   Excellent value for money. My wife and I have been eating a three-course lunch on a Sunday at the Exclsve. The food was not too fancy - we basically had a roast with a lot of side dishes for main course. But it was freshly prepared (notably a crispy and skillfully seasoned red cabbage - a vegetable that is all too often neglected and just cooked too mushy and oversweetened) of high-quality ingredients and nicely arranged and really quite a lot on the plate for small money (considering the usual pricing at Manchester restaurants). Service was very attentive and friendly, although it has to be taken into account, that it was quite empty for lunch, so I cannot comment on what the service is like when it is fully booked.

   The food at Exclsve was amazing and service was excellent. It was really quiet there even though it was a Friday night so there wasn’t much atmosphere! Hopefully more people discover Exclsve soon as it’s definitely worth a visit.

   Lovely place, delicious food and cocktails and amazing friendly & helpful staff. Really gorgeous decor - the only downfall is the spotlights- it’s so bright it was like sitting in a cafe, switch them off and use the beautiful hanging lights only and you will create a beautiful ambience x

    First time here - bit of a hidden gem. Lovely service. Food was eclectic for a Tapas restaurant but very tasty. Service was lovely and attentive. Amazing cocktail. Only recommendation would be too turn the lights down slightly to make more intimate. It was a bit bright

    Amazing food, definitely more so a tasting experience than something to fill your belly. But everything was beautifully prepared, and beautiful cuts of meats. Staff were really friendly and attentive, and the cocktails were different and interesting. One thing I would comment on is that because it was a quiet evening, it was a little bit awkward in terms of ambience and atmosphere, and we felt like we had to whisper a little bit because the whole room could hear our conversation. Maybe just us though! Was amazing, oysters aren’t something you come by a lot as we’re not a costal town, but they were fresh and delicious.

    Loved our first visit at this new bar and restaurant.3 in party ,had plant menu …divine ,posh Jaffa cake a real change for plant menu ,all freshly cooked ,timely .staff lovely ,attentive and friendly ,there was only us in initially at 5.30 Tue ,pre theatre ,so hard to tell ambiance .Exquisite decour, Will definitely recommend and revisit .there was a same level loo for less able bodied too

    Food is lovely, bread was a bit dry but I think thats just what brioche is like. There’s a draft near the front but its not a big deal. the food is fantastic though, girlfriend has the fish menu which she thought was great, I had the meat menu which is fantastic.

    Service was the only good thing about our visit. Massively disappointed by this place after seeing the google reviews. Ok for a bar / drink but after getting 3 dishes between us, (which we’re pitiful!) we ended up spending £80 and still getting a Deliveroo for when we got home. Could not encourage people enough to not visit for food. Didn’t pay for 2 of our dishes and the 4 surrounding tables were the same.

    The most amazing cocktails & food. Great vibe about the place. However, far too expensive for what you get. Each tapas is roughly £8-£12 & they recommend 3 plates each! We had 2 cocktails, 1 beer, 1 cider & 3 tapas plates & the bill was just over £71.00. The bill was £78.00 until I noticed an optional service charge of £7 added to our bill. The table next to us were complaining to a member of staff over the prices being too high for what you get. Seemed as if everyone was thinking the same. Great experience & good food, just far too expensive for me.

    All of the dishes were very tasty, however they all arrived at once. So many got cold very quickly. Staggering the dishes much like in many other ‘small plates’ establishments would have made it much more enjoyable. All of the food coming out at once was a negative for us.

    Food was tasty enough, we were sat by the front door on our own with a cold draft coming through! On arrival there was a bunch of boisterous guys in there shouting and swearing! Shame really as the place could be really good! Looks nice inside, the staff were not very attentive, it’s like we were just put out the way…..

    First visit to this restaurant which I was told had not been open long. We had 3 dishes for £20 on the lunch menu and whilst we were told they were small plates we were full as we left. We had Chorizo with Octopus, pork belly, prawns and beef cheeks. All were excellent. A relaxed and classy restaurant and bar with friendly staff. The crema catalana is delicious. A real surprise find this place and we have booked for dinner next week after some Christmas Shopping.

    We were placed near the door, with a bunch of guys sat behind us who was obviously drunk, shouting and loud. Wasn’t a great atmosphere considering it was lunch hour. The food was expensive for what it was. Although the taste was spot on, and staff who served us was attentive. We were rushed off our table after 1.5hrs, to go to the bar when we haven’t finished eating, to make room for the next booking yet there was plenty of oyher tables elsewhere. Felt rushed and spoiled the experience. They charged us a service charge which I did not pay because I didn’t feel it was worth it. Won’t be coming back.

    Well, this was by far the worst dining experience my partner and I have had. For this restaurant to be described as “Exclsve” is a mockery as the reality is nothing of the sort. We were advised to order 6 small plates to share between us in order to maximise our experience which came to a total in excess of £80. Our entire order was subpar at best, two scallops for £12 and a crumb of monkfish for £10 was wholly ridiculous. The lamb cutlet, for which we were provided butter knives to cut, was miraculously with us in mere minutes (surely too quick to prepare from scratch). The chips were sadly the highlight of the meal - which says a lot - and the bravas sauce provided with them was watery and lacked any of the traditional madrileños spirit, suggesting that the restaurant was attempting to preserve ingredients. The salt cod fritters were bland and contained carcass (BONES !) much to our displeasure and to top it off the two cocktails, for a combined total of £21, were poor impressions of the real thing. No alcohol could be tasted. Additionally, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very awkward, with the staff skulking around almost as if in anticipation of complaints. It is always a telling sign when a restaurant is empty on a Friday evening, one of which we will take into consideration in future. It felt like every customer had been positioned strategically to fill out one part of the restaurant. We gave it a chance on the basis that it is a new restaurant. My partner and I were extremely disappointed with what we expected would be a high quality, fine dining experience owing to the price point. We promptly asked for the bill before the waitress could utter the word “dessert?”, the only reason we proceeded with said bill was because it felt humiliating to even mention what the staff evidently already know to be true. I can’t begin to imagine who wrote the reviews for this restaurant. Rest assured we will not be returning anytime soon !

    We enjoyed our meal, I think the restaurant will mature well if they continue to improve the finer details. All dishes came at once which I think is a mistake at a Tapas style restaurant - if I went again I would order as I went.

    The food was fabulous. They are small plates so you’ll need a few as they are relatively small. It’s a small menu too, however it was delicious and the quality was 100%. The staff were fabulous, very attentive and helpful. Chris the manager was great. He took the time to come and introduce himself. All staff were lovely and we will definitely return soon.

    Vegan roast was delicious and great value for money. Cocktails were great and the bar staff were very knowledgeable and helpful with decisions. The only slight downside was the ambience, the decor is really nice but it still didn’t feel cosy enough. Toilets were cool.
