Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef and Seafood starts with U.S.D.A. Prime Beef. Only 2% of all U.S. beef is awarded this superior certification. Eddie Merlot’s ages the beef naturally to an unparalleled standard of tenderness and flavor. The chef then personally selects each piece for the optimum proportion of marbling, and texture, before hand-cutting and seasoning the thick, tender, and juicy steaks to your specifications. To seal in the flavor, the steak is flash-sear on high-heat grills. Eddie Merlot’s has created one of the hottest concepts today; the wine bar provides more than 40 wines by the glass and a very extensive reserve wine collection by the bottle. The bar is stocked with all of the finest spirits and after dinner cordials and Cognacs. Eddie Merlot’s boasts a contemporary but stunningly elegant interior design and atmosphere—where guests can have fun, relax and enjoy listening to up-tempo music, while dressed in business or casual attire.

We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We ordered an appetizer that never came and the food came out rather fast, but all in all it was a good dinner.

We’re always looking for great steak places and Eddie Merlot’s did not disappoint. The service was amazing. Our server was friendly and attentive.

The spinach artichoke dip was a little chunky and dry, but tasted amazing.

Both of our steaks were delicious and cooked exactly as ordered. I highly recommend “Maxwell style” - same as Oscar but with lobster meat instead of crab! Really tasty!

The chocolate cake had a coffee glaze, which we didn’t care for, but if you like coffee, then this is your dessert!!

The mac and cheese was good, but not great. Honestly, there was so much other stuff that the mac and cheese really got ignored.

Looking forward to going back!

Hostess pleasant. Waiter courteous but disappeared for long periods of time. We had to ask for bread 3 times. Appetizers were large and tasty. Entree serving size was small. Waiter did provide a complimentary dessert. Restaurant was very noisy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Eddie Merlot's for HH. I enjoyed the wine and the food. Our server was sweet and enjoyable, a bit slow with retrieving wine and being that HH is a time sensitive event, it wasn't great to see my wine sit at the bar and him pass it constantly. I think for HH they should offer more options, but I was delighted with the portion size having no bearing on reduced cost. The bill was way more than we planned before getting to the restaurant, but for what we ordered it was justified. Just not sure I'll do a HH there again as its usually supposed to be a cheaper option. Food was excellent and wine also was excellent. The ambiance provided a great place for my friend and I to catch up.

We had reservations for my husband’s 30th bday- a party of 15. Before we got our drinks they were asking for our dinner order. We wanted a fun, relaxing dinner. We were rushed as soon as we got there. We even had a private room with a &1200 drink/food minimum and were rushed. My daughter and father had over cooked steak and my mother in laws steak was cold. When they finally brought my dad’s steak back they were also bringing dessert menus! The food was mediocre and certainly not worth the money they charge. My husband got Wagyu ribeye that was $99- it was unevenly cooked and tasted no different than my $50 steak. If you want a good steak, professional wait staff, and good time go to Capitol Grill! We only came to Eddie Merlots because it was closer. Never again!

We celebrated our anniversary here. The service was excellent. My husband's steak was excellent. I had the break dish. Portion was large but break was breaded and over fried. There was very little sauce hidden between the pieces so was dry. Enjoyed a red wine flight to taste 3 wines. French press coffee was wonderful with creme brulee dessert.

Service Couldn't have been any better, I cant remember his name but he was the best waiter.
I was with my Wife for her Birthday on 05-22-19 at 7 PM and we had the best time. If you can figure out who he was defiantly thank him again. ( He deserves a nice raise / bonus because I am defiantly going to be telling more people to go there)

We had a mostly lovely dinner at Eddie's. The food was very good as always but service was a little off. Our server was a very personable young man and had a good rapport with the guests which I think distracted him a bit. He was working hard serving several tables and helping out elsewhere but unfortunately dropped the ball several times during our dinner. He apologized profusely and manager pointed out to us when we alerted him that server was having some personal issues that may have caused the problems which I fully understand however, if that was case he probably shouldn't have been at work. The restaurant business in our area is very competitive and sometimes people can be put off by this and never return. We love Eddie's and will continue to come back so hope this doesn't happen again. My best wishes to our server and his family.

The service was severely lacking and the food was of poor quality, when compared with our previous experiences. It took over twenty minutes to even order our drinks. We tried the crab legs and they were not fresh or served hot. The steak was tasty and well prepared. The waiter was nice, but there was a private party that significantly detracted from the main dinning room service. To the extent, it was a struggle to even order two beverages the entire evening. It’s hard to justify the prices, when a vast majority of other local restaurants would do much better. This scenario was clearly a management issue, based on a lack of sufficient staffing and planning for additional resources.

My family loves steak and this is now our #2 (led by Ruth's Chris). I'm glad we finally visited EM, upset we waited so long and will definitely return. The filet mignon and ribeye were amazing and for sides...we tried mac & cheese (average), sweet potato casserole (excellent), asparagus (hard to screw up) and corn (not as good as DC Prime but average and probably a lot healthier than DC Prime). The creme brulee- excellent. Enjoy!!!

Don't be in a rush because you'll be here for at least 2 1/2 hours. The food takes an extraordinarily long time to arrive. My scallops were only luke warm. My husband's filet was not cooked to medium well - one was rare. My child did not enjoy her sirloin burger - she said it "tastes funny". Not worth the money. We wanted to see what the hype was about. We saw and probably will not return.

Went on Mothers Day. Two out of four steaks were overcooked, and that was after waiting like 45 minutes for the order to be cooked. Dinner salads came before appetizer. Noticed multiple tables being apologized to, so either a really bad night, or still working through start-up pains. For a $240 meal for four without any alcohol, I would've expected a better experience.

Overall I like Eddie Merlots. This visit was for 2019 Mothers Day brunch. We went at 11:30 and it wasnt crazy busy which was nice having elbow room at the buffet. The servers were great and there was alot of staff running refills on the chafing dishes and keeping things hot. Overall though the food wasnt delicious. It was ok. The guy at the omelette station would cook one side of the omelette, then add cheese and flip over the omelete, so what you really got was a big sack of uncooked eggs. There were only 3 people in line so it wasnt that he was in a mad rush. We actually had to tell him to cook both sides on the re-make. Not their general standard. I would go back, just not for a major holiday buffet.

I came to the Mother's Day brunch with friends--mom's only. I should note they had COMPLIMENTARY valet for the occasion, which was great considering it was pouring rain. The manager stopped by our table, as he did others, and noticed our mom's only table and commented it should become a trend :) He was polite and welcoming, as were all other servers. The customer service was superb.
The food was fantastic, the variety and quality were impressive . Our table all had multiple smaller plates just so we could taste everything. I'm looking forward to going back for date night with the hubs!

The food was really good but the service was okay. It was my prom night and me and my group decided to go eat here. Maybe because we were high school students, they treated us poorly. Our server gave us basically no time at all to look over the menu, he was rude, I wouldn’t be done eating and they would take away the plate. They were basically rushing us out. I would recommend for the food but not for the service. Very disappointing.

Great service! The tables are a little tight for a fine steakhouse. The menu is very impressive. Some items are costly and some are more reasonable so you can bring a mixed crowd and please everyone. The 3 4oz filets medallions for less than $35 for example is great value. The $69 dollar 5oz Wagu Filet I passed on.
My wife and I spent $240 with wine ($40) and deserts. Add a tip and we spent $300 for a nice night out.
She had the 6oz Bision and loved it.
