast. The soup was delicious and hot, the salad, don't care for the lettuce choice, but being a retired cook I guess I'm a little picky. Thank you

I was underwhelmed by the entire experience. Food was not prepared well and not to my liking. It was greatly overpriced for what I got. The service was just so-so. Dining partner made a request which was forgotten by server. Save your money and done somewhere else.

I spent a lot of money on my meal. I did not get what I ordered. I thought I did not like it just because but realized when the bill came I was served veal. That is not what I ordered. I was hosting my office Christmas party and I left hungry. Not very happy. This was Friday evening 12/13

The food is excellent, cooked to perfection as ordered.....Waiter was efficient and knowledgeable. without being intrusive. When one thinks it is in a Casino, one may wonder, but I will recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a quality and great dinner.....wine list is adequate.....
