Such a great restaurant. Went here with a group 5 and we all loved the food. Great setting, great food and very good vines. Highly recommend if your in the area.
Nice vibe and colourful tasty food!
Food was excellent although some of the portion sizes were a little strange. For example, the courgette flower came as a single flower between two. I would have preferred it being a couple of pounds more expensive with a second flower. Atmosphere is very good. When booking I would try and avoid the seats around the kitchen as unlike other tapas restaurants it is not the focal point of the restaurant. Service is good but you can find yourself chasing after a waiter. All in all a very good experience but could easily be excellent.
A fairly last minute booking and wasn’t sure what to expect, but loved this little place! I’m always a little cautious with tapas .. expecting greasy , fatty dishes (oily potatoes, oily chorizo ), but the food was delightful & exceeded expectations! We had one small issue with a flat Cava . However they replaced this immediately without a fuss. The service was good - all servers were very friendly and attentive. Overall we had a fabulous meal and will return.
We had a great evening at Ember Yard. The mix of Italian and Spanish tapas was interesting and very tasty. Great waiter who knew a lot about the food and made a good wine recommendation.
We absolutely LOVED the food, and the service was excellent. Never without water or a drink, and the food came out quick and hot. Brilliant all round - loved it!
As always, fantastic food and lovely place to sit and have lunch with friends
Food and service were both excellent. The wine was disappointing and need to keep their high end red wines at RT.
Really tasty food and great variety menu. Service could have been more attentive as they were only 50% full with diners.
My friend and I had a 4 course menu which had lots of different plates within. This included an unlimited prosecco and wine deal on the Sunday. The restaurant was quite chilly, a few other people hadn't taken their coats off and I took mine off and suffered because it's feels odd to sit in a restaurant with your coat on. I didn't go crazy with the unlimited drinking and had 2 glasses of prosecco, 1 white and 1 red. They could improve on the topping up situation before your glass goes dry and then you have to catch the eye of a waiter. It's a shame to enjoy only half a plate of food with wine.
However saying that I would go again and would ask them at the start of the meal if they could be observant of the liquid levels and wear a double layer of jumpers.
The food was very good.
The only issue we had with our experience:
We made a booking online for 9pm and got there 15 min early - we were asked to come back as there was no bar seating available. They actually suggested we go to the pub next door however there was no room due to sports event on TV ... It was a very cold night in London!!
When we did come back we were seated right near the exit door. My husbands chair was partially in the doorway with a terrible draft throughout our time there.
Great food although a bit over priced. Best for a special occasion as the ambience is lovely.
Great food and service. Sat downstairs and was a bit quiet so limited atmosphere. But overall would definitely recommend. Our server was lovely. Very attentive but also low key.
Great food - beautifully presented and fab service.
Excellent Basque tapas. I'd been to their sister restaurants Salt Yard and Dehesa before, so was expecting good things and was not disappointed. Will defo be back.
We went on a date night but the vibes were relaxed yet upbeat - would actually be really good for a group of friends as well. The recommendation by the waiter to get the Iberico presa was fantastic, as was the mackerel, hake, corgette flower and grilled delica pumpkin. We could have gone without the flat bread which was recommended by the waiter. Dessert of cheesecake and coffee cake was also delicious. Great food and vibes! Just a touch on the pricey side though.
Spectacular! The food was amazing.. there were six of us and between us we had the pleasure of sampling a great variety of dishes and they were all delicious. The staff were delightful.. attentive, friendly and helpful. It wasn’t a cheap lunch but worth every penny and we will definitely be back.
Fantastic food! Great service!
Not what I expected
Reserved a table at 9pm but Maybe I've booked wrong time so I was given we want to go home service *
Fantastic Tapas style food .The larger plates of pork with apple and sliced steak are ideal for sharing and really lovely. I loved the courgette flowers. Good for late night after theatre.
I could not fault the staff or the service and to be honest the quality of the food was good. My main issue was portion size and although it is a Tapas “small plates” menu it didn’t offer value for money
There is a great choice of dishes and food was delicious. The wine we chose was also excellent.
In all, we were very happy with our evening.
Great ambiance, friendly and attentive service. Food was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Good wine list and spanish and italian beers.
Gorgeous food and great service, the perfect place for a birthday lunch :-)
Fantastic food, great modern dishes of tapas. Great menu and lovely service. Very nice atmosphere, would highly recommend. Croquettes were amazing!
Outstanding in every way,the food, the wine, the staff and the atmosphere.
I am delighted to have found Ember Yard and will definitely return! We were wowed by our stunning and delicious aperitif cocktails, then bowled over by the quality of the food and wine served to us. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and part of a great evening with great friends.
I highly recommend Ember Yard. Myself and my family went there for an afternoon booking (3pm) and found the atmosphere, food, and staff to be really great. It’s not super cheap but the food is worth it. We spent £37 each between 4 people including a bottle of wine and were very happily full.
Food was a little disappointing but overall a nice restaurant.
Great food and setting. Tapas was perfect for the business meeting that I set up.
Great service, lovely but not too loud. Romantic. Would recommend!
The Spanish Ham and the Manchego cheeses with Quince were exceptional . Would go back just for these. Very good service.
Delicious food! there's a reasonable amount of choice on the menu but all food we tried was delicious, the only thing I would say is that some of it was served a bit too far apart, would have been worth waiting for 2/3 to be ready to serve at once. But service was great too and drinks selection too.
Good food in general, different type of tapas but it's a bit pricey for what you get.
Excellent food, quick attentive service and very good value. Would go again.
Small plate for a big price. They will add 12.5% tip and 1 GBP donation to the bill.
