Faith & Flower
So i really enjoyed my time at this restaurant. The bar was nice, the food was really good and the service was amazing. They suggest about 1-1/2 for dinner & I guess they do it more family style although we are our meal separately. We shared the crab toast-delicious, then I had the short rib w/potato purée and my sister had the sea bass which I tried & was excellent. My only complaint is that my reservation was for 8 & we didn’t get sat until 8:40 we had tickets to an event & that put us in a time crunch. The server was great in expediting our order though so we appreciated it. I will come back when I have more time for sure.
Awesome spot for HH and can’t wait to come for a dinner in the restaurant area. Service was top notch.
Such a wonderful place. The food was excellent. Each dish perfectly considered. Plating was beautiful. Plenty of food. If you are two people you can likely get away with only 3 dishes total, but then you will want to try more. Great cocktails also.
We LOVE this restaurant. It’s classy, stylish, and has great food. The short ribs are amazing!
Beautiful location and great food. We had a fun and delicious dinner w friends.
Unfortunately the most memorable aspect of our dining experience was a very pushy waitress. After explaining to us that the meals were meant to be shared we collaborated and placed our order. Our waitress said it was not enough. We are seniors and one’s appetite decreases with age. We know how much we want to eat. Our waitress came back three times before she was willing to accept our order. We ordered two salads and two entrees. The salads were innovative and superb. Our two entrees , salmon and paella, were adequate but not exceptional. We sat outside. It was hot. It was. noisy outside but mercifully less noisy than inside. I wouldn’t go back
Milk punch, green beans and deviled eggs were our favorites but really every dish we tried was food.
I met my husband for dinner after work. Nothing special. The food was very boring, a little bland. Our server was nice and attentive. We each had a glass of wine and shared a salad, appetizer, a light main (a rice dish) and a dessert. The hamachi was the best of the lot, but the paella was mediocre at best. $200 for splitting an okay meal is not okay with me. There are much better options all over downtown.
It was a great evening. The food had wonderful unique flavors. The service was attentive and friendly. Definitely plan to go again
Of course, the food is delicious. The decor is so beautiful. I have to thank my waiter, my dinner companion was close to an hour late. Thank goodness for the book, that’s also a menu, which allowed me to entertain myself. Plus, the waiter took real good care of me, while I waited for my friend. I had an amazing time. I will always be coming back.
Service was terrible. The waitress was rude and rushed us through the entire meal. Food is good, but not worth the price for rude service.
The staff was off the charts, especially the Sommelier! The food was so good, especially the mushroom risotto.
Great space, great food, great service. We highly enjoyed our evening.
Just fantastic all around! Great cocktails, incredible little gem lettuce salad and duck breast, and delicious cheesecake for dessert!
Nice place overall although the food was a bit disappointing. Seating hostess was super friendly. My only big complain was the waiter. He wanted to talk forever so l was forced to give him the cold shoulder. He almost ruined my good time with my girlfriend.
I had dinner with a date, not the waiter. He tried hard but his long intermissions were annoying and unacceptable
Everything was great until the restaurant filled up at which point conversation became almost impossible.
We loved everything about our experience at Faith and Flower! Every dish was interesting and delicious, the service was impeccable - Lindsey was knowledgeable, helpful and just delightful! The sommelier is fantastic and curates an excellent wine menu! Even wine by the glass was exceptional! This restaurant is a gem in DTLA!!
Not a very attentive waitress, after waiting several minutes we had to get her attention to place our order. Food was nothing exceptional. Cocktail was really good.
I proposed to my now fiancé here. They were the absolute best and made our special occasion even more special! Thank you so much Faith & Flower!
Kevin our server was outstanding, no fluff and he directed us accordingly. He was on point and very accommodating along with who ever prepared our table that night for the reservation. The environment was classy, modern, up to date. Although there was a lot of people, the lighting and the service still maintained its intimacy. The food was amazing and very healthy. For an upscale place like this, the price was well worth it. Food was good for sharing and proportions were nice. My wife celebrated her birthday and loved it here. Considering the fact that I brought my infant and 5 year old, the staff were very friendly and attentive to us. Definitely coming back!
Being my favorite DTLA eatery it’s hard to not gush uncontrollably about Faith and Flower. From the brilliant cocktails to the decadent and fresh dishes you can’t go wrong. You’d be hard pressed to find a better place especially with Grace as your server; or as you’ll come to find out, Grace as your new close and dear friend. A must stop for the bar or dinner, you’ll be very glad you did.
Charming experience. Really loved the ambiance and the food. Service all around was really wonderful, very attentive and friendly. The duck was so delicious and the oxtail was very yummy. Loved the paella too. It's fun to try a variety of dishes and share with your group.
Excellent dinning experience
Way over priced.
