    Nice environment and atmosphere. Service was excellent. Had vegan sharing platter to start which would have been better with a bit more bread as there was a lot of dips. We had Gnocchi for main which was outstanding!

    Amazing staff, so helpful and friendly every time, really a highlight. Food is delicious and not expensive. Beautiful surroundings, romantic and quiet. We had a toddler and they were really accommodating. Kids menu is good, not just standard chicken nuggets. Disabled access through front door with everyone else (rather than a weird side ramp) so feels natural, and lots of space for a wheel chair to maneuver inside. Didn't use the toilets but assume it will be available as disabled door open buttons everywhere.

    Our second visit within the space of a week this time around very disappointing served very Luke warm wine waitress hovering over us all the time felt very uncomfortable food disappointing steak tasted like it was cooked from frozen

    Fabulous meal and staff when we went on Sunday for dinner then we had breakfast there Monday morning food was lovely however the coffee was cold and when the waitress took are empty plates they also took are full glasses of juice away which we had not finished

    We made a last minute booking here before a gig at The Arena. They had a good choice of dishes on the menu and the restaurant had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food was lovely and service was good!

    Great choice of food on the menu and really good provision for vegetarians and vegans too. Outstanding taste and presentation of the meals and a great selection of drinks; cocktails, beers and wines. The restaurant is really nice and the standard of fittings very good. There was a little delay in bringing some of the drinks, but overall the experience was exceptional for a city centre restaurant.

    Just went for a bite to eat before an event at the AO arena. This is just a quick walk away from the Arena. It was smaller than I had imagined but it was still pleasant decor. My son had the prawn linguine I just had a pizza both were pleasant enough meals. The service was good and waitresses were as attentive as they would need to be for a quick visit

    The food was really nice, my kids and I enjoyed our dinner. It’s definitely a next time dinner place for us. We will try the main menu next time as we did from the mother day special. It was absolutely amazing.

    Firstly the food and drinks were outstanding, no complaints there what so every. The young lady who served us was very polite and attentive to our needs. However the male who attended to us a few times, who I assume was somewhat of a manager was the only thing we didn’t like about our experience. He was awfully miserable and negative. He was quite rude and arrogant towards us and even to his staff in front of us which we actually think he did on purpose so we could hear. We were nothing but thankful and had no complaints so it’s a shame we were treated like that from him. For that reason we will not be returning.

    Disappointing. Steak was over cooked as was replacement. Fries were undercooked. Creamed spinach was like soup. Overall very disappointing experience. And staff nonchalant about poor service. Reluctantly paid £10 service charge but would not book again despite convenience of staying in citysuites apartments.

    My burger was undercooked and raw in parts. I returned it to the kitchen who "cooked" me a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement was even worse than the initial burger. I heard the chef say " just don't charge them for it" The waitress offered for me to choose something else, but my this time my husband had finished his meal so it didn't seem worth the extra wait. We were disappointed as the previous reviews for this restaurant were good .

    Fantastic food in a fantastic restaurant! We stayed in Manchester to watch the football and booked this at the last minute! We couldn’t have been happier, the meals were excellent quality ( I had the burger which I can honestly say is the best I’ve eaten in a long while. The meat was super tasty and you can tell it was home made as the patty wasn’t just a uniform shop bought size). My son wanted plain pasta with butter, which they were more than happy to accommodate (so you could tell it was freshly made as lots of restaurants would only just give you the pasta with sauce already made up). We can’t wait to stay in Manchester again so we can return! The staff were also very friendly and Elivia served us on her first day and was lovely! If anybody is looking for a restaurant with great food, a lovely atmosphere and plush interior I suggest you visit the Embankment Kitchen! 5 star all round

    Very quick service and the staff are very friendly. The food was incredible and the drinks were lovely. We had the King Prawn Linguine, Olives and to drink we had the Strawberry Smash Nojito and the French Kiss alcohol free cocktails. The staff made us feel very welcome and Emma was our lovely waitress for the evening.

    The lady working in the kitchen was shouting SERVICE every two minutes was really off putting and ruined the overall vibe of the restaurant! Would have enjoyed a lot more if there was less shouting coming from the kitchen

    We had a wonderful meal with the Valentine’s Day set menu. Delicious food and attention to detail, felt like great value for the price. Serving staff were friendly and attentive and the decor was lovely. Only two minor niggles which were that the table was a bit small to accommodate food, drinks, drinks menu and candles/decoration - we ended up stowing our bottle of water on the floor underneath. And that the dining chair was quite small and a bit uncomfortable. If you’re of bigger build you’d need to sit in the sofa side of the table. But overall a really lovely meal - wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

    We had the Valentine’s Day special, which was £38 per head. Excellent value for money. I tried several dishes I’d never had before and the dessert was beautiful! The ambiance is fantastic. Music in the background was quiet enough to be able to heed, yet have a chat. My only small criticism was I felt like we were being rushed slightly. It seemed to me that as soon as our food was finished the waiter was loitering around to collect plates and then he returned and rather awkwardly stood nearby as if we were going to ask for the bill. Sadly we still had Prosecco left. Also, probably a very minor thing, too, was that our starter arrived before our drinks and they were all ordered at the same time. Usually drinks arrive then food… All in all I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I’d definitely return and definitely recommend the restaurant to family and friends
