Emilia's Crafted Pasta - St Katharine Docks
At Emilia’s all our pasta is made fresh every morning in full view of passers-by and served from our fully open kitchen, combining the warmth and welcome of an Italian kitchen with the theatre and passion behind our pasta.
When the weather permits we also have al fresco dining on our terrace overlooking the yachts in the Docks which we do not take reservations for (tables for this are available on a walk in only basis).
Our restaurant has a mixture of chef’s table bar counter seating, window seating, casual seating, tables and an outdoor area. For any specific requirements please call us.
Exceptional service, food and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Authentic and genuine - pity that the portions are smallish so you may end up having to get a second plate but otherwise a safe bet if you’re looking for a great Italian pasta place in London.
Great staff! Food was good and well priced. Portions may be too small for some but service was lovely and food was wonderful.
Fantastic food, setting and lovely staff. Very enjoyable lunch
The restaurant has a cosy ambiance. The service and food was excellent. The counter overlooking the dock is beautiful
Good quality food and good service recieved. I will be back for sure.
Had the most lovely meal in a beautiful setting - the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. Would 100% recommend Emilia’s.
Good food but the ambience and location is amazing - lovely!
Great food as usual. Limited menu but what they do have is excellent.
Delicious pasta, great location and lovely staff
Very intimate and cute location. Would recommend it for dates as well as for a quick bite to eat that isn't to spenny.
The food is amazing and the location great - though it is a little bit overpriced :)
Fourth time at this restaurant and still amazing pasta!
Excellent hidden gem overlooking the docks and handmade pasta
Really enjoyed it. We were 6 of us and all the pastas were really good
Authentic Italian food at attractive prices for London and for such a pleasant setting. I only wish Chef would learn how to make Tiramisu though, so that it can be added to a dessert menu that did not appeal to me personally.
Very good italian restaurant !! Don't forget to book in advance if you want to have the opportunity to taste their delicious pastas
Although the food was nice, service was way off.
1. Got dumped in the corner with the wall for a view, 30cm away from my face.
2. Close the door so we don’t have to see the dishwasher being constantly loaded and unloaded.
3. Is it not custom to have a new knife and fork after the starter. The gent who cleared our table, took the dirty knife from the starter and dumped it down in front of us.
Emilia's pasta is fantastic quality authentic Italian pasta. The service, value for money and atmosphere were all perfect. The only reason I gave it 4 stars not 5 was the state of the toilets. They are round the back of the building along, an empty corridor and there's supposed to be a keypad entry but the lock was completely missing. I felt quite unsafe there, cut off from the restaurant and the outside world. Also, the toilets were in a bad state - one was out of order and the other that I used had no seat. It was like using a nasty public toilet that is never cleaned or maintained.
The best pasta and green beans I have ever tasted. Staff are amazing.
Overall we had a very nice dinner and the pasta was delicious.
Food was simple but excellent.
The only problem I had was booking with OpenTable. I wanted to change the booking from 3 to 5 people several days before we were due to eat, but the OpenTable booking app would not let me. I also tried calling the restaurant and emailing them, but I got no response so maintained original booking. However when we were there, the table next to us was free so we would have been able to increase the size of our group. This is annoying and should be resolved, but the problem is with the booking process and not the meal itself.
Both pasta dishes lacked salt. Overpriced for the quality of food served.
Great food, great location. It's cool with a touch of Italian style and class.
Amazing place and the food was delicious! I will come back!!
Great food good prices and the staff were super helpful when i need to add extra people to my booking and they organised holding a birthday cake for a few days before we arrived
Very nice atmosphere for a casual dinner. The burrata starter was really nice and the walnut main was delicious! One thing I would say is that you have to like al dente pasta to like the food. Luckily I love it!
Lovely fresh food, quick and efficient service and lovely location.
Pasta lika mamma used to make! What a find - sitting overlooking the dock eating fabulous pasta and enjoying delightfully friendly service. Highly recommended.
Delicious as ever with helpful and friendly service.
Great location, we sat outside and was like being on holiday with all the swanky boats. Very helpful staff, good service. Food was delicious!!
Excellent food and wine, as always
Delicious food, great location, and staff are helpful and friendly.
Excellent location but quite a small place. Would go again but only if in the area wouldn’t make a special trip to go back as not that different food wise to any other pasta place.
As an Italian I always avoid pasta places in order to avoid disappointments,
but this time i got a very pleasant surprise with Emilia's crafted pasta : amazing flavours and al dente cooked pasta.
Prices more than affordable and very friendly staff
Will definitely go back
Nice location, nice food and reasonably priced, maybe not worth going out your way for but definitely worth it if you need to eat in this area.
Gorgeous little place. We arrived early evening when it was relatively quiet and sat inside, the staff kindly moved us outside once a table freed up. The staff were attentive and friendly, even when it got much busier they handled the pressure well. Food was quick to come out, fresh and delicious. Especially the burrata and cream mushroom and walnut pasta. Wine was well prices and enjoyable. Sitting outside next to the water topped everything off perfectly. We will be back, thank you!
They make pasta that you can eat without sauce. Yes, It's that good. However, they also make sauces that you cannot resist. From starter to dessert, it is just perfect.
RIght there with some of the best pasta dishes on offer in London.
Fantastic place for lunch or dinner. Delicious food, freshly made on site with interesting specials and a reasonable wine choice. Place is tiny so book ahead although the seats around the window are perfect for 2 or eating alone and watching the world (and boats) on the dock. Third visit this time and never disappointed - it would be good to have a few more specials at lunchtime as the menu doesn't change but then it's all so good (definitely have the Burrata to start!) I am happy to have the same each time.