We love this resturant! It fits any occasion, the food & beverages are always a perfect match
Let me just start off by saying that I will NEVER come back to Faith & Flower again. I had been here before many times, but last Saturday will be my last ever. My friend and I ordered plates to share. We got the Sea bass, Chicken, and Squash salad. We both got sick within hours of consuming the food. This was dinner time, so out situation the following morning can only be described as being violently sick. Without getting descriptive, we were not in a good state at all. I called the restaurant, and spoke with Connor, the manager on duty. He said he wasn’t the GM and since it was a holiday weekend, he would have the GM get back to both my friend and I the next business day. I never heard back, and neither did my friend. I personally ended up missing an important event, almost ended up in the ER and am just now going back to normal- 5 DAYS later! On day 2 of this episode, I nearly passed out from confusion, lightheadedness, nausea and cold sweats. Whatever is happening in their kitchen is unsanitary and gross. Eat here at your own discretion!!! They also clearly don’t give a c*ap if their customers get sick or not. Extremely poor service, cleanliness, and customer service for a place that used to have a reputation. I will be seeking further action since I never got a follow up phone call.
Very disappointed by our meal last night. Firstly the wait staff were great, friendly attentive etc. our issue was with the food. We ordered the salmon and the paella, both were exceptionally poor especially for the money paid. The salmon was literally just a piece of cooked salmon, little flavor or seasoning and it was pretty undercooked for our liking. This was disappointing for a $30-something entree. The paella was exceptionally poor, rice was undercooked, absolutely no flavor, seafood in the paella also lacked any flavor. The dish was also only lukewarm. We also ordered oysters as a starter and they were not good, the may be due to the type of oyster they were serving which we hadn’t tried before but they just were underwhelming. This was all paired with the feeling they tried to rip us off, we were told to order two dishes per person, that would have been way way too much food. All in all a very disappointing meal that cost us just under $200 for 2 people, we couldn’t wait to get out of there and stop by somewhere else on the way home. We don’t normally complain or write negative reviews but we felt this really was just a massive disappointment for a pretty heavy price tag.
Our wedding anniversary dinner was one of the best gourmet experience ever. Our Sommelier matched every dish with a wonderful choice of fantastic quality wine.
We dined for 3 hours and left the restaurant exceptionally happy. Our waiter was fun to talk to. Love this place. We will come back for sure.
Wasn’t a fan of getting a “kitchen charge” of 3% without warning or any explanation of what it was for or the up charge for for having our martini “shaken”
Great food and service otherwise
It was really great food however the waitress made us feel rushed. She would ask a question but wouldn’t wait for an answer and was on to the next table. She was a petite Asian girl. She didn’t let us enjoy the dining experience. Other than that we love that place.
Amazing friendly service, will definitely keep coming back!
One of the best in LA. Clients blown away. Kevin great server. Unreal drinks and deserts. New fav
Amazing service, cocktails and food. I highly recommend!
We loved it! Our waiter Gilberto was so professional and gave warm, personalized service.
We did not appreciate the “kitchen fee” - very unprofessional. You need to figure out how to pay your employees’ salaries and benefits without nickel-and-diming your customers.
I own cafes and restaurants and you must find a way to fold those costs into your menu prices.
Wonderful salad, pizza....liked the pork ribs (no bones) but skimpy portions.
The chocolate mousse dessert was wonderful. Beautiful decor and ambience.
We had such a great time at Faith and Flower this past weekend for Brunch. Jess our server was wonderful. I look forward to returning soon!
Such a beautiful restaurant! Amazing drinks and food. A lot of their menu is tapas style so they encourage you to order a few items at a time but the pasta dishes were perfect portions for one person. Menu is a little pricey but the food was really delicious. Would definitely recommend!
Visited Faith & Flower just this past weekend with 3 other friends and loved it. Food was absolutely amazing and the space is beautiful. That said, our service was a bit off as I think the server was having a bad night. For fine dining there should have been dedicated water service as our glasses were constantly empty and the server seemed, well, just annoyed/tired, etc.. At one point even pulled a napkin out from under a friend's elbow which then hit the table. No apology, etc. Additionally, the menu doesn't really explain that this is definitely meant to be a shared experience (it's traditionally laid out with Appetizers/Entree's etc) and our server came across as irritated when we didn't understand her point after she first recommended we share everything. When she further explained that the kitchen can't really time things that way it then it made more sense and we went with many of her recommendations which were spot on. The best thing was the oxtail pasta but every single dish was magical. One of the things that attracted us was the Old Fashioned drink menu - not sure I can totally recommend them at the prices they are charging (22-29$). All in all, this place is a gem and I plan on returning next weekend. Highly recommended.
Loved the wheat pasta with lamb. Great atmosphere and good wine list. Would recommend the rose by the glass
