My family and I recently visited Miami from New York. I had watched Guga's video on YouTube and decided to give El Toro Loco a try. BEST DECISON EVER. El Toro Loco is the real deal. The beef is top quality. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. All the steaks we ordered would've been right at home in a top quality steakhouse, but at El Toro Loco they were less than a third the price. The service was really good, too. Basically, my family was so impressed with the steaks at El Toro Loco that they treated me like a hero for bringing them there. Thank you Chef Aldo.

First time at an El Toro Loco, as a Guga YouTube fan, I was excited to eat here. But to be honest I felt the meals were underwhelming and lacking. The service and staff were very attentive, they definitely made up for my feelings about the meal. The room is attractive, found the cow skin seats a bit worn down, and could use a refresh. But the style was fun. Went for lunch with a business colleague, I asked for the Prime Picanha 1 lb with feijoda and rice and tostones. Asked for medium rare, the waitress asked if I wanted well or medium well, I said no medium rare. We had some appetizers to start, the Tuna and the Pork Belly. The tuna was the better of the two. Food arrived quickly and my meat came sliced thin and completely rare. Normally I can handle a little under medium rare but this was as if sliced cold and put on a plate. I told the waitress that it was too rare and if she could have them cook it a bit more. She was very polite, took the other sides of the plate and took the meat back. She came back quite quickly, with the meat arranged exactly the same and it was a ‘little’ more cooked but I wondered if it was put in a microwave and heated. That didn’t make me feel good. Felt lazy and half-hearted at correcting my request. The feijoda was just dark water with some black beans, not much, and a few pieces of stewed meat. As place with “Churrascaria” in their name, that was really disappointing. My friend ordered a 1 lbs of baby back ribs and he found the ribs dry but he did like his baked potato. Not a good feeling when the bake potato was the best part of the meal. We both left underwhelmed by our meals. Felt like the social media hype was essentially an advertisement for this place and didn’t live up to anticipated excitement. Maybe we both ordered the wrong items from the menu, but I would hesitate to recommend this place. I think value-wise, a pay-one-price all you care to eat Brazilian Churrascaria is a much better value. Sorry.
