As far as the food is concerned you have here an intelligent combination of traditional Spanish food (paella, many kinds of seafood, chorizo sausage, aubergines… ) And all-time favourite handmade gourmet burgers and pasta for the younger crowd.
We had to constantly prompt the staff for service; they forgot our drinks and brought the wrong food out twice. This would’ve been forgivable if it was busy in the restaurant but it wasn’t for the amount of staff they had on. Disappointing, as we like to support local business
Favourite restaurant in London! Will come back time and time again.
Amazing food and felt like we were on holiday!!! Couldn’t recommend more
Incredible value for money. Excellent food and service. Would recommend and return
Overall a huge disappointment, a group of my friends and I were looking forward to this meal. Unfortunately we were continuously disappointed by the food and service of staff. The food was made with poor quality of ingredients, the tapas dishes were mostly over/under cooked, some dishes were not made with the intention of sharing (as you would expect them to be in tapas). After we aired a concern with the paella in particular, the waitress could not understand us and preceded to get her manager who simply told us that we were wrong and the food was perfect. She refused to even fathom the idea that it was not perfect and certainly not fresh as the smell alone was appalling. The guitarist was wonderful however and added a beautifully authentic atmosphere to the restaurant that was unfortunately let down by the food and staff courtesy. I am sad to say that i will not be recommending this restaurant and will be sure to never return myself.
Good food, superb service! We are going next week, definitely recommend
El Metro is a fantastic place to go t and I have been going to it on and off over 7 years. Service is always excellent, Candelaria, who is in front of house, is always welcoming and efficient. Love going there.
Great food, great ambience would recommend ! The live music was an added bonus too.
Only ever come here for food on match days, normally dinner on a weeknight prior to the game. Althoguh this time let down upon arrival as we were told bookings don't exist on match days and this was cancelled. Obviously not the case. I've gone before without a booking and told it was reservation only. So not quite sure which they prefer. Fortunately as there were only two of us, a table was soon found outside under an array of heaters which surprisingly was more pleasant than being inside, even though it was freezing cold. More than made up by their quick service, amazing food and great value for money. Portion sizes are perfect for sharing.
Recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. We will be back with friends
My fabarite place after Chelsea football matches at Stamford bridge. Very close to Fulham Broadway station. I love their onion soup. Casual and friendly restaurant. Good value for money. They didn't accept card before, but they do now.
It was excellent. The stuff paying attention to the customers. We feel comfortable. The food was great! Live music as well. We will recomend this place to friends!
Really disappointed by the food, the smell in the restaurant smelt like a butchers shop, the restaurant was cold and empty with no atmosphere, and the lights kept blinking on and off, I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t visit again :s
Positives - the wine was pretty good.
Nothing special about the food. Nice people though!
Amazing food and ambiance. Friendly and attentive service
Loved everything about it from the decor, the choice of music playing to the attentive service. Authentic Spanish food like this, especially at these prices, is hard to find in London. My new fave local restaurant for sure.
Thank you for a pleasent evening. Good food and excellent recommendations from the menu!
Food quite expensive and small portions
Excellent service as always, highly recommend, authentic tapas
The food was not great for a so called local restaurant. Our jug of sangria was very watered down and the price of the food was not value for money.
Super as always!
We had a reservation for 11, thinking they closed at 12:30, but by the time we arrived before 11 they were closed
Had a selection of tapas here before going to a gig at Under the Bridge (10 walk away).
The tapas we choose were great and the price was average for London..Great location,we sat outside as it was a lovely evening.Great service aswell, attentive but not over the top.Would definitely go back again...
We love tapas but unfortunately the food here was very hit and miss and there was an incredibly long wait for some of the dishes (including a mixed salad !!) and we had finished our other dishes by the time these came out. The croquettas which are one of my favourites were overcooked, dry and really not good. Most disappointing. However, the service was charming and it was nice to sit outside and watch the world go by.
Very disappointing given other reviews. Food unexciting and service just OK. Nevertheless, it was quite busy but I din’t understand why it’s so popular.
It is so far our favourite Spanish place in west London for a nice tapas meal!
Super as always!
Super as always!
Great as always
Highly recommend Great tapas - good service good food good wine
Busy overpriced disappointing. Not somewhere I will book again.
Met up with friends. Really great tapas and fab service.
Cute place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. There's often has a live guitarist .
Tapas are the better option.
Been here several times before. Never had a bad meal. It was a bit quiet, as it was a Monday evening, but no complaints at all. A real genuine Spanish hot spot.
Delicious food and drink at a very reasonable price. Service was excellent and my husbands dietary requirements were catered for with no problem.
The food was bland and the service was okay. Very dissapointed with the food quality given reviews. Would never eat here again. The house red wine was good value and nice.
I've been here more than five times. Always visit after chelsea match. Great value.
We went to try this out on a Saturday night as a family. A lively restaurant with live Spanish guitar music with a traditional tiled interior. Good service, food is average, not as fresh as in Spain but it's common in most of the Spanish restaurants in London. Very watered down Sangria was a real disappointment. We would like to give a try again on a Sunday lunch, which could be less busy. Outdoor space looks lovely in summer.
Really disappointing experience. Whilst staff were attentive the food was absolutely awful. Dry and chewy chicken and squid which had little taste.
Felt like a real Spanish restaurant, well themed and had a guitarist strumming some tunes later on in the evening. Although, was pretty much on top of one couple which I cant imagine they were hugely happy with.
Food was generally excellent, we had around 2 tapas dishes each which was plenty. Would recommend the squid and paella for sure. Rather strangely a member of party had the crumble for dessert which was apparently the best he had ever had! So hats off to the chef or microwave....
Shared two jugs of Sangria which was fairly average, but always hit and miss.
Fairly well priced.
Would recommend for those looking for a relaxed but lively atmosphere alongside some homely tapas, rather than those looking for world class cuisine!
