Food here is very good. Much of the fish is flown in from japan fresh. Nice ambiance and excellent design and decor. Service was good but not memorable.
So far, the best sushi we've found in Irving. This was our second visit, and it did not disappoint. The starters were delicious and we even tried the river crab. The Toro was spot on and is what I can't wait to got back for. We each did our own roll afterwards.
Great place and recommend a reservation. It fills up quickly.
Had a terrible smell inside. We had to move outside.
Great food, a true hidden gem in Irving. You won’t regret going here. Try the uni shooters.
Edoko Omakase was exactly what we were looking for. As it was our evening without the kids, I wanted a unique and classy sushi evening but didn’t want the overkill of a Nobu nor did I want the simplicity of a sushi bar. This is the place! The menu is unique and exciting. The variety of combinations will make you long forget a California Roll even exists. If you have someone with you that’s not a sushi fan, don’t worry. The Chef has some really unique items for the brisket and chicken fans out there.
I’d recommend looking through all of the food photographs on their Yelp reviews as it helps you appreciate, and even get excited, for what items you will want to try. The menu doesn’t have photos, and the descriptions often don’t mean much to an amateur like me. There’s so many great things you should try and might not know how good they’d be without those great reviews photos.
Service staff was superb. They had great descriptions and recommendations for us.
We had a great time at edoko. We all did the omakase courses and then ordered some nigiri. Very good selection and def coming back in the future.
Go here. You won’t regret it. Fresh inventive chef who makes you feel welcome.
Worst restaurant experience.
I lived in LA and Vegas and had enough of both high-end and inexpensive omakase experiences. I’m not even trying to compare with them, because this was the worst among any restaurants. If anyone informed us it will take more than 2.5 hrs for 7 course omakase, we wouldn’t have it. We had omakase per each person and after couple dishes, we had to order two dishes from menu as sides bc we were getting tired and hungry. Also asked for fresh wasabi in the middle of course and it took them more than 30 min. to serve then they charged me $6 per each tiny ball of fresh wasabi ;) It would’ve been actually better if they just make omakase $110 with including those extras. After 5th dish we’ve ordered some extra sushi and of course no one informed us each order is 1 piece. You may say why don’t you just order more then? But after almost 2 hrs of dinner with mostly waiting time..? We were exhausting. We’ve asked them to make 7th dish (dessert) in togo box. My reservation was at 6pm and they gave me check during 6th dish (8:13 pm).
I don’t think any business should treat their customer in this way.
Oh don’t even tell me you guys were short on chefs. There is reason for restaurants not filling all the table sometimes especially when they are short on staffs so they can serve better.
It was just amazing! We love food and we wanted to try the Omakase set menu, everything looked and trastes great.
Thank you for making my husband’s birthday so spacial! The yuzu cheesecake...was amazing!
Super high quality food. Nigiri was made very well.
Thoroughly enjoyed the omakase!
Everything was wonderful! We had a great experience!
Our favorite place.
One of the best sushi experiences I've ever had...every bite was amazing. Yuzu Cheesecake was a fantastic finish.
The most amazing omakase experience in Dallas. The food is creative and delicious. Fresh and unique sushi. Best tartare we’ve ever had. Sitting at the sushi counter was perfect for getting a free show too!
Excellent service, outstanding chef and the best sushi in DFW.
Great sushi place! Food, service and restaurant always clean and welcoming!
Muy agradable lugar con buen sushi. La comida es deliciosa.
Service was terrible. Dishes were not expedited well, server did not communicate with kitchen staff. Food overall was okay.
Very good foods .
A fantastic option for lunch, happy hour, or date night. Grab a table or sit with Chef at the bar. Sophia is great too! I recommend the Chef’s Choice - and the crispy shrimp roll is my favorite. 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Great tasting food. Portions on the smaller side, but tasty.
Our dishes were well presented & tasty. The server was helpful in making menu decisions.
Such a great meal!! Delicious!
I have been here three times in the past 8 weeks, including one time with guests from Chicago, family. The sushi here is very good, very high quality and the service is outstanding. Sitting at the sushi bar is a real treat. Everyone remembers you and your preferences, which is quite impressive; including fresh wasabi. Please visit frequently and let's keep this hidden gem in Las Colinas!
Our server knew it was our 10yo nephews birthday and without asking brought him a fried ice cream desert. So cool and so yummy!!
The food and service was good but I think the items are a bit overpriced. Also it started to get busy and the service slowed down a bit although our waitress was very attentive. Overall I would give it 4 stars.
The service and sushi is outstanding!
This was a very enjoyable dinning experience. If you like quality sushi this is the place for you.
I'm a sushi snob, and this restaurant passed the test with flying colors. This restaurant claims to not have everything on their menu, but to do the items they do have on the menu in an exceptional way - and I agree! Each item we ordered (whether festive or normal) was absolutely delicious. The quality of the fish compares to that you would find at a very high end sushi restaurant. Service was wonderful. Will definitely be returning!
Great food, exemplary service and experience. Look forward to returning soon and often!
Fantastic sushi and some really good exotic options
Fabulous food and service. Unbelievably fortunate to have this gem in Las Colinas, nothing beats real, high quality sushi!
Great atmosphere. Fresh fish. Good experience.
One of the most exciting new Japanese restaurants in DFW. Amazing omakase platters as well as top notch a la cart options.
We celebrated our anniversary here. After months of quarantining and social distancing we decided to venture out and splurge. We treated ourselves to the omakase and it was well worth it. We had a 7 course meal with each serving curated and served with purpose. Chef Lee knows how to pair different seasonings to bring out the best in each fish. For example we had squid and Ive had squid all my life but when I ate his squid sushi I was mind blown! Ive never had squid like that before. I don’t know if that’ll be on the upcoming omakase but it was delish. Uni was the freshest I’ve had in the dfw. Definitely will be coming back and bringing all my friends and family. Ty!
Best sushi in Las Colinas area everything is super fresh
Everything was tasty
Sushi quality was high. Omikaze was good but underwhelming though and ultimately pricey for what is served. Will definitely be back but will stick with the rolls and a la carte menu.
