Our standard is great, and we don’t do anything without passion. Over 60 years, we’ve learned a lot about Mexican food, like how not to mess it up.

They need to update their website because they did not honor my reservations that I made and told me over an hour wait. So I went to Islands instead.
Service was pretty slow, our server got my drink order wrong 3 different times and it was just a mango margarita on the rocks with a sugar rim

I love the service but unfortunately eating outside is a bit difficult because of the wind and food getting cold faster.
We dined for lunch with our granddaughter and was disappointed in the food. My flautas were supposed to be crispy and they were under cooked. I mentioned to the waiter when he stopped by. Guacamole, chips and salsa were good. My husbands enchiladas were nothing special. We were asked several times if we wanted to purchase your Margarita's in the bottle to go to drink at the table or purchase to take home. We mentioned we were not interested. We will give the restaurant another try when we are back in the area.
Only outside seating for now, when I arrived the host said, are you ok with the sun because that is all we have...then I saw there was about 7 tables open...sooo...then other people were requesting umbrellas, so why would I not be allowed the same instead if saying I would be in the sun? I asked for an umbrella to another employee and he happily brought one ( the sun was a bit strong that day), so this host needs training...food was ok, drinks were pretty good, Im giving it 3 stars because our server was very nice.
Just take out but you could eat outside! Why bother? Just plain sucked !
Upon arrival they didn't have a table ready for reservation because they were only doing take out. I scheduled a reservation at 11am for 5pm and no one bothered to call me and let me know they were only doing take out. We drove 30 minutes out to have dinner here so we ordered our food and sat outside. We were celebrating a special occasion so I asked if they were doing drinks and the hostess said only margaritas and beer, but someone before me was allowed to order a mojito? When we got out food it was kind cold, the margaritas were super over priced for the 4 oz of liquid we received. Just overall horrible experience this time around, sucks because I love this place. I won't be visiting again any time soon.
Thursday at 11:15am,had reservations for 11:45 am,but seated us right away,very polite,friendly.Very soon she took our drink,and appetizer orders,they came fairly quickly,then ordered lunch,very good,great service,we willgo back again as soon as the governor allows us.very pleasant experience.thank you
Great food and service
El Torito proved to be a great choice! I was in the area and made a quick reservation. I was seated outdoors in a private corner. The heat lamp felt so good! I was warm , cozy and treated well! Service was outstanding. I also enjoyed the meal. Everyone was happy with their plate. I will definitely come back soon!
Our experience overall was very disappointing. The food advertised was actually nothing close to what was served. Cold food and shortage of servers made the evening a complete flop. Being that it was Thanksgiving buffet at a 30 dollars per person absolutely not worth it.
Do not plan to come back.
Good food. Buffet but they served you and handed you plate. Very happy with their safety precautions. Seated outside by heater, little windy so food got cold quickly. Most patrons ordered takeout, only few of us at at restaurant.

I had made a reservation for two people for taco tuesday. Upon arrival the hostess said that the only available table was in front of the dj speaker, yet there was at least 10-13 tables open. Upon inquiring if we could sit somewhere else, she said that it would be 45 minute wait time.. despite our reservation. We went to korean bbq next door instead. When we passed by again, there was still the same, if not more, tables open.
We went on Sunday and the breakfast buffet was great.
I love the outdoor dining with a dj /music. The wait staff was very pleasant l! Definitely going back
I made a 11:30 reservation, we were on time but didn't get seated till 12:20.

My overall experience nice and definitely due to the server. I made a reservation early in the day for 6pm. I checked in with the host and come to find out they honor same day reservations. Which makes 0 sense because they should just block out same day reservations that way it doesn’t even lead you on. However once we got sat our server took exceptional care of us. She was so busy that night but managed to give us great service.

Great manager on shift , very helpful .. a little slow on food service .. but everything was GREAT !!!
Seating was nice, outdoor had a lot of shade for the warm day, food was good with short lines for brunch, but service was a little slow.

The waiting was not too long since I had a reservation. The food and environment was great, my parents loved it! The waitress was very attentive and followed the sanitary precautions. It was nice to go out, enjoy and feel safe! I will definitely go again
The food was great but the greeters in the front seems as if they didn't know what was going on. I had a reservation for two but we had to wait to be seated. It took about thirty minutes until we were seated. I believe this was only because I went to ask how much longer it was going to take.
Showed up at 7:17pm Made a reservation for 730 on open table and was told that we would have to wait for 35 minutes. The person said That they would try to accommodate us that it's hard to keep Up to date with the reservations. So we waited and still was not Called. Ended up going somewhere else.

El Torito is one of my favorite places to eat and drink some great beverages! The atmosphere is awesome too!
We were disappointed, remembering our pre-virus visits. The chicken was burned and dry. The tacos had large chunks of fat/suet. The guacamole was 1/3 the amount we remembered and cost more. To top it all off, there was a mysterious "surcharge" added to the bill. Not a very pleasant experience overall.
Made This reservation and they did not honor it. Then they took my name down with a FIFTY minute wait time. And i was never called for my table being ready. Horrible service. Expected more from them
