Food is consistently good but service is consistently inconsistent. They were very busy as it was Saturday night, but there a few tables around us waiting for food and complaining. It is becoming a little on the pricey side these days too
Service was poor, no ambiance, food beige although lamb was lovely
Good food again as always, also met a lovely family on the table next to us on our left who also knew their Indian food and seemed to be enjoying it.
Great food as usual, took new friends and they were really impressed with the food.
As usual the food was excellent! Noise levels do go up as the evening goes on, this is on a Friday night, we left around 8.40pm which was the right time.
Helo am working in hotel as chef
We visting this place often .food is ok but service is not good
1.Waiter hand the menu .and after 5 sec are upu ready to oder
2.Once serve the food .not loking customer if they need more something to oder .
3. Waitres (pregnant) as we can see from glass went to kitchen start eating food . Come back with food in hand to bar counter start eating food in bite in front customer . Put food on back and go to customer while chewing to give menu . Not wash hand and serving
EATING IN FRONT OF CUSTOMER WHILE ON JOB IS NOT ACCEPETBLE AND SERVING WITH DIRTY HAND ..
May be its me as i work in this food industry .other dont wory
Me, my boyfriend and my baby came in. Was greeted by a rude member of staff because I didn’t let them know I was bringing a pushchair, finally they sat us down at a table where we sat for 10 minutes, then the waiter came over and just threw the menus on our table without saying anything. We left before we even looked at the menu. Was made to feel like we had done something wrong. Absolutely disgusting.
Customer service is awful even at non busy time they had no value for customers.
Always great service and awesome butter chicken
Service was awful. Asked the waitress for 5 for minutes so we could decide on our food and she just didn’t return. We had our starters and then sat for another 20 mins with no service and no mains ordered!! We then ordered and waited even longer for our food - my brother even went up to her and asked if we could order and she still didn’t come over! Food came out and the rice was barely warm, almost cold. Don’t recommend but they’re quick to serve you when you want to pay!! Customer service was awful and would never come back was a complete waste of money. Not even an apology for the awful service my family received.
Food is always good, going back with work colleagues on 20th! 😁
The service was very slow, ordered a paneer tikka and half of it was over cooked so couldn’t eat. Drinks serve with starters not at the beginning
We were Seated next to a group of very loud middle aged men. When we asked for another table, we were told they had been reserved (nobody turned up to claim one of the 5 empty tables. Not an ideal situation for a 8.5 month pregnant lady. On the plus side, food was at its usual high standard.
Amazing food as always. Great choices. Fantastic service, staff very attentive.
The service was terrible, we had to wait ages before we were served and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. They were prioritising take away orders not the customers in the restaurant. When the food arrived, we had no plates or cutlery. It took another 5 minutes for the plates to come by this time the food was cold. Food was not fresh and tasted like it was reheated. Very disappointed, won’t go again.
An excellent menu with interesting and varied vegetarian options. All four of us enjoyed our meals and thought everything was delicious.
Normally go here for dinner but we went for lunch and it still didn't disappoint. Great food, clean and airy environment where they cook in an open kitchen. Waitress was friendly too. Can't fault it. I like the new booths for seating. Evenings can be noisy if there is an event upstairs.
Food was excellent here but don't order the murgh Punjabi as it costs around £10 and only has 3 chicken pieces in it! It's mostly just sauce and when we told the manager she was bizarrely rude about it and told us that next time we should ask how many pieces are in a dish or we should complain before we pour the food on to our plates. She clearly has no clue about customer service skills as she then refused to take the full price off the bill (she took off half and rolled her eyes at us!!). Great food but please improve your customer service skills if you want repeat business.
The food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. We went out for my Dad’s birthday and he was very impressed which is always a good sign. It has been recently refurbished inside and we really liked the style and layout. We will definitely visit again!
Food was tasty ,service could be better
Price is reasonable
Food was ok. I went here as I'd ordered from just eat before and liked it. On this occasion I didn't enjoy the food. The lamb was a little tough. They forgot my food so I waited longer than my friend who had started eating. It was cold inside so we kept our coats on but after someone else had addressed it the heat was turned on.
Customer service was good - staff tried to be helpful were smiley and nice.
Great price, we went with 9 others and eveyone enjoyed.. starters, main course and deserts all were amazing and service was super quick.. would defo go back and highly recommend ..
