Food was great, wine was great, service was great. Will definitely be coming back again soon.
Great food and lovely staff. The menu being vegan only is still very varied and exciting.
Amazing experience but don’t order the cucumber starter.
It was nice but too much cucumber. Half the size, served with something else would work a lot better
Relaxed abs casual setting. Enthusiastic staff and delicious food. What more can you ask for :)
Really great experience. Food and service were excellent. Will be back!
Really lovely new restaurant on the Brighton scene. We had a breakfast which was delicious although they didn't put the beans in a ramekin and couldn't avocado... seemed very odd for a vegan restaurant.
Simple things which make all the difference however was delicious and would happily go back.
Really great new vegan restaurant, not many tables so I would suggest booking especially as it picks up with popularity. Both myself and my wife had the burger which was delicious and the fruit lager was a perfect accompaniment. The staff were so polite and friendly we left very happy customers. There is also a deal with 50% off on Monday which would have made it incredibly good value
Really enjoyable meal. Delicious puddings. Lovely staff. It makes eating vegan very easy.
We had a lovely meal, the fsh and potatoes was a very generous serving and the bowl was scrumptious. Puddings were delicious - possibly too big... more a sharing size.
Would’ve have been lovely if there had been a cocktail menu!!
Food rather pricey for the portion sizes. Staff lovely and helpful.
If you're a vegan or aspiring vegan Erpingham House has a great selection of wonderful food for everyone's taste. I feel the food is high quality, beautifully presented and very tasty. The service was exceptional and the waitresses even smiled.....don't see a lot of that these days 😀😀 A very enjoyable experience and we will rerturn....as we did this time!
Well presented balanced lunch. Excellent service.
Second time going this month and will definitely be going there again.
Our food was presented very nicely. We all enjoyed our main courses however I wasn’t as keen on the tiramisu which reminded me of weetabix but 2 of our party found it very tasty! The dark and stormy cocktail wasn’t as stormy as we like but still ok. The temperature was cool but think this is due to Keeping the restaurant ventilated due to Covid. Overall we enjoyed our time here and the service was very good. We would come here again.
Never been to a vegan restaurant before. Loved the food 😋and friendly approachable staff.
Would definitely recommend it. 👍
Everything we ate was amazing, yet I was still jealous of the fantastic looking meals others were getting.
We will be returning to try everything in the menu.
Food was amazing and presentation was perfect, lush interior, and service was fantastic. I'm gluten and dairy free and staff asked about allergies and were really attentive and friendly. Had a perfect night out.
No complaints everything was amazing, free cocktails and 50% off too was such a treat! Best meal out I’ve had in ages ☺️ X
We're so pleased that Brighton has another plant-based eaterie: the more, the merrier! We went along as part of the Eat Out To Help Out scheme. We loved our pickled cucumber starter - really unusual & a riot of tastes & textures. Bravo! Our mains weren't as impressive though, unfortunately, as we found the tacos a disappointing mix of warm & cold, and the 'Fsh' dish was quite greasy (both the 'fsh' itself and the potatoes). We would have happily tried a dessert, but the service was a bit slow, so we ended up just asking for the bill instead.
The dining space itself felt a little cramped & claustrophobic, largely because of the low ceiling. A loud, laughing couple in the small space sadly detracted from the dining experience, though this is out of anyone's control, of course. Also, real houseplants would make the interior so much more inviting than plastic plants.
We really hope Erpingham House settles in well & goes from strength to strength over time - it's currently early days and not long after the official opening, of course.
Hands down the best plant based place I have been to. The flavours and quality was amazing.. Was like gourmet dining. Anyone not vegan will love it too and be shocked at how fabulous plant based can be. The staff were all really friendly and you could tell they really took pride in their food. The desserts were out of this world and generous in size too. Wish I lived nearer as I would be back weekly for sure. So so so so good and an excellent milestone in plant based food. I would be proud to take anyone there - vegan or not vegan. Delicious, thank you! x
Great dinner and ambiance but worth noting if you book a later time you are pushed for time due to the 10pm curfew so service has to be pretty spot on and efficient.
Have spent two brilliant evenings at EH now, both times have been outstanding. Grace and her team are warm, welcoming and knowledgeable about the food and the menu is delicious and inventive (and I’m not vegan).
Great service and food. You would never know the cheeseburger was plant based! Will definitely be back.
Another lovely experience
Food was delicious, very friendly service and nicely decorated inside
The food wasn’t as good as expected. The dark and stormy cocktail also wasn’t very good. The staff were very friendly and nice though
Was perfect - only wish you had a Brighton Twitter account so I could post all my pics!
Fantastic food and drinks, with great staff. Food is delicious and good value for the price.
Great service from Sam. Would definitely come back. Only slight criticism would be food lacked a bit of seasoning for my taste
I loved the food!! I highly recommend the tacos and the burger :))) would definitely go there again
Delicious food and lovely staff...no child menu but they were able to cater for my son with a discounted price.. thanks will be back
Tasty food, lovely staff, and good value. I had three courses and a drink for just over £30. It's great to have a place where I don't have to hunt for the vegan options; everything on the menu is vegan. It's a small-medium, cosy, relaxed, and comfortable place to eat. It was full by the time my friend and I left, but noise levels were low and it was easy to have a comfortable conversation. I will go back.
We had a wonderful dinner at Erpingham House. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful with my allergies. The complementary cocktail was a very nice addition. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back.
We loved our night out to your lovely restaurant. I'm vegan and gluten free and it was a delight to be able to choose so much!
Loved the decor and the staff were all really friendly and nice
Superb and friendly service in a lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious, wholesome and creative.
A new favourite
Great food and service really made a not vegan client very happy indeed!
After reading mostly good reviews I was keen to try Erpingham House, luckily with the eat out to help out scheme. Unfortunately it was all rather disappointing. The place lacked ambience, it feels like it’s trying too hard, but not really focusing on the right things. Our starters were fine (focaccia and Caesar salad) but the mains were very average. I had the squash which although flavours were nice it was so dry and needs a better sauce and some zing. They kindly took that main off the bill but service was slow, although our server dani was lovely. We tried the tiramisu for dessert which didn’t taste of coffee at all so we ordered an espresso shot to pour over it which made it a lot better. All in all it was very average and for paying £14/£16 per main, the dishes need a lot more work to refine them.
cold food no flavour no spices cold lattes nothing special high prices
The menu was exciting, it look a while to chose. All the food coming out looked incredible. The service was lovely, friendly, helpful and the decor is beautiful. Overall a real plant based treat! The almond ricotta on the mushroom toast and the tiramisu have got to be stand ours for me!
Very good! Very nice staff. I'll definitely come back :)
