Estuary at the Conrad DC
Nice quiet place with city view. Most of the food is very good but portions are too small and prices are too high.
Did the tasting menu, it was enjoyable and creative! Our service was amazing! All the dishes were good and the beef in the final course was so tender and delicious!
Long wait for food. While food was adequate, it wasn't memorable and definitely not worth the wait.
So glad we selected Estuary for out 1 year wedding anniversary
It was amazing
Excellent food and outstanding service . Our sever , RaeShawn, was top knotch.
Great Food and Atmosphere. Perfect for a group get-together or for a romantic setting for two. Hotel is in a great backdrop. Service was top-notch and attentive. Would definitely Come here again. If you like the Voltaggio Brother’s Steakhouse at the MGM National Harbor, then you’ll like the Estuary as they are owned by the same brothers. Excellent Dining Experience.
Let me start by saying the restaurant was very nice. The food that came out correct was great. The only problem is that the service and the chef was very very slow. We had gaps of time around 20 to 30 min. They put out my food without items that where listed on the menu. The chefs need to be aware that it is an open kitchen and we could see that he was on the phone instead of cooking our food. They need to fix again the service and the chefs priorities.
Excellent setting, service, menu and ambiance. The $45 price-fix menu for brunch was a great deal. Give it a try.
This is a great restaurant - great food, friendly service
Excellent, loved the restaurant setting. Lobby bar is very cool, comfortable and seems private.LOVELY
A very nice restaurant - had business lunch - such an impressive place, great menu choices and excellent service. All of the workers have a friendly attitude and seem to truly care to make your dining experience great. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Great food and experience
Great food. Our Server was very very nice. Lots of time passed between each course and the restaurant wasn’t overly busy when we were there.
Best octopus I’ve ever had. Food and service both spot on.
Zoe was a fantastic server. Every bite was delicious.
We arranged for a birthday cake before that never appeared. Our steaks were all under cooked. Just wow.
First time in Washington DC and so pleased we booked dinner at the Estuary. Wonderful experience with a great tasting menu and matching wines. Service was impeccable and felt personal. Thanks to all the restaurant staff for making our evening such a success and a lovely introduction to local fare!
Great! Food and drinks were fantastic and excellently prepared! Service was perfect! Knowledgeable and friendly staff!
Amazing as usual. Love this place
Surprisingly the food was just okay. The service was slow and we had to repeatedly flag someone to get more drinks or food. The ambiance is fantastic!
VERY CLASSY !!! VERY NEW YORKY !!! CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN.
Amazing as always
Excellent food and excellent service. The hotel is also very nice.
We were staying at The Conrad hotel and I googled good restaurants nearby. The Estuary is located in the hotel and had good reviews so it was an easy decision. Afterward I found out the Voltaggio brothers are the chefs. I had seen them several years ago on Top Chef so I was excited about trying out their restaurant. I was incredibly disappointed. The appetizers and entrees were simply adequate and way overpriced. The desserts were the worst. The key lime dessert tasted like lime rubber and the “fluffer nutter” was bland with what my husband said were fifteen year old marshmallows. I would not go back and had expected a top notch restaurant from chefs I had been impressed with when watching them create masterpieces those years ago. There are plenty of choices in DC. I suggest trying somewhere else.
Service was really slow throughout the meal — from placing appetizers to getting dessert. The lamb was not cooked according to preference and the price exceeds the value. Go for the ambiance but do not have high expectation on the food.
25 min between appetizers, multiple forgotten/messed up orders
Thoughtful presentation of plates, flavorful dishes, nice ambiance, amazing service by Zoe. She was knowledgeable, professional, attentive, and overall on-point!
It was ok. Pricey
Awesome food.. great decor.. service to be improve.. great waiter but not enough staff...and the waiter assume we were staying in the hotel for buy.. telling us about the fabulous breakfast.. interesting
We had a very nice time. Anton and Corbin took very good care of us and made sure that we were 100% delighted with every phase of our dine. We shall return!
Wonderful dinner! Desserts are too complicated.
This is probably not a destination restaurant in and of itself, but if you're at the convention center and want a nice meal and an interesting menu, and you don't mind being in a hotel, it's a solid choice.
Everything we ate was exceptional as was the service. Definitely get the crab roll they are tasty!
The food was great, but our server is who really made the meal just that much more enjoyable. She was helpful, extremely humorous, and downright fun. It was a group dinner and she did an awesome job picking starters, both on flavors as well as amount.
For the price, food and service need improvement.
A bit spendy ($22 for bacon and eggs) but everything else was very good.
Good solid restaurant. The ambience was a bit too "hotel-like". The food was quite good, but not outstanding.
We had to wait for about 20 min for the table and had a drink at the fantastic bar. The service was slow and erratic, and the first course was delicious along with the entrees. The sides were not good and deserts an exercise in deconstructed silliness that were not tasty. The ambiance is classy and beautiful.
Best place to have dinner with your significant other.
