Eat New York
In addition to the butter-dunked bagels Eat New York made their name with, expect burgers, loaded fries, deep-fried pickles (‘Frickles’) and decadent desserts. Their legendary ‘Reuben’ is made with pastrami that’s cured for 14 days and then smoked in-house for 15 hours.
To complement the menu, the Eat New York bar serves creative twists on classic New York cocktails. The space also doubles up as a late-night venue, The Bagel Shop, with regular club nights. With minimalist decor and a laidback atmosphere, it offers the kind of understated cool the Northern Quarter first became famous for.
Kids menu, gluten-free, vegan and veggie options all available.
*50% off Tuesday and Wednesday all day, Sundays after 5pm - must book. Excludes Reuben Sandwich and Reuben Bagel.

Such good quality meat. Absolutely love this place !
Great food and service but place would need a bit of work to make it a bit more atmospheric. Would be really awesome then
Agreed. We're working on it. Bear with us!
Love the food here, have been a few times and is always great quality. The staff are always really friendly and attentive.
Hey Katherine - cheers for the glowing review! Hope to see you again soon.
Located in the heart of the city centre, it serves great food at good price.
Cheers Andy! Glad you liked it.
Staff was really helpful in replacing my friends order with something else when she wasn’t happy with her first order. They were lovely about it and replaced the order right away. Food was incredible. Could do with more vegan options however.
Hi Anna! Cheers for the review, really appreciate it and glad you liked your food! We're adding more vegan options to our menu soon - you'll have to come and try them ;)
Loved the Reuben Sandwich and the tap beer. Will go back for more!
Fabulous food and service. Cocktails are really good and lots of choice!
The food is always outstanding and the staff are super friendly! I think it’s always great value for money but the 241 cocktails and 50% off food in Feb made it even better. I recommend Eat New York to everyone, it’s one of my favourite places in Manchester.
Extremely poor service! The fryer was broken (these things happen) so we just had the bagels - which were delicious. I would recommend the food as what we had ordered was good but the service was so appalling I don’t think I’ll ever go back.
Hi Heather! Cheers for the review. Glad you enjoyed the food - apologies again for the lack of fryer. Agreed, that was less than ideal. Regarding the service - 'appalling'? Ouch. According to our staff there were no issues other than maybe a slightly longer wait at times because we were really busy when you came in. We're a pretty friendly bunch and go out of our way to make everyone feel welcome and well taken care of. Please do come back and we'll give you a massive hug to prove it.
The food was delicious - veggie option and the Eat NY bagel were perfect. Frickles and loaded fries were really tasty too. Cocktail prices were a little expensive for me at over £10 but beer and wine were great. The service was really efficient and friendly and atmosphere was ok, a little quiet for a Friday night but lovely all the same.
Hi Sally! Thanks a lot for the review, really glad you liked the food! Did you not make the most of the 2-4-1 deal on our cocktails? Every day from 5pm ;). The only one over £10 is the Toasted Marshmallow Manhattan at £12, but it is pretty special - and boozy! Hope you make it back to try them x
Really nice welcoming staff. Really nice and well priced food.
Top top food, top top service and Charlie don't surf IPA.
Amazing food, fantastic service... great ambiance... can not recommend this place enough!
First visit, really nice, lovely service, great venue.
Great lunch here. The food was delicious and the meal deal is good value for a Friday lunch treat at work.
Chose to come here because of the January 50% off food deal we saw online. We both ordered the reuben sandwhich which, considering the hype, was dissapointing. The meat was very fatty and cut too think. When we got the bill they had tried to charge us full cost for the sandwiches. We queried this and was told they weren't part of the 50% deal. No where online did it say that and the waitress who took our order never said a thing either. We argued this and they initially tried to offer 25% off before finally, after much discussion, conceded and honoured the offer. I wouldn't choose to come back here even at 50% off.
Hi there! Pretty gutted to read this review. Apologies once again for the miscommunication regarding the offer. However, our waitress apologised and gave you the 50% discount, not really sure what more we could have done. If you'd mentioned any problems with the food, we would have gladly tried to rectify that too. We're not too sure what you expected but the fatty cuts are an essential part of a good Reuben Sandwich. At least we agree on one thing.. you shouldn't come back!
Relaxed ambience and great tasting, no nonsense, affordable food. Would definitely recommend.
Absolutely outstanding again cannot fault this place for variety. They are accommodating to my children’s needs and the gluten free bagel is the best I have tasted almost thought I was eating real bread again!!!!
Outstanding delicious food my very fussy kids loved it, ate every last bit. Staff were amazing and really friendly my kids can’t wait to go back!
I loved the Reuben though it looked a little lonely on the plate. My friend's bagel was said to be delicious. Sides were a bit of a let down. The fries were distinctly overcooked. Fun to nibble with a beer as crunchy sticks but not what they should have been. The portion of beans had been of the right flavour and consistency at one time but while the flavour remained, there were clumps of dried together beeans showing distinct heat lamp type fatigue. Given that the delicious beef was largely unadorned the sides assume considerable importance.
went for lunch only 10 pound for beer bagle and fries cant gramble
