Lovely atmosphere as always, the air conditioning was a bit cold so I had to keep my jacket on but I think one of the staff members realised and they came to turn off the cold air. Our waitress forgot one of our drinks but they were very apologetic about it. The staff are always so kind and attentive and the Christmas decor was beautiful as always
Friendly and very accommodating, I had a double stroller and the staff helped with ensuring I am able to sit inside making room, which is very thoughtful. Great food as always.
I had a wonderful first experience. The staff were very friendly. The place was cleaning and beautiful.
Overall a little underwhelming. Seating was so low and crowded together. Made it hard to eat and converse. Eggs were great, waffles disappointing
This cafe is lovely and chilled out. Friendly helpful staff and delicious food!
Arrived 10 mins late due to lots of road closures and was told our table had been given away and we would not be seated for 90 minutes even though there was empty tables and host was not apologetic at all, extremely unimpressed. Instead took a taxi to market place and got seated within 10 mins and had the greatest service, staff couldn’t be more helpful!
Pleasant experience. This branch was far more friendlier than the other branch down the road who completely ignored me and pretended I hadn’t been standing there waiting to be seated. It maybe be bigger but I would not recommend that branch directly opposite harrods. Complete chaos
The other branch I went to were patient, caring and understanding. Loved my experience there and so did my daughters. So thank you.
Thought the cafe would of been bigger they sat us at the back which i thought was a waiting area but it was a small table which was low and expected to eat your food from. The guy who was serving us literally forgot us and was serving tables that came after us. Overall i would go back in the Summer but maybe to a different branch.
As always... Great Time at EL&N Brompton Road
Looking forward to coming back after lockdown
Really cute place, given a table right out of the way which was great, didn’t have any of the cakes we asked for which was pretty much all of them. Given a brownie which was nothing special. Also kids and parents were allowed to climb all over chairs and stand around taking pictures without supervision. Then no cleaning took place and another family was then seated at that table - overall would recommend but should’ve had all of the cakes considering they’re a cafe.
Really great time here with my partner on Friday, thank you very much for the excellent service. The food and drinks were delicious and we had a lovely time.
Overall we really enjoyed our visit to the Brompton road cafe.
My little girl saw the picture of the pink Turkish delight drink and had to have it, but she actually really enjoyed it.
Overall drinks and food was really nice, just slightly disappointed that it really isn't aimed at young children (totally get this) but my little girl and niece only wanted egg on toast but was charged at the price of eggs florentine as egg on toast is not on the menu, slightly more annoying when my little girl didn't touch a single bit of her meal (not the cafes fault at all) just a heads up for people that are looking to attend with children that are fussy
Great experience with friendly customer service :) also a lovely place to take photos.
Great service. Mustfa the waiter was so great made the whole experience fun! It was mine and my twin birthday and he surprised us with a cake and candle. Great food! Great customer service! Fantastic atmosphere!
Nice small cafe. Great service. Staff knew the menu well and was very good with recommendations. What we ate was lovely. However price is okay, slightly overpriced. The restaurant could be warmer, we were a bit cold sat there with the door constantly opening and closing
After requesting a nice table/booth via email before the day as this was a special occasion for my daughters 18th birthday we were seated in probably the worst table in the cafe! After requesting an alternative we were moved to the back (pink area) which was nicer... just would have been nice to be offered this in-the first instance not having to request this!!! Rather disappointing :( Very expensive too, 4 soft drinks and 4 slices of cake = £82.00!!!
I was so excited to visit this brunch! But my Experience eventually was .....Awful ! The worst shakshuka I ever had, so sweet I couldn’t even eat it! 🤢 The waiter didn’t even bother to ask me why I didn’t Touch my food....asked for a bottle of water, never receive it.They made me feel unwelcome...just Waste of money and time!
Didn't have any of the food we wanted.
Took forever to get served.
My brothers chicken burger came out PINK and the waiter said 'it looks like that sometimes'....chicken should never be pink. EVER.
We were the only ones in the 'sweetie' room and were left for over half an hour with empty drinks, and food just left on the table. No one came and asked if we wanted anything else etc, and no one even came over to give us the bill, so in the end we just up and went and then got asked to pay at the till.
Awful service and completely overrated. I would not recommend.
The service was amazing the food was more than you expect the portions was amazing and it’s really pretty place.
Service was good. The food was awful:-( of over 30 and a foodie don't bother.
Would never ever go again. Ever.
Pretty cafe, but lacking a real vibe as it's very sterile feeling! Service and food are average but well presented to add a sense of something special. Cakes are good, but those and the drinks are overpriced. You pay a lot for the name, but this particular location doesn't have the wow factor of the other venues.
Food wasn’t great
Overpriced and overrated
Decor untidy and in need of repair (Brompton road)
Toilets not great
Really not what we expected
Really not impressed
Wouldn’t go again EVER
Waste of money in total £40 for a cake a pancake which was more like a Yorkshire pudding ... and 2 fraps..
I have mentioned everything while booking but still we havnt got no options for us. No cakes atol. Shame
Went for birthday brunch and it did not disappoint. As a latte lover I wish I could have tried all the fancy lattes they had to offer!! And the red velvet cake would 100% recommend
Cakes where extremely cold and the flavour wasn’t the best, the hot drinks weren’t hot enough, it’s way too expensive and the staff where a bit antipathic, specially the woman who was looking after us, can’t remember the name. Also, they gave us a really small table when we were 4, we couldn’t even place the plates cause there were no space.
Good atmosphere and excellent customer service
The Cauliflower was so delicious. I want to return and try all the recipes. 😋
Man in black at the door wasn't very welcoming, first thing he said was, you must wear your mask! We noted that apart from the staff no one else was wearing masks, once we sat down we took them off, and were never asked to put them back on even when the same man took our payment at the end.
He tried to seat us in the boring cafe area, but we asked if we could go through to the room with the sweetie wall, they weren't busy, so he let us have a table for 4, even though we were 3. Took about 30 minutes for them to take our order but didn't mind as we were taking pictures.
Waiter took our orders for drinks and food without writing anything down, impressive! He even changed a coffee that was too strong, he was great. Food arrived in good time and everything had a little flower in them, drinks and food. Very pretty presentation. Could have done with a little more seasoning, no salt and pepper on the table. So if you like spice, bring some in your handbag.
Music was upbeat and added to the playful pink atmosphere. When we went to pay I didn't want to pay the service charge as was put off by man in black, I was going to give the waiter a tip instead, but the man in black took the service charge from our cards anyway without saying anything.
All in all we enjoyed ourselves and want to try another venue next time as a treat.
Ordered chicken on pink waffle. Chicken wasn’t cooked inside and it was pink had to ask for replacement. I meant to receive £20 pre-topped gift card as stated on their ig page. Did not happen. Server wasn’t wearing any face covering during half of my visit.
A bit tired and didn’t live up to the hype. Don’t tell me to post on Instagram. Be Instagram worthy by offering amazing food and experience.
This place is so cute and scenic and totally instagram worthy! The downsides are the foods and drink are quite experimental and extremely expensive. You really do pay for the aesthetic.
Really great place! The aesthetic alone is a reason to go and as I went for brunch the food was good. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Do not bother it aws over priced, we where seated then sat for 30 mins with no acknowledgement form the staff, we then walked out.
