Visited Edo at short notice at 9.15pm on a Friday evening after a show. Had to wait for table as a number of Xmas parties in, but did so quite happily at the bar with a few tapas.
Impressed at level of service even on a hectic Xmas night, attention to detail without being pushy, staff were just lovely.
Food is superb from tapas to mains and dessert. Absolutely no issues and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. Very enjoyable.

Very busy & quite noisy so not for an intimate meal date.
Food was delicious.
Service was slow at times but purely down to how busy it was with Xmas parties

We had our staff Christmas Party here on a busy Friday night in December 2018. Our wait staff were so attentive, given that the restaurant was full. The knowledge of the menu was fantastic and the choice suited everyone. Our drinks were beautiful too, lovely prosecco and cocktails. Victoria and Jorge were especially stand out. I would highly recommend this restaurant for families, couples, business meetings at any time of the day and night. Thanks for looking after us so well, we hope to be back again soon.

Phenomenally tasty food, well worth the reasonable prices. Particular highlights being the chicharron, ribs, romesco, paella and churros. Ideal for foodies and fans of meditterrean food. Up there with the very best in Belfast. Highly recommended!

Warm welcome at door. Told how the menu worked and given plenty of time to choose then enjoy. I liked the small plates idea and would go again to try a different selection.

Good food but service poor. Escorted to table and left for 10/15 mins with no offer of drink or water. Had to approach staff for bill as waitress having long conversation with other diners. Not up to their usual standard.

Good friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Food is delicious and of great quality. We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. It’s hard to single out particular dishes but the Monk fish scampi is a particular favourite along with the ribs and the bruschetta. We’re working our way through the menu!

We were in 3 travelling for business. I recommend you book in advance for more than 2 people, we found to be quite busy for a Wed evening. People inside are genuinily friendly, however that's normal when you are Ireland (either IRE or NI). Any dish was always combined with something else that provided an interesting taste. Versitile, for friends dinner or for a romantic one

Excellent med type food. How can chicken wings taste so good? Great menu catering for all tastes from carnivores to veggies and vegans. One minor gripe was the wine list. For the reds the emphasis is very much in favour of the medium to full bodied. Not many light fruity reds listed.

I was disappointed with food. Costly small plates. Quail undercooked with creamy veg too heavy and fatty. Prawns delicious but squid like pop corn squid .
Not impressed.

The food was excellent, unfortunately due to booking late we had to sit at the counter, this was fine as you could watch the chefs cook however trying to get the attention of the waiting staff was difficult as they tended to concentrate on the tables, so ordering and getting the bill took some time. We also had to observe the head chef, although the food he prepared was great his treatment towards other staff in the kitchen and the waiting staff was quite frankly appalling. That put a dampener on the whole experience and I would have reservations about returning as a result.

Overall food was nice and service was good but felt menu was a little limited/confusing - I understand that the cuisine is spanish / foreign and the menu reflected this, however, I would have appreciated a more detailed description of each meal as I struggled to understand what some of it was and therefore felt limited in what I could order to the options I understood.

It was ok but really not great for the price.

Weird menu - would be better with a bigger selection of tapas & more choice in terms of Mediterranean mains.

Also v bright in the evenings.

Just ok - doesn’t compare with similar priced restaurants in Belfast :(

The food was excellent but the wine list really let it down. We purchased a bottle of Spanish wine for £30 and it tasted like it should be priced around £19 in a restaurant.
There was a distinct lack of Spanish wines so for a tapas restaurant, I found this strange and disappointing.

I would recommend going here if you do not want to drink wine with your food. They did have a good gin selection.

Had main course and cheese board. Prawn and chorizo linguine was penne pasta NOT linguine. However cooking, flavour and sauces all superb. Would have welcomed a larger portion. Cheeses were very good but the accompanying finely - sliced bread served no purpose - better with oatmeal biscuit. Will definitely return for a more comprehensive experience.
