Enjoyed being out!!! Been too long
I had a great experience at Earl's. The hostess and server were both polite and friendly and I felt very comfortable with the hygiene protocols in place. I look forward to booking my next big event with Earl's Dalhousie.
Great to be back. Thanks for all the extra work you are doing to keep us all safe. Looking forward to coming again.
First time eating out since the pandemic started. Earl's appears to have it right. All employees wearing masks, sanitizer when you come in, a board with details on what they are doing to keep people safe and what they ask in return, spacing/distance between diners/tables, directional arrows for walking, etc... A little hard to hear people in masks, but you have to expect that.
Food was solid as you would expect. Seems their prices might have gotten up a bit? Ambiance was a pretty good as with less diners it wasn't as loud as it can get in there. Server was good, missed seeing him for the last 15 minutes or so, but we weren't in a rush. Just seemed odd as there were less diners there.
Happy to be back! Everything was sparkling clean and staff were wearing masks. Everything seemed to be taken care of to allow appropriate social distancing.
Happy hour is amazing. Wish it was still 3-6 and not 2-5.
I was a little nervous to get back into dining out but jumped in day 1 and Earls Dalhousie did not disappoint. The seating was spread out (we sat on the patio) and the services and hostess took all the mandatory precautions required. The food was great (as usual) and staff noticeably cleaned and sanitized. I will be back.
Great food and staff!
The dynamite rolls fell apart I have never had that happen and I’ve had them countless times.
My hamburger bun wasn’t fresh at all.
My friends salmon bowl needed some more sauce .
Also we were very disappointed that the Californian pizza is not back on the menu yet.
Great food and service!
Great atmosphere, food was cold, kitchen remade food without question.
The eggs initially came out over cooked but the Server was on it quick and said they are no good I’ll get you a whole new breakfast without any prompting from us the diners - great service lovely family brunch
Very nice meal, greeted promptly, seated quickly. Great service.
Steak was bland. “Garlic sautéed shrimp” tasted boiled and flavourless. Disappointing for $36
Service was great.
Pre-concert food and beverages ... awesome happy hour menu!
Loved the Plant-based menu but wish it contained a plant-based dessert option along with the yummy meals
So well organized. Every one so great!! Food excellent and our waitress was awesome!!! we will definitely be back!!!
Everything was fantastic! Our server (Sam) was great and the food was delicious!
We came for the Lobster & Shrimp Ravioli (birthday meal request from our adult daughter), and left having enjoyed everything from the spinach and artichoke dip to the grand finale of sticky toffee chocolate pudding that was to die for! Zsolt's (apologies if I massacred the spelling) service was on top of everything with drinks replenished quickly when empty.
P.S. The guava margarita is delish too!
We had a wonderful experience - long-time friends re-connecting and enjoying a meal together. Our waiter, Dylan, I believe, was attentive and also gave us plenty of time to visit and eat at our leisure without too many interruptions. He brought us a dessert for our guest celebrating her birthday - which was a lovely touch! Thank you. BB
amazing food, staff and atmosphere. I have never left unhappy.
The cutlery was was dirty, dishes streaked and the food cold.
Just really poor service from our waiter. Non-attentive. Forgetful. Too bad. Normally good.
Not the best service
I was ten minutes early but our reserved table was ready and waiting. Service was excellent and the food was great as usual. Only negative was that we were in the dining side of the restaurant and most of my group was interested in the Flames hockey game. I'll see if I can add a note in the reservation next time to be in the lounge side.
We visit the keg with our group weekly. It’s a larger group and the staff are always friendly and very prompt and accommodating.
Earls was great. I always enjoy coming to Earls. The food and drinks are always good. So far have always had a great experience at Earls. Definitely recommend.
It was fine. Earls is steady, you always know what you will get. At the same time we were not happy with our chicken wings. They were under-cooked and when we raised the issue we were told sometimes they just look that way, but are really just fine. I wasn't looking for free food, just wanted to make the point that the kitchen should be aware they were pushing out raw wings (most were cooked properly, but the last few were not). In the end we paid for the raw chicken wings. I never pushed it or brought it up again, but it seems to me the manager who came to investigate could use a lesson in customer relations.
Great brunch and awesome service!
We sat next to a window that had a sort of screen but no blinds, and the sun coming through was blinding. The place was extremely noisy. The food was good but took forever to be served, and service was slow and our server hard to spot. I doubt we will return.
All is well. Would go again and the food was good . Enjoyed happy hour.
We received good food for a good price. The server was very pleasant and the good arrived in a timely fashion.
Enjoyable evening! But the noise level was really high so challeningin for us with hearing loss
Food too salty!
Food was nothing exceptional. Salad was served upside down (leaves on top, tasty bits on the bottom) and blackened chicken was way overcooked/dry/burnt. Half-price wine night made the meal a good "value" but I would have complained if I were paying full price. I would go elsewhere next time.
All was good as usual except ordered another glass of wine at happy hour time ( 545) and then still didn’t have drink at 555. Wait er didn’t come by our table till 559 and when he went to get the drink but came back and said we couldn’t have it at happy hour price. So then the manager came and talked to us and told us the same thing which didn’t make any sense. What they should’ve done is charged us regular price and perhaps promo one of our cokes or something to make it a happy hour price. It seems very strange you spend $150 and they make it difficult to get a three dollar discount because they delayed in getting your order in. Earls needs to make happy hour work without putting the customer out. Maybe do last call for happy hour to each table?
I once managed a Keg for 5 years so I Know the business.
Food was very poor. 2/5 of our table didn't get the right orders, leaving 3 of us sitting there waiting to eat. Food was just not great. Have been for happy hour/dinner before and was good, will never attend a brunch ever again. We were told they weren't even able to make scrambled eggs?!! they had to be poached or nothing! Also, who makes eggs benny on a piece of toast? That's not eggs benny.
Value was awful. Small cup of soup and a garlic toast bun for $15! Never Again.
My son and I enjoyed our meals, but there were problems with the other three meals. In the end, my husband watched us all eat our dinners while he waited for them to make his order again. The manager came by and comped our meals, so we didn't pay anything but a tip. My husband says we are never going back.
Horrible service over thanksgiving. We were hoping to enjoy a family meal together.
Guys... staff up. You have servers running around, trying their best, not enough bodies to make it happen
