EDŌ brings you a relaxed dining experience where you can enjoy the tastes of the best ingredients from around Europe. Head chef and owner Jonny Elliott brings a huge passion for food from his extensive experience working across Europe, including for top chefs Gordon Ramsay and Gary Rhodes. EDŌ is ideal for those wanting to experience a range of tastes through a sharing themed menu. For those who prefer a more traditional service, the starter and main course format are still available. EDŌ is one of only a very small number of restaurants to cook using a Bertha oven, which allows for the chefs to cook with apple and pear wood to give dishes a distinctive, smoky flavour. Jonny and Antonia look forward to welcoming you to EDŌ to take you on a journey of discovery of some of the best dishes and ingredients that Europe has to offer.

Great restaurant - lovely food with fabulous flavours in each mouthful, and friendly, efficient staff who were happy to take the time to talk us through the menu. You can order as many dishes as you want - but only as and when you want them - with a great range of delicious big or small plates - standout dish for me was the beans, chorizo and egg and my other half raved about mackerel served with fennel slaw. And we both loved the prawns pilpil. Great experience - looking forward to going back.

Jonny and his team have created something very special at Edo! The front of house service was friendly and engaging. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to recommend dishes and combinations. The food is amazing! Full of flavour, aromas and texture - fantastic. If you don't feel like booking a holiday to Spain after eating here, then you never will. Cocktails are equally well considered and a delight. An excellent evening and experience all round for my wife's birthday. Will definitely be back!

Great food and cocktails! Loved the Hassleback Potatoes so much we ordered a second dish! Desserts were larger than we assumed. Two drinks each and several dishes each and total bill was less than $80 pounds. Our server was awesome as was everyone else who delivered food and cleared dishes. Highly recommend. But be sure to make reservations!

Probably the most genuine Tapas experience in Belfast. Really varied menu, very high standard of delicious food. Friendly, attentive staff. Book early if going at the weekend.

This was our first time st Edo but it won’t be the last. The food, service and ambiance were excellent, with beautifully crafted delicious dishes cooked in front of our eyes as we were seated at the bar. They were most helpful and positive in accommodating my wife’s need to eat gluten free. We were absolutely delighted with our visit and look forward to going back when next we’re in Belfast.

Lovely meal, good atmosphere and lovely serving staff. Some dishes are better value than others, the chicken wings were excellent but the paella very small for the cost for example. While three of the party shared, it was a little more limited in choice for those wanting to eat a main dish to themselves. All in all a great night though and it was my daughters third visit!

If you love the "bring it all to the table at once" approach then you'll enjoy EDO. I felt it all a bit overwhelming...food coming from all directions but my husband loved it. Personal preference I suppose. Food good but not brilliant. Staff all very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

This place just gets better and better ! The menu has changed slightly and its more tapas style small plates. We had so many fabulous dishes that I don't think I could pick a favourite . The staff are always so helpful and the menu incorporates specials so there is always something new to try. The chef is very friendly and helpful and even though he is busy will always take time to explain a dish.

Food was truly fantastic. Very relaxed ordering, we ordered three dishes to start and the a further three and were stuffed at end.
We had ‘bar seating’ it’s actually at the counter in front of kitchen. Wasn’t keen at first but once you get used to the heat and noise was actually fascinating to see the guys work and have a bit of banter with them. Would sit there again.
All staff very friendly and well informed about menu.

A new restaurant to me. I do like Spanish tapas and there is a good selection here. I enjoyed the beans with chorizo and poached eggs. Tasty. Service was pleasant and I was pleased to be able to drink an Erdinger wheat beer with my meal. Do try EDO.

The restaurant was a surprise for a number of reasons. We wanted to go on the back of a Jay Rayner review, but it was still surprisingly good. There were a a number of dishes from different places around the Mediterranean which you would not necessarily sit as good bed fellows on the same plate. We ordered a range of things to share and it all worked really well. Every plate was a delight in itself and with others. The service was professional and yet friendly. We really enjoyed our evening - thank you everyone at Edo.

Lovely food, great for sharing rather than ordering individually. Great vegan, vegetarian options, Gluten free identified, just ask server. Excellent service, nothing too much trouble, check regularly to see if anything else is needed and everything is good. Book in advance... It's really busy!

The food is good, but most portions are very small and staff unhelpful about plate sizes/selection. The carne plate was a disgrace for the price. Then hassled off the table “I don’t know if you were told but we need the table back at 9 you can sit on a stool at the bar if you want a desert.” Would only go again if stuck for somewhere to eat

Good food. Tried 5 dishes (tapas style), all good, but the braised meet was a bit off (flavors did not complement well with the rest). Reasonably priced. Good selection of cocktails and wine, but not so much of beers. Nice friendly and fast service. If I lived in Belfast, I'd probably come to this place often.

Three of us had lunch there on a Thursday. The restaurant was not too busy & we were offered menu s plus vegetarian immediately. Water was brought promptly to our table. Out choices made, we ordered & were informed that each dish was made freshly & they make for nit be served all together. However, all came to our table @ the same time. We enjoyed our lunch & will certainly visit again! Thank you
