There was only one waiter working. Service was super slow for drinks and food. We asked for appetizers to come out first and all the food came at the same time. Waiter also forgot my 2nd drink request from the bar. Won’t be rushing back!
Sat at the bar for brunch and had a great time! Will be back for sure. The bartender was incredibly nice! :)
We both ordered the Shepard’s pie. It was outstanding; woul order it again without hesitation.
We got wings and Sheppard’s Pie for the most part! Both were delicious! I have never been disappointed.
Very quiet due to restrictions but still excellent service and yummy food. Drinks were amazing. Highly recommend for a night out. Plenty of seating even at 25%.
We got there around 10:15 am and our table was dirty with crumbs... so never cleaned from the night before, in the age of Corona?! Ew. Good thing I really wanted Irish brekkie. It was tasty and the server friendly, the ambiance quiet but authentic Dublin-esque. The bartender walked around with his mask under his nose. Why did i give this place 4 stars again?
Indoor and Outdoor Service. Outdoor is partially covered. We ate outside. Waitress was very pleasant and did not rush you. We had the fish and chips and the Reuben and both were delicious. We would go there again. :)
Great first trip out post-COVID. Nice, spacious outdoor seating area.
I always get the fish and chips and a Guinness. It can't be beat.
Went for our 33rd anniversary, second time there, great time, waitress was phenomenal
Ambiance at Fado’s outdoor seating is delightful - on top of which we had lovely weather and a gentle breeze!
My Irish Breakfast was tasty, but a bit “heavy”. My wife’s Pear and Blue Salad was outstanding - very flavorful and generously portioned.
Fado has done a fantastic job of adapting to the new normal regarding dining during the pandemic. The food was excellent and our server was very attentive. I will continue to tell everyone I know what a wonderful experience it is to dine there.
Great service. Great food. Lovely evening for outdoor dining ... and they seem to have a handle on social distancing. Too bad eating outside meant sitting near smokers 😒
I went one day after indoor dining was allowed, but chose to sit outside on such a nice day. The waitstaff was exceptionally friendly and polite. It was great to finally sit down at a restaurant for the first time since the Covid shutdowns began.
Our table was waiting for us when we arrived. There are umbrellas for shade and the Fado patio is lovely. The tables were spaced even further apart than CDC recommended, giving everyone lots of personal space. We ordered from the brunch menu and everything was wonderful. We will Definitely go again.
Great happy hour deals from 4-7 pm on weekdays. Draft Guinness and craft cocktails. Bartender Chris was very friendly, attentive without being intrusive. Shepherd’s Pie was tasty. Selected appetizers $6. Chef was kind enough to grill my fish for tacos. Would highly recommend and will go again!
Awesome location for some local irish bar fun. Staff bartenders were exceptional on the incredibly busy night of McGregor fight. We had a terrific time eating great bar food and rooting for the Irish ! Will be back and share with friends.
Everything was amazing!
Great early evening dinner on New Years Eve. 4 adults and a toddler enjoyed food and the energetic level of noise meant our little one wasn't a distraction to other diners.
Nice decor, but poor customer service. Had to seat ourselves, pit in our drink and food order at the bar ourselves, and when I spoke to the manager about the poor service, he blamed me for not finding him earlier to tell him about it. Service was a total joke, we won’t be back.
Meal before Navy-AF game with two grandsons. Played darts before and after meal. Lots of TVs showing college football games. Meals were a cut above pub grub. Enjoyed it.
Couldn’t get waited on. Had to move and beg for service. Ordered Shepard’s pie. Never came. Under time constraint. Was told only a Reuben could be made in time. All this totally unacceptable.
Food was delicious and arrived quickly. Outside seating was really nice.
It isn't really mush of an Irish pub..The decor.is maybe sort of British. There was Irish stew on the menu
The fish and chips that we had was pretty good, but nothing special. The service was lackluster. Our server never came back to see if we wanted drink refills or anything else.
Food was great. Fun place. Celebrated a birthday. Table was ready when we got there.
We joined a group of friends to have dinner and hear a band. The restaurant was flexible with changes to our original reservation. The server handled what could have been a confusing order. Everyone enjoyed the food and drink selections. The band was great.
The servers were slammed on Father's Day. Management should have had a few extra hands on deck.
Attended mother’s day buffet that was pricey but there wasn’t a lot of choices. The ad said free mamosa but wait staff never offered it. Nothing dessert like was on the buffet. Not worth the money.
We made a reservation for Mother’s Day. It was not disclosed the the buffet would be the only brunch option. We specially picked Fado because of this brunch menu selections which appeared excellent. Upon hearing about eh buffet option, we went to eat the buffet and the selection was less than appealing and not worth $30. It appeared picked over and not fresh so we left without enjoying a meal for Mother’s Day. this was very disappointing and the staff did not make any effort to apology more than a “sorry about that” or rectify the situation in anyway. I will not be returning to Fado for any special occasions or events and possibly not at all because of the lack of transparency and customer service.
Took my wife and 2 boys (12/14) to Mother's Day brunch. When we arrived we only then were informed it was a buffet only and no ordering off the menu. I neglected to ask how much the buffet was per person only later to find out it was 30.00 per person (kids too) and did not include coffee/juice etc. I will say the staff was excellent and courteous and the food selection/quality was flavorful . My only issue was the value which was poor.
We took my mom for her 75th birthday. The staff knew that ahead of time and really did nothing to acknowledge it. We had to ask which was whatever. The really sad part was how terrible the corned beef and cabbage was. Two of us got it and it was sliced deli me and shredded cabbage. Also the one person that got salmon said it was very dry and didn’t care for it either. I was very disappointed. Fado is definitely better for drinking, not eating.
Best Arctic Char that I have had at any price! Fish and Chips and Crab Cake were also great. We’ll definitely go back.
My friends and I have eaten dinner here twice before a concert at Maryland Hall. The service was always prompt and very friendly. The food is very good. The music is just a bit too loud for me, but otherwise, I do love this place. We have all agreed we will come back yet again in the future.
Food & service is always good. This is my family's 4th year having Easter brunch at Fado's Annapolis.
Made a reservation 1 week ahead for Easter Bruch at 10:30a. We were seated at a table that was four steps from the main entrance stairs. Requested another table that was not so close to the entrance. The hostess replied she would not move us as the other tables were reserved. Guess my reservation wasn’t as important as all the other empty reserved tables in the whole restaurant. By the time we left only 1 other family came in.
The wait staff was nice and did not have any issues with her service. Food was good.
We participate in Restaurant Week. Tried lots of dishes. Delish @
The only drawback to Fado is that the noise level is quite high making conversation difficult. The food we ordered came promptly and was very good. All four of us enjoyed our dishes. We ate from the appetizer menu which was great. Our server, Liz, was very good. As I said, the noise level, which was just from the music (not live) playing while we were there. It could easily have been turned down a notch or two.
Beer, food and service were very good. Customers at adjacent tables were very vocal in their enjoyment of college football games on TV, which made conversation difficult.
Went on a whim, haven't been to Annapolis in ages. My wife an I had a fantastic time, just made it before happy hour ended and the staff was great with getting our order in in time. Food was delicious and the wait staff awesome.
