Really great food and service. Undeservedly quiet at 8pm on a Friday so lacking a bit of atmosphere ... maybe the rail disruption didn’t help. But great food and definitely recommend.
Really excellent, would definitely go again. The food is fantastic and the serving staff really know their stuff. I felt very well looked after the whole evening.
Nice, casual and cozy.
Unsure about the theatre menu initially, but everything was amazing.
Waiter was also, very helpful and couldnt do more to make us feel welcome.
I chose Eneko for a pre-theatre meal with a family member, it is ideally located for The Aldwych. The set menu offered little choice, so we opted for a la carte. the food was fine, the hake tempura was very delicious, but the broccoli side was uninspired. our waiter was a little too keen, which we found intrusive, but the wine waitress was very good and we enjoyed the wine flight.
The torrija was wonderful !
a little on the pricy side, so not one for regular visits !
We visited for a pre theatre meal at 5pm. Clearly at that time it was very quiet but the staff of which there were many were very attentive and shared their passion and knowledge of the food. We selected the set menu which was very reasonably priced. The food was fantastic particularly the mussel starter and the Torrijo dessert. A quick visit, out within the hour but we will try to return for the full experience.
Amazingly friendly and helpful service. Our main waiter was so enthusiastic about their food. And his feelings were well placed. Every dish was amazing. Beautifully presented and great flavours.
Superb food and great ambient and service. I will highly recommend this place
Fabulous food and great service
Modern Basque cuisine, artfully prepared and sublimely presented. A feast for all the senses. A++
Fantastic food and range of wines. Attentive and friendly staff without being intrusive.
Some of the best food I’ve had in London. Great service as always, so glad it’s reopened
Really great Basque food!
Absolutely delightful. Attentive but discreet service. Wonderful food.
Cool place in central London.
Recently opened, high quality food with fusion and sophisticated presentation.
Excellent quality of fish (octopus and haddock)
Went here for a birthday celebration for two and had such an amazing experience - the staff were really welcoming and really knowledgable about the food & wine. Every dish we had was outstanding, wonderful ambience and faultless service. Can’t wait to return and try the other dishes!
Great atmosphere, amazing food, friendly staff, and great recommendations based on food & wine pairings. Highly recommended!
Great food, presented with imagination.
Lovely decor. Lively staff.
I look forward to returning.
Fantastic food and service. Great location. Look forward to going back again soon.
A large party here for a birthday. Delicious food, wine and service, as always! Our favourite Spanish restaurant in London!
Third visit to this restaurant, but first after the recent renovation, and it was an utter disappointment. The scope and quality of the food offering was really poor compared to what it previously had been and, having a basque wife, only had a tenuous connection to the Basque Country at best. The txuleta, which had been our favourite dish, no longer resembled txuleta at all and was a poor, tasteless, tough piece of meat. The Chipirones were, frankly, weird, as if someone had been allowed to experiment for the evening. The wine is still outrageously priced given quality.
Given the above, it was no surprise that what had once been a busy, vibrant, restaurant, was only quarter full.
My recommendation, get a cheap day return flight to the Basque Country, and you will still come away with more change in your pocket and a far better food experience than a night in Eneko.
only just opened, but the staff were brilliant and keen. The food was a delight...especially the beetroot tartare, the hake and the ribs. A solid wine list made for a very enjoyable Friday lunch.
We had the pre-theatre menu and it was superb. All three courses were delicious and of a much higher standard than the run of the mill pre-theatre offerings. We were served by Liveta and she was helpful, attentive and informative. The house wine was delicious too. The decor is very stylish and we would definitely return.
I have to say I have never had service in the UK like this restaurant. It has to be by far the best service I have experienced. The menu was great and our server new everything there was to know.
The food was amazing I recommend the tartar to start.
The presentation was exceptional
We went on a Tuesday night so the ambiance was lacking but that was our fault for going Tuesday
The food was very good, that mixed traditional Basque with new innovations.
Great experience! I recommend it for a special lunch or dinner.
Stopped by for dinner after a show in the Covent Garden areas and took advantage of the moderately priced lunch/post-theatre. Beautifully designed restaurant, excellent offerings, pleasant service!
Very classy, peaceful and positive environment. Staff are really good
It was our first time dining here but it won’t be the last! We loved the ambience and the food. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were in a rush so we didn’t have time to enjoy it properly so next time we will get more time and try more of the options on the menu. Definitely recommended if you are looking for something different and special - also with friends!
Great restaurant...amazing food
Fantastic food, service, and restaurant is beautiful.. what more could you ask for
Muy mal Servicio y mala comida , sin duda hay mejores restaurantes De Comida española en Londres.
food lovely but grossly overpriced and portions very small.
Great food for not too expensive prices from a restaurant created by a Michelin Star Chef from Spain
Very intense flavours from all the dishes. All the small and large fishes were suitable for sharing. It was perfect for a group of four friends. The highlight was the unusual but delicious beef tartare. Four people, three courses, two bottles of their basic (but elegant) wines plus dessert wine came to £80 per head.
Some staff great, some staff need to learn how to deal with customers
This was an extraordinary experience. The design was such that acoustics made it possible to have a table of 20 10 feet from our table and yet we can converse in our normal voices. Food was out of this world. The scallops were the best we have ever tasted, drinks were special. Service was great- well paced, helpful, and patient. Made our last night in London wonderful.
Excellent value pre-theatre menu. Having been to the 3 Michelin star sister restaurant near Bilbao, I was interested to try this more casual version. The venue is very attractive, with a bar upstairs and restaurant downstairs, and the food and cocktails were very good.
