Will Ricker’s pan-Asian trailblazer marches on – an ever-popular rallying point for Notting Hill’s smart-set socialisers, glitterati and hedge-fund moguls. They come here for the cool vibe, the music and the cocktails – not forgetting the cooking. The menu hops cheerily around South-East Asia.View Private Dining Details

Service was slow, but food was ok. Worst part was forgetting a shopping bag filled with stuff. We were one of the last groups to leave the restaurant l, so mostly staff left. When we called back the next morning to come and get it, they claimed there was nothing left behind from our table.
We just had a bit of an issue around getting a bowl of rice that took 10 or 15 minutes to come
Food was good and staff were friendly
Simply awesome experience. Brilliant food, outstanding service.
It is expensive but worth it.
Delicious food and great ambiance. Would recommend the Black Cod and the Wagyu Beef - sooo good!
Used to be my favourite restaurant - consistently excellent for many years. No longer. Last night all the food was very disappointing. Had to send back the veg curry as it looked more like a soup than a curry & hardly had any vegetables in it. The legendary chilli salt squid tasted of nothing. The Singapore Noodles tasted like they'd been soaked in vinegar.
Top stuff once again! Group of 3, tried a few starters and the trademark duck watermelon salad, mains were a mix of asian styled dishes. Great dinner
Love this place!! Visted on a Friday really buzzy and great atsmopshere. Staff are also lovely and naturally attentive.
Noisy, noisy, noisy.....
It's not just the general din in this acoustic nightmare, it's the loud pop music (the place is full of fifty somethings pretending to be 18) and the consequent necessity of your (very close) neighbours to shout across the table at each other, to have any hope of being heard. Only go if you are taking out an impressionable teenager and you don't want to talk. Food good, service interrmittent if friendly.
Booked table few weeks in advance of visit to london. Second time in e&o. Even better this time. Lovely waitress looked after us. Great buzzy vibe. Great food. Great experience
Always a safe choice. Good quality food, great ambience and good value for money. A very lively place with a good bar for drinks.
We love e&o, but only go every 4 months or so, because the menu is small and doesn't change a lot.
There are usually variations of popular dishes and on this occassion 2 of our favourites (sea bass & spatchcock chicken) had been 'tweaked'. I only ranked the food 'good' because neither of the 'tweaks' improved previous iterations. For example, the sea bass was a little dry and difficult to get off the bone & the chicken was too spicy for my wife to eat.
Will we return? Absolutely, but probably not till September.
I had a reservation but the table was not ready and I had to wait 40 minutes for the table to become available. This is unacceptable when a table is booked in advance. However, the food and the atmosphere were really nice.
We were fifteen minutes late. Had A drink at the bar . Moved to a table for two and there was 3 of us. Then after 10m got a booth. All good from then .
Lighting was a challenge to see the menu. Our fault as we didn't tell our server we needed to have a speedy delivery of food and drink - but food arrived just in time and we just had enough time to finish. Tasty food. Probably worthy of another try with more time ... But a note - our table was only booked for 2hr slot.
Love this place! My partner's flight was delayed so we were late for our booking and they still managed to fit us in. Service and ambiance are always well complemented by the incredible food. Even the mishap over our side veg was quickly rectified! But ask for a table not above the kitchen unless you want to feel vibrations throughout your meal ;).
I've eaten here many times but not for a few years, Arrived an hour early and asked if we could be seated, understandably the staff said they would see as they had a lot of people booked please have a drink at the bar. However after 30 mins and very few tables for 2 turning up I had to ask again and miraculously a table appeared despite there being at least 20 empty tables.
We ordered a varied selection of dishes, however the sashimi boat (£25) and wild pink shrimp (£18.50) were a complete rip off. the rest of the food was ok but didn't blow me away.
The décor is now old and dated, however the staff were friendly and attentive, which is a shame.
Sadly I think its time to put this old favourite out of its misery and replace it with a ROKA.
Good as always.
I love the restaurant and bar. The food is excellent. The service is good but seems stressed and that feels a bit uncomfortable.
Had a lovely night at E&O for my birthday, very relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. Enyjoyed our selection of food, great value for money too.
I love going at E&O and usually I give a 5* but This time our table was located in an area where the floor was vibrating which was not a really nice experience . Otherwise the food is always delicious !
Went here on a family dinner and both service and food where very good
Great food and atmosphere
Average food; small portions; restaurant looking a bit tatty round the edges.
Nice evening, great food will definitely go back
Love this place. Always buzzy and vibrant. Great wine list (if a bit pricey) and cocktails. Food delicious, flavoursome, good sized portions. Sushi is always a winner. Already looking forward to the next visit!
Been there many times.
Always amazing food .
Staff very nice.
Will be back very soon!
Great, as always
Great food and atmosphere!
A fabulous evening with great innovative food and excellent service
Nice and good food. Very good and flexible service. Good glutenfree menu! Fantastic coctails. Cosy
I had a really good night with a friend I don't see often as he live Australia. Lovely evening with great food and great wine our waitress was very accommodating and knowledgeable so it made ordering very easy.
Really nice place, would recommend to anyone. Will definitely go back.
Perfect food and service as usual. One criticism was that the jasmine tea was very strong and tasted slightly strange!
Poor food, overcooked and greasy. Sashimi lacked in freshness, sushis were very average, and the duck was overcooked. Having asked for a gluten and lactose free meal, I was served with a side that was bathing gluten rich soy sauce. As I checked, the waiter who took my order apologised, but had clearly not checked properly with the kitchen. The place is a shadow of its former glory. A new chef please!
The Waitrese brought us the Menzies again after the starters and said would you like to order more food, to our confusion as we have already ordered main course with her, when we mentioned that to her she said ah god I can’t remember everyone’s order! So many table I have in here! We were amazed. She then ordered our main course which we had to wait for an while. The food was overall massively over salted, very greasy and poorly made. Ingredients were poor quality. Everything was over cooked, over fried. Personally there are many more options then E&O. Definitely not going back there.
Delicious food and great service. Highly recommend the pork and ginger gyoza
Great food - the sea bass was amazing. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. Didn't love the cocktails as much as we'd hoped but extensive wine list so next time we will stick to that
Food always amazing..... I go to this restaurant every time I visit london and it never fails to be delicious ....... I am surprised every time with how good the food is
Great food and great service and it is in a great location
