Elsie rooftop was overall amazing. I went for Mother’s Day and the food, music, drinks, and atmosphere were 10/10. I highly recommend and I will absolutely be going back this summer. Can’t wait to try the frosé next time :)
The views were great. The ambiance was cool. But the service was very bad: server just did not care for us, barely stopped by and our last food and drink order never came.
Glad we went; will probably never go again.
Super nice interior design and bar area, however no view whatsoever- food is limited - our focaccia and hummus were great. Sliders super dry and guac tasteless. Final line- go for a beautiful bar area & don’t expect any rooftop worthy view.
Server was awful and unpleasant. Worst customer service dining out
Weak, overpriced drinks. Overpriced food. The atmosphere inside is gorgeous, but our “rooftop” table didn’t even have a smidge of daylight to be seen. Some of the other tables would have been nice, but I would not consider this a rooftop bar.
Loved it. Host was very kind, great service. Will definitely recommend others!
The Guacamole was great !!! ,beef slider very good too and the flat bred pizza was good too
Service was good. There’s just not a lot of seating in the outdoor area. If you’re in a large party, you get seated at a nice long couch with cushions. For small parties, you get to sit on a bench that leaves barely any room for you to sit or a choice of the 2 not so comfortable metal high tops. Rooftop was ok.
I would have liked the quality of the food to be better. I believe the beverages could have been better also. The service was fantastic. Overall, not a bad experience.
Service was terrible, server continuously rolled her eyes and a manager never arrived.
Was a amazing place❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for your serviced
Boring and not worth it, they sat us in the back room (no rooftop) which felt like a storage room. Plastic martini glasses for $18 cocktails, never asked if we needed more food, or if we liked the drinks. $250 tab for nothing.
I was really excited to visit this location but I was honestly not impressed by it. The food quality for the price is ridiculously and the drinks were nothing top notch my teenager could have mixed up something better. There is also a minimum limit of $90 tab per table. Would I recommend this place or be going again? No I don’t think so. It’s cute and a like nice vibe and that’s about there is all to it. Disappointed.
They has clearly well overbooked their reservations because every person in the line for the elevator was clearly agitated and confused why they could not go upstairs to claim their table. We waited in line for 40 minutes past our reservation time before we were allowed upstairs. Once upstairs and seated our waitress told us that we better order everything we wanted at once because we wouldn’t see her again for 30 minutes. Not to mention the majority of their rooftop isn’t even outdoors, it’s completely covered on most sides. Menu is small but food was fine. Overall bad service and the employees didn’t seem to care
Reservation was at 715. We were told we had to still wait on line in the lobby until 735 because no tables were available. Why take reservations if you’re going to fill the place ? Finally got upstairs to BLARING music and was offered a table directly next to the front door. Sat for another 15 mins without being helped. Finally asked for service and the nicest waitress came over (she’s the only reason I’m giving more then 1 star) took another 20 mins to get our drinks and we were told they were understaffed. Understandable we’ve all been through tough times this year but don’t open your place back up and try and have a certain persona and miss the mark in every single way. Our waitress was a doll and I felt horrible she was running around with her head cut off because there was only three of them for the entire place. My drink also came with something in it that wasn’t listed on the menu. You need to advertise your items correctly
We booked an outdoor table for after work meeting and upon arrival were told that outdoor tables were fully booked and escorted us back to an indoor location. Not cool especially during this time of covid. Received attitude from
Host when I mentioned we had booked outdoor table. Food was overpriced and waited 20 minutes for a waitress. Wil not return
One of the rooftops that, thankfully, is open during the pandemic, with nice views and ceilings in case it rains. The ambiance is great; however, it is mostly a bar, so the food is not their forte (desserts are delicious though), but the dishes are costly for what they are—very little food for a lot of money. Anyway, you are paying more for the place than for what you are actually consuming.
The service was ok. The server barely checked on us. We had to start flagging other servers down for more water or drinks. The music was extremely loud it was hard to have a conversation. The hummus wasn’t red pepper it was just regular hummus.
The vibe was just like any other run of the mill rooftop in Manhattan. I was expecting a much more refined vibe, but the music was blaring and the drinks came in plastic cups. The waitresses (we had 2) and the host were noticeably fake friendly, and the high top were sat at first was unstable and placed under the speaker. We moved to a bench that was no more the a foot wide, the whole experience was uncomfortable. And all this was with a reservation.. Not what I was expecting after seeing this rooftop advertised on idktonight and what is shown on Instagram. It was like a day club which is totally fine but not what is advertised.
Customer Service was Bad. The Food and Beverages are not good as well. The Drinks a water down. Overly priced. I don't mind spending money if the Food and Drinks are worth it. The only nice thing about this rooftop is the rooftop itself. Other than that, it's not worth it. I would not recommend it.
Soooo underwhelming. The food was awful, drinks were ok. Came for a great view and didn’t know you had to have special reservations to sit near a window or outside on the rooftop part.
We had a great time and liked the vibe. Our server was great.
The cocktails were great and the food was just right.
Best waiter in my life. I want to put a diamond ring on her.
This is a beautiful space to hang out with friends or a date and enjoy both delicious food and great music. The only downside was feeling a bit rushed out the door as courses finished— we wanted to buy more drinks but didn’t feel that welcome so we continued the night elsewhere. However, the small plates were incredible and this is a perfect ambience for weeknight chill or weekend fun.
Went for drinks and desert, must say the sunset drink is amazing will go back for more and the hot toddy. Now the desert not too great need more options lava molted cake hard no lava and tirumasu was bland. The ambiance and staff are very sweet and welcoming and this rooftop is beautiful entertainment on a Sunday brunch was awesome burlesque girls.
I loved every minute of it! Such a beautiful place
Ambience was amazing, drinks were great
The place is very cool with nice music to dance too and great service but the drinks are average, nothing special.
View was not as expected and drinks were pricey (as expected) - but still enjoyed our time!
I had aN awesome time. Enjoyed the drinks and the Bamboleo performance. I would go back.
There’s isn’t enough Stars
The sliders were great. I enjoyed the live band performance.
Really perfect spot to catch some sun and or the sunset with close friends with classy refreshing cocktails.
The waitress accidentally charged a $300 bill onto my friend’s card.
Great views and beautiful decor! Try the Basil Bellini, you won't be disappointed!
Great plans for cocktails. Food is not so good. For 2 people difficult to get a nice table! They give us table outside I really did not like it. is not a good one ! If you want to seat inside in main area must to came with a big company. We spend $300 for 2 people.
I was charged $16.00 for guacamole that I didn’t ask for nor wanted. I was told I had to order food when I ordered drinks. I’m very disappointed in the service.
Great night with friends. Food drinks and their JF Haden’s mango drinks were amazing.
Amazing food and drinks. Ambience was great with the live band playing..will be returning!
