Fantastic meal - service was excellent too , thanks Keelin for another lovely Christmas Eve lunch! (Hope I’ve spelled it right!!)

Decor was just lovely, Scandinavian Christmas feel. Very comfortable with covid guidelines, well separated and all wearing face masks. We had been to Ely for coffee and cakes often but hadn’t had the chance to get dinner before now. Dinner was delicious, I had the special Sole and my partner the steak, which was perfectly cooked. I didn’t get the name of the waitress, but we were sitting upstairs early Friday evening the 18th of December- she made the evening all the better, so friendly and really knew her stuff food and wine wise. Really lovely evening all over!

Had a boozy Christmas lunch with 3 friends. We had buttermilk crispy chicken burger and hamburgers which were fresh and delicious. Got recommended a beautiful Austrian Sauvignon blanc which we got more to bring home. Very friendly staff. Very pleasant experience.

I ate in Ely last Friday evening with three friends. Everything was amazing, the food, staff and ambiance. Will be returning again soon. Highly recommend 😁😁

Such a lovely experience as always with Ely. I felt so safe at all times, there was loads of room between us and other table next to us. The food was outstanding and the waiter was so helpful and knowledgable about the wine.

The staff were lovely - you could tell they were smiling even though they had facemasks on. They had a good knowledge of the food and wines available.

Booked for 6 +baby. Table set for 5. In fairness they accomadated splitting to 2 tables. Menu very limited. Board not updated. Good for lunch not so good for dinner. Girl serving did her best.

Had a wonderful meal and excellent service. Selection of wine is great as well as their non alcoholic wine selection which is a nice welcome to having a soft drink for a driver.

Very intimate setting with great ambience. Food quality was superb with just the right mix of herbs & spices. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely time at the ELY wine bar, our first night out for dinner since March. Outdoor seating was great as we got to people watch and enjoy the last of the good weather, and the food of course was delicious. Friendly service, good food; what more could you need? :)

We had a lovely lunch at Ely. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was complemented by the buzzy atmosphere and good service. This is a lovely restaurant in the heart of Maynooth - will definitely be back.

Food was excellent, only disappointment was the dessert and that was the presentation as opposed to the dessert itself .

Fantastic value for lunches and brilliant service. The wine choice was the best i had come across on the menu in a long time. Nice to know in future we cam also select wine from the shop and pay corkage to have it with our meal. Look forward to returning.

Ely is a diamond in the crown of jewels that is the Maynooth restaurant scene. The food is delicious, the wine list extensive, the service impeccable. I highly recommend. I will be going back!

Lovely evening, Lamb main dish was delicious. Cooked perfectly. Prawn and calamari started light and ideal.

4 of us shared a number of small bites and startes and a couple of bottles of wine. The food was amazing. A really lovely mix of plates to enjoy and the wine was delicious! The staff were excellent too. Cant wait to go back.
