Ed's Diner - Victoria Place
Staff were not helpful milkshake was half full.waited a longtime for drinks. Waitress did not take discount of bill.
A perfect diner experience. Love the food there . Great choice of food and it came quick which is what you need when its based in a station
Very rude and dishonest billing by manager. She unwillingly reduced the overcharging when we pointed out the mistakes. Bad attitudes!
Food is good but they are under staffed so attention to detail and customer service is lacking. The theme is nice but the furniture is worn. I come back because of the food choice, taste and value for money
Very good food and great service from the manager, though we could have used more tap water top ups. Furniture is a bit natty, as others have mentioned, but we enjoyed nonetheless.
The customer service was very good but the food was not very tasty. The fries were hard and tasteless, the salad was just a wet mush and the hot dog my son ordered was over done and not nice in a soggy bun.
Food was delicious and staff were very helpful and friendly!
This is a perfect place to take kids and not worry about them annoying other customers. It’s just an overpriced version of McDonalds (but without the toy). As I don’t have kids I won’t be returning...
Arrived at EDs Diner within the allocated booking time of between 1800 and the cut off of 1815.
As we started booking in we were told by the staff there would be a 30 minute waiting time.
We advised the staff we had a table booked and that service was not what we requested as we had transport for 1930.
we then left the restaurant and ate elsewhere.
A little deceiving to find at first, it is located on the upper level of Victoria Station in the Food Court. Service was quick and friendly. Food was on par with all of the other Traditional English Breakfasts that we had enjoyed this week. Credit card machine was down, so we had to use cash that we had been saving up for Pubs and other quick purchases.
If I could give a no star review, I think I would.
Booked a table via Open Table and arrived early. The waitress who served us hardly gave us a chance to confirm the booking. She promptly took us to a tatty booth with torn upholstery.
We had my friend's little boy with us and we asked if we could have a highchair and somewhere to store a buggy and was told to place the buggy next to the highchairs. We took the first highchair, which still had food on it. We cleaned that and sat down.
We then proceeded to wait for the waitress to ask us for drinks. She quickly dismissed us and went to serve someone else. We waited close to twenty minutes and asked another sever for help who hardly acknowledged us -said just a minute and walked away.
Overall, customer service was sorely lacking. Perhaps they should invest in more staff or just staff who want to work there.
Sadly, we never got to experience the food. We took our clientele elsewhere and received excellent customer service at Cafe Rouge.
Authentic American diner with authentic American food. Good value for money.
Was pleasantly surprised by the service and standard of food. Our waitress was superb and we were well looked after. The food was excellent. We all had a great time and would be happy to return.
The quality of the food was not great at all, desert was sent back as was rock hard. My only saving grace was i could use my taste card to make the cost realistic to the food standards
The waffle fries were really nice and so was the fried chicken breast, but the ribs and corn were both really dry, no butter on the corn and even though the ribs had sauce they were dry.
The service was okay, the people were nice but it did take us a while to get our bill at the end of our meal even though the restaurant only had about 6 sets of customers.
Its a lovely restaurant though my only fault is that the toilets are shared with other restaurant and is very far away... other than that Its great.
Service was amazing, lovely people! Great food, great surroundings!
Food was delicious however service was a bit on the slow side - we had to wait for quite a while before our dishes were brought to our table.
Not enough staff for the amount of people, I believe this is the reason they were a bit rude.
Long wait before getting a table, and staff member were not aware of my reservation.
We have had numerous meals at Ed's Victoria, but this is now the third time they did not have Banofee pie again.
Really shockingly bad. Understaffed, so tables dirty, waitresses running around trying their best to cope. Food was nasty - cheap ingredients. Managed to forget the cheese in a cheese burger. Massively overpriced. Nothing good about the experience and would advise people to avoid
I enjoy every visit. Loving the loyalty rewards, looking forward to my next trip.
