Kindly note that ‘counter’ bookings are along the kitchen bar in front of the chefs and ‘high-top’ bookings are our two small tables adjacent to the kitchen bar.
Charging for 5 olives 5 pound and 20gr of nuts 2.50 pound seems out of place and price.
Amazing place with outstanding food! Service was brilliant and nothing was too much. Will definitely be going back!
Great service with amazing food! An utterly wonderful evening!
2nd time to the restaurant, seems they have 3 new chefs. Consistency not as good as first visit, but still worthwhile for a visit for those who have not been there before.
Dining at Evelyn’s Table is more than just an evening out for a nice Italian themed meal: crowded in at the narrow counter with 8 other lucky diners, you get to actually watch the chef and his brigade as they prepare your meal. It’s intimate and entertaining. Service is excellent. It’s a limited menu, reasonable portions and all expertly executed plates are designed for sharing. Delicious.
Simply one of the best places in London. The food was exceptional and the service immaculate.
Wonderful food as always and great staff. We will be back soon.
We loved Evelyn’s Table. It was intimate, and the ambiance was right for our occasion.
My only criticism is I thought some of the dishes were NOT value for money. The ‘Dairy beef’ was minute... and tough. Good taste but ...
The fish dishes were delicious but also a little too pricey for the portion size.
The lemon tart was nice... but the pastry was soft and again, a little pricey.
I am not agin to paying ‘top dollar’ for food, but it MUST be memorable!
The service was good...Jen had just the right attitude and the other girl serving on the night of 25/9 was also good but I didn’t get her name. The chefs were busy, but a little more interaction with the customers gazing down at what they were doing wouldn’t go amiss🤔!
An absolute delight! We had an amazing dining experience and would recommend this to anyone who loves food! Unique flavor combinations, perfect portion sizes (pricy but worth it), fresh ingredients, prepared right in front of you and often delivered and explained by the chef!
Small, cozy, intimate setting not to be missed!
Perfect experience, just a bit expensive for what it is
Great experience, great food, fantastic service. Loved being sat in the kitchen.
Just incredible. The most delicious food, great wine list, wonderful friendly stuff and lovely atmosphere. Such a gem I almost don’t want to share how great it is!
A super intimate experience, being able to watch the chefs prepare your dish as well as others, and have them explain the dish to you. Service is friendly and good humoured. A very small place so a great gem for a date to Impress.
One of the best evenings we have had. Fantastic food, service and ambience. Very intimate space and the food is prepared right in front of you. After dinner we went upstairs to the pub to continue our evening. Great value for money. They also have a great wine list. One of my favourite places. Too good to share! Too good not to share!
Stunning food, stunning setting, stunning joint, stunning all round!
A great experience with a chance to see super talented chefs at work. The food was exceptional from start to finish and I would highly recommend for foodies looking for something new from a restaurant experience
Excellent food, so friendly too - a must go restaurant.
Do make a reservation and then go early so you can pop up to the cocktail bar in the top of the building - love this place too. fab martinis
Service and customer interactions were outstanding!
Officially one of new fav restaurant in London
Amazing place - food was fantastic- service impeccable - we loved everything about it & cant wait to return.
Been here a few times and it's always excellent. Food is brilliant and the service flawless - attentive but relaxed.
Had a fantastic evening at Evelyn's Table. Will definitely be going back.
Very cosy restaurant located in a basement with counter top seating overlooking the kitchen. Food was fine but nothing particularly special and the dishes we sampled lacked a wow factor for me. Wine prices were pretty punchy with not a whole lot of choice by the glass. Ended up with a £9 glass of Pinot noir. The main thing I didn’t like was that the female host was very pushy to the point of irritation. Constantly interrupting our conversation and trying to push more food and beverages on us. We finished with 15 minutes to spare before our allocated 1 hour 45 mins slot was up but I imagine if we hadn’t our charming host would have been asking us to vacate on the dot! Nice to try but I don’t think I will be returning any time soon. The hostess needs to relax on the OTT service.
Personal service, delicious food & atmosphere, friendly staff & Chefs.
"We will be back"
A perfect hidden gem !
Such a great experience! The food was OUTSTANDING! Everything we ate was delicious, the flavours were really fresh and the fact you could see the chefs preparing your food was really special! It felt very intimate and the service was impeccable. Our plates and cutlery were changed between dishes and our glasses constantly re-filled. The place is quite pricey, but totally worth it!
Fabulous loved the setting, the personalised treatment, food was amazing. OMG the fish risotto. Yum yum. And wine recommendations excellent
Amazing place for a romantic event. Very intimate with cooks preparing your dishes just close to you.
Simple food with a twist cooked beautifully.
It is evident that the ingredients are sourced with both providence and flavour and treated with the upmost respect.
The staff are very welcoming and attentive without intruding
My only complaint is that the dishes come up in very quick succession - they recommend you order 6/7 to share between two but by number 4, due to the speed the final dishes were not appreciated as much as they should have been
simply excellent. Underrated. A real hidden gym in London.
It is a hidden gem under a pub. Very small restaurant with only around 15 seatings. The Italian food is served with a high standard. My favourite dishes are the tomatoes salad, the beef tartar (with a special touch of oyster very good combination for your taste bud ) and the pan fried hake. It is difficult to describe in words. Food, experience and service are all in top notch.
Will definitely go back!
Evelyn’s Table is such a nice venue. The food and staff is great. Highly recommend!
Fantastic setting. Amazing food. Even with two people, you get to try a majority of the small plates. Can’t wait to go back!
Myself and my sister had a wonderful time at Evelyn's Table! Its a lovely intimate space, with delicious food, great portion sizes and brilliant staff. Every dish we ordered was so tasty. Its pretty expensive, but so worth the money. A real treat for a special occasion. Would highly recommend!
Tasty food though narrow space and like a secret hideaway.
Very very good food and nice experience. Too bad about the fixed end time though, causing us to being rushed out and missing out on desert. Good beginning and middle, disappointing ending (incl. bill of £168). Tip: book late table.
Great hidden spot for dinner in SoHo. The staff was great as was the food. Highlights included the Dairy Cow steak, the caprese w Basil sorbet, and the mackeral. There's also a cool, speak-easy style bar on the first floor in case you need a pre or post-dinner cocktail.
A totally unique experience for the food lover. Great intimate vibe. Sit at the counter it's the best. All Chefs work to high standards. Head chef the master of everything. Andrea was so attentive. Gave us some great recommendations for Sicily too. A memory forever of our time in London.
