EDWINS Ratings and Reviews
I went back to Edwin’s again for dinner with a work colleague and it did not disappoint. Although a little on the expensive side, the food is gorgeous, the service very pleasant and the atmosphere very cosy. We shared the ravioli as a starter, the chateaubriand and a bottle of Languedoc red and it was very tasty, as was the Sundae. The portions are just right. The service is discreet and very warm. Love the slightly retro and candle-lit atmosphere.
Edwins is a hidden gem. We've always loved it for cosy dinners and fun lunches but now it does brunch too! The mushrooms on toast was the best I've ever had and the Bloody Mary was delicious, spot on. Service as usual was friendly and the space is gorgeous.
Convenient, right by the tube and on the high street yet quiet and airey. The restaurant gets the balance right between respected intimacy for diners and presence and friendliness of staff. Thank you to the waiter who skilfully prepared a pre theatre cocktail perfectly themed for our evening at The Great Gatsby!
Edwin's is always a favourite venue for us, whether its a romantic occasion, special treat or a dinner with friends. The cosy yet stylish interior creates an relaxed ambience, together with brilliant friendly staff and of course delicious food. Bring back the venison and never take the scallops off the menu!
