Emilia’s SKD is a fresh pasta restaurant located in the heart of St Katharine Docks with a beautiful al fresco dining terrace overlooking the marina, just a few minutes’ walk from Tower Bridge.

At Emilia’s all our pasta is made fresh every morning in our restaurant in full view of passers-by and served from our fully open kitchen. In true respect of Italian tradition, we use certified Italian produce and try our best to ensure no additives, artificial ingredients, preservatives or anything unnatural is in our food. We believe that food is much better when it’s 100% natural.

Our restaurant has a mixture of chef’s bar/counter seating (overlooking the open kitchen), window seating (overlooking our terrace and the marina), normal tables and an outdoor terrace (overlooking the marina).

    Fantastic food I will return , only downside is no toilet facilities and walk in pouring rain to get to them - they need to do deal with zizzi next door !

    Food mediocre. Very busy. Reserved table for 2 but had to sit facing a brick wall and asked if we could have the places by the window, we were told no because of leg room. Some other people came in and sat there after us! Will not be going back…..

    Soul warming! This is my favourite restaurant in London. Now, I know that sounds dramatic but amongst the usual hustle and bussle of large London restaurants and just London in general, this little gem of a restaurant is the perfect escape. Small and intimate but not quiet and the yummiest food ( I go for bruschetta to start with a side of extra bread with a little bowl of the pesto sauce as it’s just delicious then the bolognese for main). A special place and little secret place of mine.

    Last minute decision on our part and just what we were looking for. Simple menu, with good quality food in a cosy atmosphere just a five minute walk from our hotel in the city.

    Great little pasta place. It had a lovely cozy atmosphere. Our food was delicious, only issue was being served one wrong meal, which they apologised for and cooked the right meal (but we had almost finished when it arrived). A candle was put in our daughters pudding for her birthday and everybody in the restaurant sang to her. Very special and she loved it. We will definitely go back next time we are in London.

    Pasta quality is extremely high. Unfortunately sauces are not as good as the pasta. Possibly better to have a plain pasta with olive oil tbh. It's flavourless. Service was good, place very nice.

    The food was alright, it was well-priced. The best part of the meal was the burrata and tomato salad we ate. The service wasn't great, the waitress was indifferent towards us and wasn't interested in taking our order, she took very long to come around even though she wasn't serving tables. The pasta itself was very thick and heavy, not light and delicate. It was okay, I wouldn't go again but it wasn't a disaster.

    Lovely meal, and very accommodating and pleasant staff. Just found the background music a touch too loud, making it difficult to have an easy conversation. Apart from that it was fabulous. Definitely recommend to go if looking for lovely Italian food.

    Pasta was good value for money, we were however eating dinner facing a wall. Very small and cramped restaurant with no real privacy. Apart from that, pasta was really fresh and yummy!

    Food didn’t live up to the hype most of the pasta needed a lot of salt and pepper added as flavour was lacking. The restaurant itself is soo small and staff who were on their breaks were sitting at the bar on their phone looking incredibly unprofessional causing customers to feel a little awkward. There is no toilet inside of the restaurant and you have to walk inside of another to use theirs. The overall experience was ok but I would honestly suggest visiting another restaurant for pasta if you have the craving.

    I was looking for a specialized pasta restaurant due to my participation at the London Marathon and to accomplish my carbo load. I found this cute restaurant at St. katharine Docks. It was great. We were greet by a Venezuelan host who was awesome and kindness. I ordered the carbonara with salmon and bruschettas. Delicious. Service great! 100% recommended

    Absolutely outstanding!! We were in London for a few days and loved Emilia’s so much we decided to come here for dinner twice! We ate the truffled cacio e Pepe, homemade basil pesto with grated Parmesan, and the bolognese special and all three were outrageously delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, the sauces were so flavorful, and so reasonably priced! We enjoyed dinner with a bottle of wine, the bruschetta, and a side of the green beans with pesto and all were fabulous. Emilia’s is small, but feels so amazingly cozy on a cold raining evening. We will be recommending Emilia’s to everyone.
