Although my reservation was at 9:15pm , I wasn’t seated until 9:35pm.
The service was very slow and my waiter wasn’t in tune at all . My sister ordered mini corn dogs on the kids menu and they came back frozen . I would t recommend this El Torito , especially around closing time

I made the reservation on line for two but called to make it for four and was told no problem,but on arrival was told it will be hour and half wait but when told for reservation host said as you changed so we don't have table available but she got convinced but after 15 minutes were put on the table on hawthorne bl side,two chairs were really at a place where it was windy and cold,ordered macho combo and two items fazita but quantity of portion of chicken and shrimps was very little.We have ask over and over again for salsa,they were busy beacause of valentime but could have offered better of everything,been going to this place for over 20 years,generally not much of a problem
My wife and I went for dinner with a 430 pm reservation. We were seated promptly and ordered our beverages then it went downhill from there. We ordered the fajita duo and asada burrito with no beans. People that came after us and ordered fajitas got theirs before us, the asada burrito DID have beans inside as well. Took a little over a half hour to get our food. When we were finishing our food we ordered dessert, sopillas and cheesecake. It took another 25 minutes for them to bring out dessert at this point we were ready to go and cancel dessert. Finally the manager was making rounds and we let him know we had been waiting and it was taking so long, he said he’d go check but just then our server came out with the dessert and the cheesecake was still almost frozen!!! My wife was so upset she didn’t even want to eat it. Normally the experience at this El Torito is great but this was absolutely horrible.
Great Sunday brunch buffet!
A very nice dining experience overall. Reservations were great, got seated right away, the food was pretty good. The covid restrictions were followed very closely and our waiter Ernesto was great. Would definitely do it again

We made reservations for dinner for 3 but upon arrival the hostess ignored us after we checked in and seated guests without reservations first. Not sure if this was due to her inexperience, confused or racial, because it appeared she was selecting who she wanted to seat. One of the waiters kept passing by and asked if we had been helped. We explained we had reservations and had been waiting 30 minutes, he immediately seated us and apologized.
I met up with a friend for happy hour we ordered the tacos as it was taco Tuesday we went in to select the tacos and it was horrible ! The steak looked old and dry looked like ground beef ! The pork was all dried up ! We decided to reorder the fajitas instead and they were cold when they got to the table ! Freezing outside no out door heaters at all horrible exp !

Excellent brunch and our server, Ernesto, was fantastic! He made sure our "bottomless" Mimosa's were just that! He kept them full every time he walked by and we never had to ask...Brunch was plentiful and delicious.
We were thrilled to find El Torito open for dine in. They had a tent set up in the back as well as some limited seating in the front. We requested the front and were quickly given a table. It was a great dining experience, with great service. Food was good as well.

Amazing brunch experience. They’re safety measures and Covid precautions exceeded my expectations . The outdoor patio dining was very comfortable, tables are far apart. I felt very safe and the food was fabulous. We will definitely be returning!
What a perfect anniversary dinner! Service was extraordinary and the food and drinks were fantastic!
Waiter kept forgetting about us. Didn’t check in that often. Needed the basics like napkins, silverware, refills and it took forever to get those things.
We ordered the family fajitas and aside from being cold the food was overcooked like it had been sitting for a long period of time and then reheated

The ambiance was so so. A bit messy but it was ok. They were out of Chile Relleno but the substitute was good. Our server was attentive and nice. Price was a bit expensive for the quality.
