    I came to Evelyn's after afew years to meet up with my Uni friends, who came from far. I chose the 'Moroccan' lamb roast dinner which I thought would be full of flavours. It was quite the opposite, very bland and served with what tasted like basic gravy from a box. The noise in the restaurant was very loud, that we could not even catch up properly. Also they used to do these amazing buttermilk pancakes but the desserts menu was very limited and basic. So we opted to leave and go elsewhere for dessert. Won't be rushing to return back to be honest.

    From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly, attentive staff. The atmosphere was lovely and the food choice and quality was fantastic. It was our wedding anniversary and we were given a complimentary glass of champagne and the end of the meal which ended the night perfectly. The staff are knowledgeable about the wine and food too. We will return very soon.

    Having visited Evelyn's on a few occasions in the past we had booked Sunday lunch today. Three of us had the Sunday lunch, 2 lamb and 1 beef. The food was overcooked and tasteless such a disappointing experience.

    We arrived with our 3 month old son and we were given lovely service to accommodate his pram and other bits. The Sunday roast was superb as well! Thank you.