Another fab meal and service. Food was lovely as always.
Authentic Indian food, nice ambience. There is a scope to improve the service. Staff is good and friendly, they did their best but it appeared that they are short on numbers.
I would not use this restaurant ever again.
Poppadoms were cleared away from table before we had finished them. Our main was awful, too salty and lots of other bits in it. As we had eaten very little the waitress asked if we would like to take it with us. No thank you. Would you like it cooked again. No thank you. Please give us another chance. 2 coffees please. After 20 mins with no coffee in sight we gave up. Tried to get acknowledgement from a member of staff. Nobody acknowledged us soo we got up and left.
Staff always very helpful. A whole set of friends went to Exotic for hen dinner. The ladies, who’d never been there before, were very impressed and loved the authentic Indian cuisine.
They will now be back.
Staff were attentive and efficient.
Food was ok but service overall was very poor. Popadums, starter and main course all arrived together which was pointless. We also ordered drinks for all of us and one didn't arrive till the food arrived after asking for it 3 times to 3 different people. No one seemed in charge of proceedings.
Party of 10, did not seem ready when we arrived. moved tables together when we got there. But did so without any issues.. Food and drink, very good... charging for poppadoms was a surprise, but i guess this day n age, everything is chargeable. the only thing letting us down, was bringing all the food we ordered at the same time.. meat eaters got their starters first, vegis had to wait another 5 mins
The food was lovely - however, the service was very slow and the restaurant was not very busy at the time i was eating.
I had to ask numerous times for items I had ordered.
great taste, yummy Indian food :), service from staff was very good.
On arrival to this establishment, there wasn't really anyone available to greet us. To be fair it was busy, and the waiters were serving fellow diners. After being seated I asked one of the waiters if it would be possible to sit elsewhere, as it was extremely cold from the overhead AC. The waitress said she would find out. The waitress did not return to our table for the rest of the duration that I and my partner were there for. Anyway after being served by another waiter, who said he would find out if there were any other available tables to move to, my partner and I decided to remain where we were, as time was already passing by. The food was pretty good until we ordered an onion salad, which was literally a red onion sliced up on a plate. I asked the waiters if this was a joke! He then did not charge us for the salad. After paying for the meal. I patiently waited for my change which was not much but all the same I waited. No one returned with my change! So I went to the cashier area and requested for my change which they gave and left. Not a place I would recommend. Service is not great.
Great tasting food, loved it..was yummy. however service could be better, had to repeatedly remind the waiter for Nimbu paani - literally 4 times! it was a friday so understand its busy. also the tables are placed to close to each other - hard to move in and out.
Can't fault anything really, the atmosphere, the service etc. were all good, but for us the most important thing was the food. Now, we had heard a lot about this restaurant so decided to give it a go, and were looking forward to our special occasion evening meal. However, although most dishes were tasty enough, others were somewhat bland, so sadly a mixed review. The portions were generous, and we can imagine that the lunch option may be better for us, or try different dishes from the menu, and that's exactly what we intend to do in the near future. Nothing to complain about, and looking forward to trying something different next time.
I used to live close to this restaurant, the food has always been good. Always popular however seems with the price increase fewer people were dining when we went and it was a Saturday evening.
We had an excellent meal on a Sunday where we had a group of four males on a golfing weekend. The menu was varied, and we opted for a Danzak (2), House Special chicken, and a Murgh curry, wkth several side dishes, and the standard rice and Nan breads. All this plus 3 Cobras each and an after dinner drink for £150. Absolute great value for money and excellent. The atmosphere was very friendly with multiple asian groups and familes. Very authentic and overall the best indian meal we've had for a long time. Well done everone
We are regulars here and the food is always good. Service can be inconsistent at times. Prices are creeping up and it's starting to become a little expensive for the area. There is a ceiling for Slough and they are reaching it imo
It was alright. I thought the food was okay, not great, but personally not to my taste. I liked the chicken tikka starter but not the mains
Poor quality meat in main dishes. Chicken quality was horrible. Chicken tikka masala was horribly sweet. Keema naan had hardly any mince. Asked for mild saag chicken - they took all the spices out so it was bland - barely edible
Great food and a great ambience. We ate off the vegetarian menu and all courses were really tasty. Staff are attentive and great recommendations forthcoming. Will be coming again
