Our bill came to 600 pounds - we asked for another glass of cognac after we paid - I asked for the bill to pay for the 12 pounds - and was told it was covered - no need to pay. Then someone came and told me I had tinpot for it . I have been to Milos Montreal over 30 times, Milos New York 19 times, Miami South Beach 15 times - thankyou Milos for your gratitude (not!) supporting you in these difficult times. Shame on you.
We made the right choice to enjoy Sunday lunch at the Milos restaurant after such a long time in lock down..
Food was excellent!!!
Menu rather limited as only few fresh fish available. But I fad grilled mackerel , which I usually avoid, and it was truly fantastic.
If you are careful with your money, then do not go there.

Overall good atmosphere, good food and presentation but a bit too expensive side that does not justify the value received.
My usual spot for lunch, I’m always satisfied with the level of service, fresh fish and of course the wine.

Super restaurant. It was really quiet due to the COVID-19 fears but all the staff were unbelievably positive and attentive. We had a pre theatre meal which was amazing. Greek salad excellent, lamb chops great and salmon tartare lovely. Desserts good too - yoghurt one the best

I love this restaurant. The best freshest fish ever. HOWEVER recently there are a lot of fruit flies around! So much that we had to move table this week and even then there were flies!! They need to do something about it ASAP or it will stop us coming.

There are 67 Michelin starred restaurants in London and it is blindingly obvious why this is not one of them. My wife and I had dinner there last night, tempted by the wet fish counter and the perceived ambiance.
We ordered Octopus, that was so over-grilled it had the texture of shoe leather and tasted burnt. No lemon wedge served with it, two mouthfuls were enough. Terrible.
We ordered grilled peppers, expecting succulent, skinned peppers drizzled in olive oil and Balsamic. What we got was a plate of partially cooked pepper quarters, all chargrilled but with the skins left on! Picking burnt skin out of your mouth is not a pleasant experience! They weren’t de-seeded properly either.
We were told the red snapper we chose would be grilled and filleted. It wasn’t. The light in the restaurant isn’t great so spotting fish bones is virtually impossible. Seriously, it was like eating a pincushion, one bone pierced my inside lip and was really painful.
Upon drawing these issues to the attention of the Manager, he proceeded into an argument with me at the table, hugely unpleasant and unprofessional. Clearly, the customer is always wrong at Milos, unless you’re an non-foodie lobster eater, which you could buy for half the price elsewhere.
Settling half the bill, we were still tucked up for £175, with just two glasses of wine and a courgette dish in addition to the above. Seriously, this place all show and no substance. At least somewhere like Novikov fleeces you properly; excellent ingredients cooked really well for eye watering cost. Milos doesn’t do anything well.
The food was excellent but front of house very poor.
No one helped to open the heavy front doors either from the outside or inside when I was struggling to open them.
Despite having booked in advance & there being ample availability visible on book a table, the female receptionist offered me probably the worst table in the restaurant one that’s between the service stations, cash till, at the back in the dark , next to the elevator. I refused to take it, the next one offered was also tucked at the back behind the bar which was also a poor table, finally I was offered an acceptable table.
When paying the bill, which was split with a friend, I was charged the correct amount, my friend was charged the full amount which we had to point out was incorrect.
I’ve been to Milos several times with my husband for lunch & dinner he works in the neighbourhood. the front of house service we experienced compared to when I’ve been with my husband was simply rubbish & insulting. I would not recommend Milos to any female friends of colleagues. If This was my first visit to the restaurant I would not ever consider returning for dinner after the experience at lunch.
Went here for an early business lunch. The place soon filled up but service remained very attentive throughout. Food was very fresh, well prepared and extremely tasty.
There was a minor slip-up taking our order - I ordered 'clam' and got 'lamb' but the lamb looked so appealing that I ate it anyway! Clearly they take any slip-up in service very seriously because because, without any prompting or complaint on our part, a complimentary extra course appeared on our table. This wasn't great for my waistline but otherwise the gesture was hugely appreciated.
Oh, and I left my work bag by my table, which was promptly retrieved by the staff and returned to me.
All in all, a lovely experience: great food, great atmosphere, super service and staff who clearly enjoy their work. I shall return.
I know that myself or my guests are in good hands from the minute I make a reservation.

Very good food but pricey. If you are sat on the growing floor you are exposed to much better atmosphere- first floor is very quiet
This place certainly has the wow factor, very chic St James eaterie. The sharing plates were very good with a good selection to suit most, although they specialise in Seafood. Amazing staff who were very attentive but not overbearing, will definitely be back for a special occasion.
It was nice but a bit pricey for the food served, nice wine list though.
The food offers a bit of Greek sunshine in Central London. If you miss the flavours from Milos island, then this is the place to go.

Second time here and the last. The service was slow and borderline abrupt, but more importantly the food was exceptionally disappointing for the price. We ordered a £75 starter of “raw fish platter” - a chef’s selection. 2 of the raw fish (served as sashimi style cuts) were actually heavily smoked. One of them I actually could not swallow, it was so strong. This is NOT raw fish. Second, the tuna tartare was inedible salty. High grade tuna For tartare should not be served pre salted, let alone overly salted. Greek salad Is £23 (easily Shared by 2 people) but it had 2 olives in it. I can’t justify the spend we incurred here when London has such a wealth of amazing restaurants offering better value and service.

Great location and premises, love the fresh fish shown on ground floor and ability to pick yours. Overall great restaurant some members of staff should be re trained, also jackets taken at the beginning of the night but you need to investigate and find the cloakroom to get it back and because no ticket was given I had to go and hunt for our jackets. Not very well planned. Just some minor details that should be addressed for that kind of level of restaurant.
Best quality fresh fish. Great variety of delicious Greek wines as well as France wines. Very kind and helpful service. It was an extraordinary dining experience.
Rarely does a restaurant live up to it's reputation as well as Esitiatorio Milos did for us. From the bread and oil all the way to the dessert, food was perfect, service flawless. Fabulous job. Of course expensive, of course you could find equally good food at a lower price, but at this level you're paying for the service, the experience, the consistency. And these guys deliver brilliantly.
I have eaten may times at Milos and thoroughly enjoy their food - especially their lunch menu, it is exceptional value for money. I adore the octopus starter!
My partner and I came for Valentine's Day late lunch and had the lunch time menu. The octopus was fantastic, the wine was lovely! He loved his lamb. I had the clam pasta, which is a £5 supplement. I complained because the pasta was so salty. I had clearly left half my pasta. I informed the waiter and he took the meal away. I saw the chefs try it and shake their heads and that was it. No apology, no offer of a coffee. We didn't want anything for free at all - but just a simple apology would have sufficed. It really left a bitter taste in my mouth, especially seeing the chefs dismiss my comment. My partner said the pasta was so salty and inedible and I had barely had two mouthfuls. It is a real shame, I may go back again, just for the octopus starter, as it really is fab! But I doubt I will go back for special occasion, or to recommend to any of my friends coming to visit London.
Rude staff, food had zero flavour, incredibly overpriced, incredibly dissapointed. We couldn’t leave fast enough.
My fiancee and I really like Greek seafood so we tried it while in London for Valentines Day. The appetizers and entrees were very good and so was the wine.
The service was good-the waiters and captains really knew the dinnee and wine menus.
Parking around the area is difficult to find however, but the hostess accomodated us even though we were late for our reservation.
