The service was great! Food excellent and we got to sit outside!
We live just around the corner, but had not visited Fairfield’s in several years. We now intend to become regulars.
Jill was our server and she was great; friendly, attentive and patient as we ordered 4 courses!
Food and service are always great at Fairfield’s which is why we go there quite often.
Ordered linguine with white clam sauce and it cooked perfectly with excellent flavor. Others in our party had more traditional pub fare such as cheeseburger cooked medium rare. One person ordered a Miami sandwich. It is corned beef, coleslaw cheese etc on rye. Definitely a winner.

We had a wonderful dinner for my son’s 35th birthday. The food was excellent and the service was superb. It was our first time here and we will be back!!

We went for the fish fry, which we found on a list of the five best near Rochester. The fish was excellent, the staff were friendly, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend.

I made a reservation on the Open Table app on a Monday evening, as it gave me the option of 8 p.m. and I was right around the corner. My friend and I got to the restaurant at 8, and the waitress rudely told us that they close at 8. I said "well we just made a reservation online and it gave us an 8:00 time slot as an option." She looked extremely annoyed, and said " Well we can seat you, but we close at 8. She clearly did not want us there. She could have said it in a much nicer way and we would have left. However, because was so rude, and because she gave us the option of staying, we decided to stay. She escorted us to a table, and as we walked back there, we walked past the female bartender. My friend, a very friendly person, (wearing a mask,) made eye contact with her as we walked by the bar, and the bartender snapped at my friend, saying, "ma'am, do you have a problem?"
My friend did not hear it, but I did, so I stopped and said are you talking to me? And the bartender said very snottily, "Oh, no, HER. I thought she was mad at me for domething."
I said "no, of course not". Then we went to our table, and we both decided to leave because of the way these two women were acting. Was the cook then going to spit on our food because we made him or her stay longer? I could not believe the way we were being treated. We used to go to this restaurant years ago, and the food was always good, and the prices were reasonable. However, after this exchange with the two extremely rude and combative female employees, we will never be back. The bartender had no business snapping at my friend, and the waitress could have very politely said "I'm sorry, but we're closed, but we are open between these hours, so please come back another time." And we would have.
But I will never be back.
The food was not very good and I contacted them. My food was cold and I sent it back. They gave the food back to me “heated” but was still tepid.

Always great food when we go to Fairfield’s. We love the Wednesday fish fry because it’s hard to get in on Friday’s.

We went for a birthday party with a table of women. The servers were nice but they need to say somewhere (when you make a res. on Open Table and put it the notes that it is a birthday) that you are unable to bring a small cake in. We had no idea... so not really our fault but the hostess was not very nice about it at all. Also had us crammed in a small corner right by the kitchen door. Not cool for a party of 8 with a reservation well in advance. We pushed to move and they begrudgingly did but just noting that the staff could have been more gracious about things. Thanks.
We waited over an hour for our food. My soup was cold Not servers fault. Something was not right in the kitchen
I like the variety of foods. The food is delicious and prices are reasonable for the portion sizes.
Had a very nice meal. Cost was reasonable. Our server Malysia was excellent. Will definitely come back!
Yes for happy hour, maybe for dining. The dining room is very loud when full. We were seated in a back booth in a corner by a large loud family. Asked our server to move us and he said he couldn't. Btw, the waiter's service was very slow. We finally had enough with the noise level, saw some booths up front open up and asked the front desk to move us which they did promptly. We were assigned a different waitress who was young, pleasant and very good!! All in all, would come back for happy hour and probably eat at the bar or ask for a booth in the bar.
I had lunch there with some girlfriends, and just loved the atmosphere. Took my husband there for an early dinner, and thoroughly enjoyed it! We will certainly come back!
We had been there in past and was great...this time was not good food.
Many menu choices, generous portions. Although rather expensive their dessert offerings are delicious and variety of cakes make it difficult to choose. We found the service was very good and waitress was very polite. This is a great place to dine with friends and family.
We had a fabulous time - 7 of us spanning two generations and coming from across the country! Our server was the best; taking excellent care of us while allowing us to catch up. she even offered to take pictures both inside and outside the restaurant. Will definitely be back....have order from Grub Hub too with excellent results :)
