With access to panoramic views of Pendle Hill, and a range of seasonal menus, created and tailored by our Chef Patron, Doug Crampton, Eight at Gazegill is the epitome of a 'farm-to-fork' restaurant, being owned by and located directly on a working organic farm, Gazegill Organics, in the Ribble Valley.

Showcasing the best of the produce from the farm, which includes organic slow-reared pork and raw milk, and utilising the seasonal bounty that can be found in the surrounding hedgerows and countryside, Eight at Gazegill reconnects guests to nature through the food.

Our Brunch, All-Day and Sunday Lunch menus are suitable for all, while our Friday and Saturday evening Tasting Menu offers a more grown up experience. We also have specifically designed menus which are suitable to be eaten on our outside terrace area where the addition of a large purpose-built playground makes this the perfect location for families to enjoy the sunshine.

There’s something truly magical about a Sunday lunch, especially when the day is chilly and the table is set with love. The smell of slow-roasted meat, tender and perfectly seasoned, fills the room, and you know you're in for a treat. Freshly baked bread, its golden crust crackling as you tear it apart, revealing the soft warmth within. Bowls of colourful, crisp vegetables brighten the table, with buttery roasted potatoes and tangy gravy ready to be drizzled over everything. It’s the kind of meal that feels like a hug – comforting, hearty, and satisfying. Positive vibes float in the air as family and friends gather around the table, glasses clinking in a toast to good company and great food. Conversations flow easily, from stories of the week past to dreams for the future, all shared over a delicious feast. Every bite bursts with flavour, making each dish feel like a little celebration. Desert promised a sweet finish, that did not disappoint . As the afternoon stretches on, you're left with a feeling of contentment, a full heart, and the perfect reminder of what Sundays are all about.

The tasting menu was superb. We enjoy eating out and this was definitely the best meal we have had for a long time. Each course was wonderfully presented and well thought out. The food was delicious.

This was our first experience at this restaurant and was a special occasion for our wedding anniversary. Initially we were a little shocked that the all day menu wasn't available (didn't notice that this was only available until 3pm) and that we would have to have 'A Taste of Gazegill' which was a tasting menu at £75 per person, quite a lot more than we had anticipated paying for the evening. Whilst I accept I didn't read it properly, I do think the title 'All Day Menu' is a bit misleading if it is only served from 12pm to 3pm on Saturdays. That said, it was a fantastic experience and the food was amazing. Couldn't fault the food, the staff or the service. The location is just beautiful and I am sure we will return at some point but for the all day menu - at the right time.

Our family had a very delicious Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday and we all thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the experience. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and keen for us to have a good experience. The food was inventive, fresh, tasty and attractive in a balanced menu served on pleasant tableware and crockery. The restaurant is a lovely, comfortable, cleverly designed and welcoming building unlike anything else we’ve been to. Absolutely couldn’t fault it and will very much look forward to future visits…it’s a special place.
