It was our third visit, highly recommend! Great food and lovely cocktails.
Great food and service all night. Food was amazing and arrived quickly.
Lovely as always, can’t fault anything
Following a very enjoyable lunch a couple of weeks ago, we returned for another lunch and have to say it was terrific. It’s a lovely place, staff very helpful and friendly, and food terrific! Highly recommended to anyone who likes Tapas, or just good food.
Relaxing friendly atmosphere, lovely food and sangria
We when there at lunch Time 4 of us and the four we received was ok not much flavour compared to the other tapas restaurant we went too
Which was disappointing
No sure if would return
Really enjoyed our visit, Fantastic food and attentive staff
Tapas and sangria was amazing, will be back again !
Fabulous friendly service in well designed surroundings and even better food. We went for the lunchtime 3 tapas for £10 and it was great value. We’ll be back soon!
Delicious food and great customer service as usual!
Lovely restaurant. I visited with a friend on a Friday evening. We order around 6 or 7 different tapas dished and snagria. The food was excellent, so tasty! The service was also brilliant - friendly staff and the food came out very quick. I will definitely return :)
Wonderful choice of food, portion sizes weren't too large and everything came quickly. Service was very attentive and welcoming.
Nice food and lovely decor, will defo be back soon😁
We had a lovely lunch here today , not the first time I have been and won’t be the last . Great atmosphere, staff and food... would definitely recommend
A lovely surprise to have on your doorstep!..👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
Great service, delicious food. Highly recommended the Sangria too. Good value for money for quality food.
Always a great experience, food delicious, staff professional and friendly. Atmosphere is buzzing. Best Tapas in the uk! Highly recommend- try the cocktails!!
Great meal, really enjoyed it. Slightly on the expnsive side but good food quality!
The biscoff cheesecake was very tasty and the cocktails were very good!
The lady who served our food was very attentive and we felt well looked after.
Paella was slightly dryer than expected but the flavour there.
All in all a pleasant evening.
The Spanish omelette tasted a bit greasy, never tasted like this before.
Think ambience could be improved by background music. Authentic Spanish again
Love your restaurant, your staff are fabulous and it’s great value. I’ll be back
Amazing food, as always. Great service and well organised. Love everything about this restaurant. Went with 3 friends who have never been before, and they all loved it
Bit more choice would be nice. Service great though
Lovely food and attentive staff. Love coming back time and again to this restaurant.
Great place to meet, eat and chat, wouldnt say it was for romance, maybe a first date!
Staff were very attentive and the food was great! The mocktails were also a hit! Will be visiting again in the near future.
Good food, good service, good beer, nice relaxing atmosphere
Lovely food. Great service from Maria. We will be back
In short: gangbanging Spanish cuisine with surprise Bukkake at the end.
The long version:
The culinary version of having sex in an elevator in Magaluf. The food is appalling, the croquettes are frozen, really low quality. The chorizo al vino, prawns with garlic, mushrooms are sweet! I mean... like if they added sugar syrup to them. Then there are other dishes, that aren't Spanish at all, like fried halloumi and hummus? I just don't get it... there are 2 Turkish restaurants in the High Street, is it really that necessary that they have that in the menu? Then there are dishes that are simply an equivalent to jumping to the swimming pool from the 5th floor of your all inclusive hotel, completely drunk at 11 am: costilla de dinosaurio (translates as dinosaur rib), what on earth is that? An attempt to bring stand up comedy to a restaurant menu? Others like chicken with honey or tomato meatballs, are simply not rightly cooked. Don't get me wrong, I like when chefs try to innovate with traditional recipes, but one thing is Barrafina's chef creating a new dish like their cuttlefish with ink sauce, that takes a very simple, traditional dish and makes something interesting, to this abomination of literally fried chicken strips with drizzled honey! Or the meatballs... my goodness, they aren't any better to canned meatballs.
All the above take me to the next level, the Spanish Omelette. It is like if the chef was in a worse al crusade to bring the best of a fish and chips on the Paseo Maritimo in Torrevieja. He does a great job at that. If I was the Spanish ambassador in the UK I would personally ban him from ever cooking tortilla, I have seen worst! But this one is in my top 10 of the worst tortillas.
The wine list is like a snow white Brit laying in the sun, without sunscreen for 12 hours drinking San Miguel, unnecessary. All wines are bad. There isn't a single good choice, better drink beer.
The decor is nice though.
Always enjoy lunching at this restaurant, staff very friendly, great atmosphere and food.
